please look at page 51 (or earlier) under this topic--the question has been asked several times, and answered better than I will. TFH is currently closed to membership, but has open sales during the year, where anyone can purchase from the menu. Dates close to the near future are listed and the event is heavily advertized. With purchases during the 'open event' you receive raffle tickets, where you can potentially win TFH membership.

Other answers provided earlier in this thread (page 51, etc) discusses the Trading Post. Lots of TFH out there, and opportunities to purchase from DoubleM members, from TFH during Open Events--with the chance to win membership during those times. Don't throw the raffle tickets away!

I do want to add that raffle tickets are not guaranteed in open events; the last time they weren’t included.

Heck yes, on my B day !! sweet, cant wait... hands down very clean kratom, everything i tried from TFH. even the weak kratom is still gold, very clean. People who are sick, i noticed strong kratom can affect negatively, i did give weak kratom so called not so weak, for them it was perfect... couldn't thank me enough. safest choice to give if you worried they might act weird on stronger kratom. I remember even when i was sick the only kratom i could handle was TFH for a month strait. So i know the power of TFH GEMS. Each time i dip into TFH bag i bless him and wish him long life. Deserves the blessing for doing good deeds and helping. So much time invested behind the scenes and in general sending samples. I feel quilty i still didnt have a chance to try some of the sample.... But iam sure Chris will forgive me, we are not all perfect and get side tracked.

I'm new to posting on the Forum, though I've read it for a few years. How do you "post a reminder?" And do you just keep checking in daily hoping to stumble on the next announcement from Texas Family? Would love to sample their goods that are so well spoken of.

Alright, I just filed my taxes, so should get a couple bucks back in 2-4 weeks, and I have finally almost used up my TFH from the spring 2020 event. Ready to make my once-every-2-years split kilo order. :)

You know, being new to the Texas Family Harvest rodeo, even if the kratom is so-so, they certainly have a brilliant marketing technique to create anticipation and consumer desire!

Well, it isn’t a marketing technique. They are members only so that they can maintain quality control. People just naturally love their leaf and talk about it. They initially didn’t even do open events until someone said that it was unfair that they didn’t allow the public access to their leaf.

I don't know if anyone is better than TFH because I haven't tried it yet! It was meant to be a (slightly) humorous observation about the buzz and excitement that is swirling around.

All humor aside......not only is their leaf good to ridiculously good, their quality control is off the charts and large ordering capability means easier to test leaf and re order, but equally important is the FACT that their customer service is second to NONE.

When I say second to none, I mean second to none and honestly in a class by themselves.

Chris and Angie have been amazing!

You must have a ridiculously high tolerance or other substances in your system. I’ve tried over 100 vendors in the last 8+ years and TFH is in the top 5 for me. I never had even one batch that wasn’t fresh and potent. I recognize everyone is different. But to say TFH is So-So, I’m certain you are in the extremely small minority with that view. I also think they have a great marketing plan. But they have a large private clientele. Their marketing technique has nothing to do with creating anticipation or customer desire. Unlike someone like Soultanic, that makes you feel lucky to grab even 100g and sells out in minutes from the time they have a sale event. I’m not knocking Soultanic in any way. His Kratom is always good. But it’s so difficult to get any that I’ve since given up.

Very interesting. I have yet to try TFH. I qualified for the sample testing awhile back but couldn't decide on an order to go with the samples so I ended up never ordering. I'm hoping maybe he will let me squeeze an order in. I'm looking at the Top Shelf Green MD. and btw what do you mean by great marketing plan?

Let me say this. I think I'm being misunderstood. I think it's admirable that TFH has so many fierce defenders.

I never said I thought it was so-so. I've never tried it, though look forward to doing that in the near future. My Kratom tolerance is good, I only use a few grams to feel it.

I made a very weak joke, from an outsider perspective, that stirring up all this interest and excitement could be a great marketing ploy. I didn't say it was a ploy. I was speculating It was like a wisecrack, that it COULD be. And that IF it were a ploy the kratom wouldn't need to be top notch. I didn't say it was less than top notch. It was a speculation. And a joke. That didn't work for a lot of you.

I had no idea I was stepping on the tail of a very touchy cat.

Great marketing plan, as in they send out samples and only the best reviewed batches end up on the menu. Some of the samples won’t end up on the menu because they don’t score high enough. So you’re getting what the general consensus feels are the best of the best batches. The current menu seems bare and there’s a lot of “100g only” batches now. It’s hard to go wrong with anything on the current menu.

As for my personal preference, the Top Shelf batches are all really good, in my opinion. I really enjoy the Samarinda batches. The 30yr Wild batches. Git’r Done and Deep Forest batches. Some of my all time favorites are the Classic TFH batches in Red, Green and White. As well as the Green Hulu back from 2019. That Green Hulu batch from long ago was probably the best Kratom I ever had. The Rocket Red is a great choice for a day time Red. Most of the Red batches are great for the daytime. But there are some very slow Reds that are great in the evening for me. The After Burner batches are great as well. I honestly can’t pick just one.

For the individual making the joke, I do apologize if the sarcasm was lost on me. That rarely happens as I’ve perfected the art of Sardonicism. I apparently went full circle with the sarcasm and did a 360, totally not getting the joke that I would normally appreciate very much.

He does explicitly state that the "100g bag only* on the menu has nothing to do with its popularity.

He says that he never limits a batch to 100g bags based on popularity. 100g bags may be indicative of top sellers, which are usually the more popular ones. It may also be because it’s been on the menu often. If it’s a newer batch and it becomes available as 100g bags fairly quickly, it is likely a sign that it is popular. If an item has been on the menu for several months and is finally reduced to 100g bags only, stock is just finally getting low.

Exactly! “100g Only” has nothing to do with quality and likely is a sign of popularity since inventory of that batch is running low. Or possibly that batch was only acquired in a smaller quantity than other batches.

Yep it could be the other way around. Maybe the 100g only bags are really crappy sellers and he only keeps a small amount in stock therefore runs out quicker. (queue X-files music)

How would that work? He tests every strain and there’s a minimum threshold for it to make it to the menu? How would he know what would be a “crappy seller”? What happens to the rest of the amount that he doesn’t keep in stock?

I hate to ask here because it's slightly off-topic but since this is the most coveted kratom in the US, what are the names of the other top names of top sellers comparable with TFH?

The answer will vary depending on who you talk to. Everyone has their favorites. Most of the favorites on this board are listed on Ballz's vendor list, which will pop up with a quick search but is also stickied somewhere around here.

TFH is so-so? What have you tried?
I also thought he burned his receptors when he said so so... There is nothing so so when you take a full tolerance break and come back to it. You will feel like your on cloud 9 in a warm bath like feeling. There was few times i dismissed it as weak kratom but in reality my receptors were fried from using to much fast strong batches that long term has a wall. TFH the wall does not exist, no need to chase dragons just some classic kratom feelings. If you dont know what classic kratom feelings is i advice take a nice tolerance break annd come back to the most weakest kratom you got from them to truly melt away like the witch in wizard of oz. Yap dont forget to tap your feet 3 times to go home of nice and gozzy right after kratom shot. :D

Edit: I did see you were joking, but still should give it a try, i think you will have zero regret. I remember when i was very ill, the only kratom i could easily handle was TFH. Any other fast once gave me unwanted weird feelings but when i got better i was not able to feel those unwanted feelings, so anything gos bad with you health wise, TFH is for the WIN. Even if you feel not much, its enough to melt the anxiety away in a safe manner. I just dont understand why only TFH brand gives me zero side effects. Even when i stop kratom i can easily got for 7 days and not care about it. Just these days, if its not kratom it will b pills. I am sure everyone on high alert and anxiety from what we see these days is trough the roof. I consider the cleanest kratom #1 worry free. CLEAN = no odd side effects even if over taken. Less stress on the brain. I feel TFH has very long legs, iam 8 hours i and still feeling great. I posted in whats burning thread which one i took if interested.

I just dont know how to thank Chris enough for doing such hard work, but i am sure he is aware. Much Love... :ugeek: 8-) (I always praise vendors even if i had wrong impression before) . Dennets is also very good. I dont know why people don talk about Liza but she got gems as well, just got to dig them out and post reviews or others. Smily time is also great once you hit on the right batch.. Any way good luck on everyonce hunt for real GEMS...

You hit the nail on the head. I've needed a good tolerance break for about a year now and still have yet to do it. TFH is now the only thing that hits. I have stockpiles of kratom that don't do anything for me at all at this point and it's a bummer because I say it's all weak, but I know that's not even the case deep down.
