On a whim I decided to roll the dice and try Golden Monk Green Bali. It doesn’t smell right, it doesn’t taste right and I felt absolutely nothing from it. I’d give it a zero out of ten.

Golden Monk is trash. Before I knew about double m I tried them and the exact same thing, no effect. I should of known something was up when they had a blog on their site advertising other Kratom companies. It's almost like they are a reseller or something.

I have a good friend who waits for me to try stuff and then dig deeper. Kratom happened and his first order was a kilo from Golden Monk. I was a proud Kraken guy myself (hehe). All was groovy until more dosing equaled less everything. Lame story, short - He has tons of little small batch goodness from me but consistently ODs and misses his sweet spot by a mile.

When i first started i bought a key of white sumatra from monk. Had no effects and fucked my tolerance all up. Its not saying much but i bet gaia and them use the same supplier of shit leaf. Happy i found this forum. I have a kilo of unopened gaia that im saving for fire wood from 3 years ago.

Yeah I almost fell into that trap as well. Thankfully I found this forum before making any huge orders from anywhere. Golden Monk is like the shoved down your throat mainstream vendor that everyone see's when they're googling Kratom. Hope you don't make anymore purchases like that, make sure to check out highly reviewed vendors on here.

I've noticed that any and all Green strains are actually quite useless. No euphoria, No high. It's probably just because its a "green variety".

You mean from Golden Monk specifically, right? Because "most green strains are useless in general" is absolutely not true. Though I guess it might be different if you take kratom to feel "high"

Yes, I noticed that, a lot of links go straight to their site. Before I had any idea what I was doing I ordered from them, one of my very first orders. I ordered Red Maeng Da because I read it was good for pain, and they didn't sell smaller sample sizes so I got 250 g. NOTHING! I still have it from a year and a half ago, I doubt it would be any different if I tried it now. I also ordered around that time from Mystic Island, another big mistake. I've tried so many vendors in a year and a half and many don't do much but thank goodness I found some that do. I just took a crap shoot on a new one I haven't tried nor heard of yet, am considering asking in the general discussion area as they don't come up on a search.
