mitraman green batak

Post by manimhungry »

great strain. hits hard and long legs. Interestingly, all MM's red strains are also the same color as his green strains.

I want to purchase Dennettes leaf.

strain color has nothing to do with the actual color of the powder. Best reds i have ever had have been bright green lol

Quite right. There was a time when red-colored powder didn't exist. I suspect producers wanted to cater to newbie expectations of seeing actual red when they ordered "Red" strains, and purposely started making powder red in some way or another. Although every time I've tried a red-colored powder, it's been very low-potency.

The Green Batak is becoming one of my go to greens lately. It is great alone, but lately I have been mixing it with his Green Thai and loving it.

I agree - the Green Batak is a really nice mid-spec-green and seems to blend well and lend some elevated mood :D

This one is quickly becoming a go-to favorite of mine. Not a speedy strain, more of a gentle build-up to wanting to get things done, because you feel so dang good! A nice, even keel, warm strain with a smooth comedown that seems to last forever.

I just happen to have both. I know we are different but I'll just say this sounds like an intriguing mixture. What I mean by different is lets say I partake probably 3X a day at 6-9grams a dose and stop before 6pm, I will assume that the dose alone changes things as well as someone's tolerance. We also might altogether experience the product different. Of course human beings differ on how they feel the effect on things ingested. However if we went by that what's the purpose of a leaving a review at all?

I think I'll try this mixture of choc bent and green batak! Honestly, I didn't find chocolate bentuagie or green batak worth writing a review for but isn't that the nature of the review? I also want to say that I used to take a whole less kratom and have read endlessly that less is more and it is! Patience ( refraining from it once in awhile) and being regimented in your dosing is pretty ideal for success in getting the best you can from your kratom. All the same, perhaps one day I will actually take the break I am really wanting to do and come back back and say, whoa add +2/3 points to my review! What if when someone is leaving a review they might add whether they use intermittently daily or weekly and whether there total desired effects are up to par due to their own tolerance to kratom. With that said, no mine is not! I want to lower my tolerance and yet I still have no idea whether or not you will experience the same effects or not. All the same, here is my review of green batak and I can come back and let you know about the mix.

I bought green batak, red horn, choc bent and gold borneo. I was most excited about the green batak due to what I read in this thread and find it the least effective next to the choc bent lol! I am probably a third thru my 125g buy of each. I don't actually want to say what I think it is on a scale yet because I really feel if I did take a break I would get more out of it. In all, it's okay. I find the pain relief from it is good but I would prefer a more enhanced feeling of a mood lift. It keeps me from being in pain at work but I noticed I have to take it a bit more often than I would like to for the desired effect of energy and pain relief.

Still trying to figure out posting here, so didn't mean to quote your entire reply. But anyway, I've noticed that with the choc bent I didn't get much the first time or in lower doses. But around 8-12 grams it seems to shine. It's a unique, really relaxing nice strain if you get the dosage right for you. Maybe worth noting that I dose very similar to what you described throughout the day

I feel like now I can do a more clear review having taken more of green batak, borneo and red horn.
I think my experience was a bit varied at times but I did feel the euphoric sensation I longed for from time to time from a "mitramanmix". I did get quite a bit of energy from both borneo and green batak. In all it was a good purchase.

Thanks Mitraman! Absolutely no regrets!

I really appreciate your insight. I was intrigued again and tried Mitra m's choc bent this afternoon. I feel like I am wasting it lol! I decided that I might hold unto what I have and put it on the trading post sometime for the later future. Let me know, Marka or GreatIam33, if you might want to trade sometime in the future.

I see its potential but its not for me.

I still have yet to try a chocolate bent (or any bent actually, haha) but I'm getting curious...

Mitraman's leaf hits so consistently for me. No guess work with the dosage, my normal 2.5-3g filtered tea always works; I was so impressed that after my first 500g order from him I went back and placed another. Really love his stuff.

His SuperGreen is always very good from what I hear! I have it but haven't given it a try just yet as I'm rotating vendors. But his Red Horn and Red Elephant have treated me very well, as far as reds go. Pain relief without being sedating.

I have Red Elephant and like it quite a bit, the other strain I have from mitraman is green batak and it seems to consistently put me in a bad mood for a little while. I've found that some strains do this to me, maybe I could mix them with something else for better results I don't want it to go to waste.

I have some grumpy strains too so I hear you. Batak is not one of them however! I think you should drop it on the trading post if you’re not able to round out those sharp edges with a blend. MM Green Batak has lots of fans, myself included.

I got this strain in the mail a few days ago. I have been experimenting. Kratom has changed for me recently. I was living off of all my last years dry season and my dosage was around 2 to 3 grams. Everytime ive bought new kratom this year the greens are super speedy . And i have to lower my dosage to amounts ive never used in my 3 years of kratom intake. With batak i cannot go over 1 gram. I feel a strong stimulant effect at .5 with this smaller dosage window small adjustments seem to make way more of a difference . Im sort of confused. I had been slowly trying to limit my intake however so maybe i have just been lowering my tolerence as well as this leaf being very potent.
Im having trouble finding my sweet spot and often i over shoot. I guess this is turning into a rant now. Any advice ?

This is definitely a difficult thing for many of us. For me **(this is conditional on person) there are many strains if I take at lower doses hit me fast and at higher doses hit me slow. The lower your dose is the more speedy the effects might be. Now I'm not suggesting going from 1 back to 3 grams, or even increasing. Your chemistry could have changed, many factors could be different. You might have to go through some new strains, because the ones you have just might be affecting you differently at that dose. You might have to find some slower strains that are still slow for you at that dose.

This is just me 2 cents, which could mean nothing, as everyone is different. Best way is safe experimentation, and what you just did - ask for some advice (keeping in mind they are often opinions and personal experience) or look through the forum to see anyone with similar dosing and experience. I'm sure there's a few people around here that might have gone through very similar situations. I did think the g Batak was a faster strain. If you take .5 gram higher - do you get nauseas , wobbles?

Have you tried making tea ? Or do you toss and wash?

There are so many different variables . If you t n w I would try strained tea, and most recommend for strained tea anywhere from 1.25 - 2x your normal dose, but the good thing about tea is you could brew 3 g of tea and drink 1/3 then another 1/3 for desired results, tea had a faster onset too,

If I were to take a stab in the dark it could be your body reacting to the plant matter, but it very well may not be. If it is yea will be a lifesaver for you , and if it’s not it doesn’t hurt. I just got mm Supergreen and had his last batch and it is strong, but I can still take comfortable at my avg dose without wobbles.

Another option is to just put the Batak to the side for now and revisit it later. It sounds like you have a pretty sensitive system, so I would err on the side of caution when making adjustments. An increase of .10 g is a 10% increase of a 1g average dose.

There really are so many factors - could be unrelated to leaf, and the leaf just reacts with the actual cause or irritates it, could be GI, could be neuro. If you’re not already - make sure you’re drinking lots and lots of water, following good practices , supplements, especially for digestion.

C.hex#817 I did just heard from someone with a lot of experience that he uses magnolia bark with those strains sometimes and it is a hep in those situations.

Might be worth a try.

I have been taking quite a bit more than the other commenter who said he lowered his dose, about three times more to be exact. I am going to try a small amount in the middle of the day after I've already taken a red in the morning. If that doesn't work, I will look into getting some of the bark. I am going to read up on it either way though! Thanks for the recommendation.

Fused flora has some great alternative plants , I just got In some of their mag bark and blue lotus, just make sure you figure out dosing, you don’t want to take those at the same amts of Kratom, someone suggested starting at 0.25g mag and working your way up to 0.5/g if you need to. I am not the most educated on these but also have heard most people suggest regulating how often it’s used, (like don’t make it an everyday thing).

Ff does a discount if you get 5x100s so if you plan on grabbing it from them, not sure if you’ve had them, but I grabbed a few strains with them. I’ve really enjoyed the wild g kaps and red jk. The owner is also extremely nice and helpful and passionate about his product, which is always a plus (and usually one of the biggest things that I look for with a vendor). There’s others out there I’m sure people could offer recs for if you need them, they are just the only ive personally ordered.

Hope it helps!

Curious to why there hasn't been any talk of mitra man lately he was on fire the last two years i have some new green batak and pmd on the way i will post reviews later he has always had good leaf and I can't help but wonder if part of not hearing anything about him is because he doesn't use extreme exotic names like og raging wild river jong kong 12 or power plantation 7 i really think names draw attention to the vendors i like how he keeps it simple myself i have a hard enough time pronouncing his strains all though I will say some of these vendors running sequel strain names like bad 80s horror flicks have been pretty good

I just tried MM's Green Batak. Hit hard and quick and has a very fast feel to it. My tolerance is pretty high and this hit almost a bit too hard. I tried 3gs as this is my usual dose level across the board. I'll use the Green Batak to spike up some of my weaker leaf but frankly, this packs too much of a punch. Not complaining, just sayin'...
