  • Smiley Time's Super Green Smile
    1:1 Nodfather WGK + Benni's Batak
2:1 Heavenleaf Rose Gold + Fused Flora Green Borneo
    Smiley Time Premium Red Vein

I'll say it again here, new Smiley stuff exceeded expectations. The SGS didn't pack the same punch as the 3 I tried yesterday, but I haven't had so much luck with other 'smile' batches either. That G Zareena (anyone know if its the same as the Legendary ?) and Dark Elephant Aceh womped me in a great way.

What prompted a 2:1 mix for that particular burn? Also, when you list it like that, is it a 1g to 1g ratio burn?

Thanks...and I hope new STH is in a sample set soon.

different ratios for different effect profiles....a little more red than green has a more body-feel, i think. also I dont have much left of this little ounce bag of Green Borneo, so instead of finishing the bag I left some for another blend :)

1:1 is just ratios....equal parts. usually my dose is a steady 5 grams. so, 2.5 and 2.5 . so, for the 2 to 1, its 3 grams to 2 grams. having a scale really helps with this sort of blending

I mixed it myself. I had Green, Red, and White, Stem and Vein from Tea Time Botanicals, Stem and Vein from Soflo (looked like Tea Time's White) and Stem and Vein from Otie's Botanicals (I'd call it Green). I mixed those up equally.

I took two parts of that blending to two parts Tea Time Botanicals Hirsuta, to one part Tea Time Botanicals Javanica.

Btw, they're running a post Columbus Day sale, according to the email I received.
USE CODE "CDAY" NOW THROUGH MIDNIGHT MONDAY FOR 15% OFF ALL PRODUCTS.
Though Fused Flora's prices on Hirsuta and Javanica are pretty unbeatable.

P.S. I even have a bag of a lot of odds and ends Kratom from sample packs, plus some kick ass Green Hulu I have a lot of, that I blended together. Into that I added some of the premix I mentioned above. Lol, it's a really easy way to just drop some Kratom on the scale, though I avoid the temptation to overuse it, and thus have it seem stale.

This afternoon I went with TFH White Horn: AT5Z. The TFH whites have gotten better and better over the past year in my opinion. LOVE this one so far. Very clear focus and mental stimulation. Not super energetic but still fast as this batch seems to be more mental than physical. The exact suppliment for my needs today. Excellent White!!

You could start making a Kratom version of Mulligan stew.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulligan_stew_%28food%29

An important part of the legend of Mulligan Stew is left out of the article though. The legend is based on truth, in that when hobos broke camp several of them would take some of the stew to their next camps, and it would act as a "starter stew" from which a new batch would get built. Therefore, legend has it, some hobo camps claim that they have a stew that goes back decades, or even hundreds of years, or even back to the mists of time, when the first hobos had their first camp.

Take a bit of Kratom from everything you have that isn't part of your primo stash, and blend it together. Also use your left over bits from the samples you've gotten. Into that also mix a few dashes of your best stuff.

Use just enough so that the bag can last you several months. After you use about half of it, rebuild it with whatever you've gotten since you last whipped it together.

Use it infrequently, and after a while the contents can be thought of as existing in something like a quantum state. "Schrödinger's Kratom", in that since you have no firm idea of what's in the bag, though you know some it is excellent, you have no way to predict how it will work with you. The stuff can become "magic", because your frame of mind will have a lot to do with determining its effects. If you have a positive attitude when you open the bag, the Kratom can give you energy when you need it, or pain relief, be soothing and relaxing, or some combination of the above.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr%C3%B6dinger%27s_cat

I'm getting close to when I'll want to freshen up my bag. I used an old Bulk Supplements Glutamine kilo bag (though I only filled it a quarter of the way), and I stuck a label on it where I wrote "MOAB", for Mother Of All Blends. :)

This time around, in addition to my new partly used samples and Green Hulu, I'm going to use several varieties of my most relaxing or uplifting stuff.

^^^ yeah. I have never heard of anyone doing that blending routine, Babel. I would be fearful of headaches or just too much counteractive stuff. If it works it works! I also havent ever heard of people simultaneously taking hirsuta, jav, and leaf all together like you do as some have reported it renders the kratom less strong/noticeable. Keep rocking your Schrodinger's Blend though

Hirsuta and javanica work well together, but inhibit kratom.

Tonight its 2:1 TFH Wild Harvest Red PMD with TFH 30 year Wild Yellow MD. Very chill but not sedating. Excellent mood boost. Probably took this a little too late. This is more of a 7PM blend to enjoy the entire evening VS a batch to aid in counting sheep.

Yes, yes and hell yes!! I am down. I am a fan of this.

Ya know...all of those naysayers will be upset when, 8 years from now, our super bag of power mix starts turning heads in this very thread, page 921. Someone will have gotten a hold of "some of that bomb ass Super Shrödi Mulligan" and start trading it in small ass amounts. It will have legs long as Tina Turner, mood lift like a much needed lay and sedation through and through...truly the leaf of legend.

What a shame!! Only Babel and I will know the recipe.

What the fuck is wrong with me?!

Today I've so far gone with Kratom that would work on my head space. Soflo Yellow Viet Nam, Gold Leaf Botanicals wild grown Dark Red MD, and just a short while ago some Gold Leaf Botanicals Green Riau. Next up will be Texas Family Harvests Green Hangat Suma V.S.O.P.: IRCA-7. I figure smaller serving sizes helps keep the emphasis on the positive mood rather than the pain relief.

Maybe this deserves its own thread, but what's the REAL down low on hirsuta? I see a bunch of anecdotes claiming it works, but I've also seen some say it contains no Mitra or anything psychoactive. So once and for all, is it placebo or what? I haven't seen anything definitive on this, maybe it doesn't exist because it hasn't been studied scientifically?

Yeah, probably best discussed in depth in another thread.

But for a quick look, here's two links.

https://epickratom.com/mitragyna-hirsuta/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitraphylline

I think that Mitraphylline is, or is part of, the source of what can give "the wobbles" when consumed past a certain point. But before that amount, it has some benefits. I wouldn't consider using even near the amounts of Hirsuta sometimes discussed, (I use about 250 mg. a day) except maybe as part of resetting a heavy tolerance to Kratom. Mitraphylline is in Cat's Claw/Uncaria Tomentosa, which Dr. Atkins in his guide to Vita-Nutrients mentioned as being considered by some as the closest thing we have to a universal panacea. Too bad he didn't live to see Kratom become popular. Edit 2: I used to take it, but I stopped ordering it, probably because I was using Hirsuta.

Edit: I want to emphasize that taking the amounts of Hirsuta that get sometimes get talked up, and are referenced in the article I linked to, are also known to come with a risk of side effects like dizziness, and/or "the wobbles". I'd consider that side effect nearly guaranteed if taking the potent Hirsuta that's available, in high amounts.

I'm really pleased with how while it helps with energy, and pain/inflammation relief, it went to work right away with the general feeling of anxiety that's so common these days.

This evening is turning out to be a good one with a little help from TFH. Went with 1.5g of 30YR Wild Yellow Maeng Da -IR-7 + 2g of Wild White Samarinda. Great mood with some motivation. Not edgy at all. Hitting in all the right places for me.

Sounds like a fun blend :)

How is that Wild Ivory Indo, Cbest? I've been curious about that one and the Wild White Vietnam; i think they're the only two recent TFH whites that I haven't tried.

Leaves of Eden Green Blood + Super Green 2. Great first burn of the day. So far LoE has been hit or miss for me, I like the greens but have been unimpressed by the reds, which are red labai and premium red pure. It's a new vendor so I'll keep trying, I know sometimes the transition period is not totally indicative of the quality of the leaf. It's also just a snapshot of his leaf, I only got 5 strains out of the 50+ he has in stock, so I don't want to dissuade anyone from this vendor.

So a little over a year ago my husband and I both started taking kratom. Originally my dose avg was 3g. This worked for a while, but then I started to feel it less. So I would take a tolerance break here and there throughout the week. This helped pretty well, and allowed me to start lowering the doses (I've heard, less is more). So I've lowered my doses slowly but surely. Now I'm down to 1.5g in the morning and 1.6 in the afternoon. My doses are seeming to feel even stronger now. I'm determined to keep my doses low but this morning's dose of PRP Leaves Of Eden almost made me pass out, so I had to eat and drink some coffee to balance it out. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you handle such a thing? I've been thinking about switching it up to Hirsuta in the morning and Kratom in the afternoon. What are y'alls thoughts?

What are y'alls thoughts?
happens a lot with a dose that low 1.5-1.6 awesome, at 1.8 a strong batch can turn it to puke city. I usually like ginger, it seems to settle it down a bit. Hirsuta is great, FF has a really good one right now, LOE and HL are solid too. Though, if I overdo hirsuta, to me it's way worse sickness than kratom though; but on the flip side it does keep me below 2g too.
