Newbie has questions & seeks advice

I'm new to Kratom, and very much looking forward to experiencing for myself this herb/plant. Thanks to those who created this site--and to those of you who answer questions and offer advice--this site which has really been informative & helpful in terms of becoming educated about Kratom. I'd appreciate suggestions to the following questions:

1) Who is a good source to order a "Sample Pack" from? Since I've never tried kratom before I'd like to get a mix of strains/colors/blends to try and see which works best for me.
My only requirements being:
a) I need to be able to pay by credit card, paypal, personal check, or money order. I don't own any cryptocurrencies or have any other way to make payment.
b) I need to be able to order over the phone or via a website, but NOT via Facebook (evidently I'm the last person on the planet who is still not using facebook, and I'm not gonna' start now).

2) How do members of this forum send PMs to other members? Maybe I don't have that privilege/authorization as a new member? While surfing through this site I found the name of a trusted member who (almost as a service to newbies) sells quality sample packs (member name is Zenoituten) but I don't see a way to contact him/her.

3) I read somewhere about "enhanced" kratom? Can someone explain what this is? Is this where somehow the manufacturer simply makes the leaf or powder "x" times stronger than it is found in nature?

4) Can someone explain what is meant by 2 way / 3 way / 4 way split? Does this mean that (for instance) on an order of a half kilo of powder, the vendor allows you to split the order up into 4 different 250g varieties?

A split kilo is exactly what you think it is, and enhanced kratom has been enriched with kratom extract (powerful, but it will amp up your tolerance, so be careful). We also don't talk about payment processing openly -- the FAQ will tell you why.

I did read the FAQ page but did not see my questions addressed there, but I will revisit that page and check.

I was also aware of the list of vendors who offer sample packs, but a) that list is from way back in April (I think) so with everything going on in the Kratom World and so many suppliers evidently being sold out, I guess I was doubtful of the usefulness of this list nearly seven months later. Also, I did contact one of the vendors off that list, but she said that they no longer offered sample packs, and she directed me towards facebook, which as I mentioned in my OP, I don't use.

Yeah, DaddyD, I know the list is from April and now has some old information, but the majority of deals listed there are still good. And most of them do take the payment options you mentioned.

One sample pack I personally took advantage of and would recommend to anyone is SoCal: SAMPLE9 in the promo code gives you nine ounces of whatever strains you choose, and they have good leaf. Kraydo is another sample pack I have personally tried (check the sample list for the code). And Mystic Island doesn't do sample packs specifically, but has $3 trial sizes of all their leaf so it's as good as. All three have website purchases; at least one has an invoice system where you place your order, they send you an email, and then you pay after you've received the email.

Given the requirements you listed, you shouldn't have a problem, and I'd recommend any of those three without hesitation. There are more; those are just off the top of my head. Good luck!

I used to do a list of vendors with sample packs but with the current state of affairs if you ordered a sample and decided you liked it odds are that the vendor would be sold out and you wouldn't be able to reorder the strain anyway.

Also some vendors discontinued sample sized due to them taking so much time and effort and they're too busy.
