Lucky Herbals New Green MD 122820 Batch

Just got to try the new batch of Green MD from Lucky. While I have only gotten to burn it once, I wanted to give my first impressions with it!

Speed-Midspec. This is not as energetic as some of the previous batches I have had, but that was a welcome surprise for me. Still keeps you moving, but its much more of a calm collected energy than a "get up and go" sort of feeling.

Pain-8/10. Knocked out my pain in my arthritic shoulder (have arthritis and was recently in a car accident that hit that same shoulder.. so this was put to the test lol) almost completely. On par with his previous batches as I've always found his green MD to be best for pain specifically out of his green offerings.

Moodlift-8.5/10. Very uplifting green! It had me smiling and happy. Moodlift is a very important category for me (I usually use kratom for help with depression/anxiety) so this was on point with my needs. I normally find that his green hulu is better for a moodlift, but this batch held its own quite well against my previous hulu batches. I think uplifting is the best word to describe this. It just is an overall feeling of wellbeing. Normally only slower strains give me this, but even though this one had a touch of energy, it still kept me in a good place.

Anxiety Relief-8/10. I was very calm while still holding on to the slight bit of energy this gave. I almost never use super fast leaf as I find it increases anxiety for me, so this was just about the right speed to still keep me calm. Greens tend to be hit and miss for this category for me, but along with the moodlift came a great deal of relief for my anxiety. It even gave me just a bit of that warm body heaviness that I love. For some reason, this tends to calm me down more so than the other effects of leaf, so if I don't get this feeling from a batch it ends up sitting in my drawer for awhile. This was just enough of it to help me, but not so much that it became overbearing like a red could.

Legs-7.5/10. This lasted roughly 2 hours, which is relatively normal for me but I would have liked it to go just a bit longer. It left me with a nice afterglow, but the real winner is that there was no crash. I tend to get crashes with mid to fast greens that end up making me depressed, but this one kept my mood up until it was time for me to take my next dose of the day. I would have loved to have gotten a little longer out of the peak, which is why my rating is a 7.5 and not an 8 (my gold standard rating), however, for with the quality of the effects, beggars can't be choosers lol.

Overall-8.25-8.5. I really enjoyed my first burn with this batch. It is almost exactly what I look for in a green personally. If you are looking for that fast get up and go feeling, this may not be for you. However, if you are like me and prefer your greens more on the mid side and more for the moodlift/anxiety side of things, this is a must try. The legs were the only thing that slightly held me back a bit but the peak effects were good enough to where that didn't really effect my overall score much. My tolerance is all over the place, and like I said I have only had one go with this one so far, so YMMV on its legs. I will update the thread after a few more tries (I like to give a day or two in between tests just to make sure I don't overdo it with one batch), but first impressions are great with it.

I missed out on most of his last drop, but the green hulu I did get and it was fantastic! That and the green md are always my favorites of his.

oh Man I gotta try this new GMD batch!! Tore my rotator cuff a couple weeks ago. Pain was horrible for days, now under control, but X-ray show some arthritis there & looks like I will be living with rehab and Phys Therapy for awhile. Nice review, Thanks for posting!!

I've been ordering from Lucky for several years now. Green MD and Green Hulu on point consistently. The trick with Green MD is to mix it with a fast, get up and go white. Green MD mixed with High Octane, White MD, or White Kapuas. Magical combination gets me through lifting heavy weights in the morning and then getting my ass kicked closing a busy restaurant at night on 5 to 6 hours of sleep. Also highly recommend Boreno Blast as a work kratom.

Arthritis sucks! I'm only 23 and already fighting it. I started lifting at 13 and played hockey for years.. I beat the hell out of my body. The green MD is one of the best greens I've had for pain. Normally I blend green and red for daytime pain but this took care of it! I'll have to try it mixed with a red too. I think it'll end up pretty slow, but I'm sure the pain relief will be fantastic. Definitely give this one a shot for it.

I received a sample of the Green MD from a previous batch and it’s one of the nicest strains I’ve ever had. It’s absolutely wonderful. A “true” mid-spec in every way. I’m going to order some more here shortly.
