Re: Texas Family Harvest
Okay so this is TFH. Every time I come on here I see a mention of TFH and now I know what it is. Been with a vendor for nearly 2 years now and my wife is kicking my ass on trying something else because she hasn't been happy with the kratom in a long time. It's gotten so bad she's been going to head shops around town trying to find stuff, killing my dang wallet. I'm trying to save up for a damn video card! Looks like this is an invite-only website? Hope it opens up soon!

Re: Texas Family Harvest
I ordered 4.2 Kilos for myself last May, the best decision I've made. I'm on my last scoop tonight, may sound like a lot to burn through in 8 months with one person, but tea is a godsend for my chronic pain. Before it, opiates were my only option. Sure they were prescribed, but even then, being on them long-term, tolerance, withdrawal, it's a nightmare. I don't think vendors always realize or get recognized enough for how much their work is helping people get by in life. I had my second open-heart surgery, at 28, this August, and I spent the week in the hospital on a pain pump. When I got home I didn't even hesitate to throw out the opiates and go for the tea. Helped me more than any drug could. I can't thank you enough for providing a well priced and consistent product. Running out tonight, and seeing that an open event may be happening soon has me excited. Going to attempt to do a little detox, since I usually burn a couple of times a day; I'm sure my tolerance is up a bit. If the pain rebounds too much, I guess gas station tea will be my option in the meantime, but can't wait for an announcement or even another raffle to become a customer!gumbyke1 wrote:Our most recent round of testing has closed. Happy Holidays!

Re: Texas Family Harvest
Tyl3rM, I also have chronic pain and though I have not had open heart I have had 2 heart attacks and have 7 stents though I am older at 60. I am new to reading and posting on DM and wanted to ask what you use from TFH for pain. I tried greens, yellow and white a few times 8-10 years ago and made my heart race so I have stuck with reds (slow) only since then. I know I have probably missed out on a lot of green, yellow and whites that would have worked for pain so I will even consider some of them if I just buy a small amount. I have gotten a few sample packs on Trading post in route to me (including a couple of yellow and white) at this time but have been compiling a list of what I would like to get when TFH has their open sale. Any recommendations? Anyone else on ideas of what to get from TFH?

What's the Wild Gold Sumpur like?? I have gotten a few "Sumpur" strains in the past from TFH and they were always some of the best on the menu at the time.Corde32 wrote:Any of the current tfh reds and wild gild sumpur would be great for you!dfellows5 wrote:Tyl3rM, I also have chronic pain and though I have not had open heart I have had 2 heart attacks and have 7 stents though I am older at 60. Thanks for your interest! Sorry for being so in the dark with a timeline. We had hoped to do an event around the holidays, but it just didnt pan out. We have been testing a TON of products over the past 2-3 months in preparation for the wet season - so it has kept us very busy.
Ideally, we would like to try and hold an event sometime in Q1. I think we should probably be able to announce something in the coming weeks. Thanks!

Hey gumbyke...is it gum-byke or gumby-ke? I never know how to pronounce it
Anyway, feel free to hold off on doing an event until later this month or March, just so I'll have money again haha.

You should fill out surveys for all of these. Chris has some algorithm to determine which strains would most likely "hit" for you based on what did and didn't love in the past, which is really helpful when determining what to order at the next event.Tyl3rM wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 7:30 pmMellow Yellow PMD: BIRA-21dfellows5 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 4:32 pm Tyl3rM, I also have chronic pain and though I have not had open heart I have had 2 heart attacks and have 7 stents though I am older at 60. Also, SSV stands for Sans Stem & Vein I believe, so there isn't any in the ones that have SSV in the name.

WOW Greyfeather! I never thought of that LOl and to everyone thanks for the suggestions. I have bought several samples from people on trading post and am trying them as fast as possible so I have an idea on what vendors have what. So far TFH Bali Blast has been outstanding and the other have all been above average.Greyfeather wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 2:52 amTRY REDS!dfellows5 wrote:Tyl3rM, I also have chronic pain and though I have not had open heart I have had 2 heart attacks and have 7 stents though I am older at 60. Unfortunately, I’d say that probably 90% of those strains listed above are no longer available. Look around, ask around, and I’m sure someone here could point you in the right direction for recommendations when the time comes

Re: Texas Family Harvest
For those wanting advance info on strains for the upcoming open house, I just tried one of Chris's new strains, Super Green Supreme. Unlike his other strains, which usually takes an hour to kick in, this one hits in no more than 4 minutes. It is indeed strong as you'd expect from its name. 1g was almost too overwhelming as my 3rd daily dose. I'll add new info tomorrow if it's the same on a new day in the morning. This is definitely an exceptional strain. Greens that hit this hard often make good nighttime strains. The sleepies I'm experiencing are incredibly strong. Exceptional mood elevation.
Update: So I've tried the Super Green Supreme multiple times. It's so incredibly strong! I tried blending it with TFH Red Dayak 2g & 0.5g Super G. That was a mistake. I didn't get wobbles, but my heart started racing & it felt like the worst kind of overstimulation - sweating, fidgety, anxiety, headache with stabbing head pains - really nasty. It basically is a highly stimulating strain, which is what I expected. My son loves it straight, 2g. I could never do that. From my experimenting, it seems best in doses half what you take normally & all by itself, especially in the morning. It can really heighten the end of other strains, meaning 3-4 hours after dosing a different strain, then take a dose of this. It makes the first strain's effects return & last another 4 hours or more. I know this strain is a green, but its effects are more like a very strong white.

Could i try a sample? This lady on Facebook just said you were tied for her #1 with Liza's Botanicals! I love that you put the suggested serving size, and treat it as a dietary supplement.
Lets just say my wife has been skeptical at times.
Would love to order from you in the future if i could! in the meantime, would love any samples you'd be willing to send.

Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers! Thankfully we only had some rolling blackouts and some short-lasting water boil warning.... we didnt experience anything like what you read about on the news. We were touched by how many of you reached out to check us, I'm continually blown away by how supportive the folks in this community are. What an awesome place this is.
