I am not sure if this is the right spot for this >> Review from a FB group ..by an experienced user ..this is not mine >> So last night I took the strain Yellow Elephant from the brand Affinity and I was so terrified, I took 4grams of it and I felt like I was tripping (don’t laugh react till you read the whole post) I remember the women I bought it from mentioned “psychedelic effects” but I’ve never had that experience from kratom and I’ve been taking all different strains and brands for 3 years. I took it about an hour before bed and wow do I regret that. I was so freaked out, the ceiling was breathing and moving, the pictures I had on the walls were swinging (subtly) every time I closed my eyed to try to sleep it was super colorful and there were designs. It wasn’t a full-on trip like acid or anything, but I feel like I could relate it to taking a small dose of mushrooms) and it scareddddd me omg. Was not expecting that at all. I was thinking to myself “did someone drug me??” But that wouldn’t be possible because I’ve just been either alone or with my boyfriend all day. I couldn’t believe that this specific bag of kratom could do that! Took me forever to fall asleep.
(I have a general anxiety disorder and panic disorder to anything that doesn’t feel “normal” cause really really scare me)
Eventually, I fell asleep and I’m fine now but wow I’ll never take that again!
Also, I feel the need to mention that my experience is valid and I’m not a person who would write up a post to lie or gain attention. I’m sharing my experience so maybe we can all learn something from this or even have a discussion on it. Don’t be immature on my posts or I’ll delete it and block you. We all share the same love in kratom, and we should respect each other.

Hi Erin nope never heard of this Affinity, is that a Retail "brand" ?? always some crazy stuff happening in those FB groups ya know
Back "In the Day" I smoked tons of weed, these days I no longer smoke but the super potent Cannabis does cause anxiety, paranoia, etc & Many people I know agree with this and avoid THC, seems totally different than the Mexican buds of 30 years ago? So... just thinkin' maybe they adulterated this product with THC ?? according to AKA there is a problem with spiked kratom.. which I don't really buy, But, If that were a problem it would be found in Retail head-shop brand products.

Wow that sucks I'm sorry. Who knows what happened but there are lots of adulterated products for sale at head shops, gas stations, etc. Often research chemicals that aren't technically illegal. I don't think kratom is spared from that.
I have panic disorder and know that would be terrible. Glad you were able to sleep it off. I'd recommend sticking to more well known brands, preferably purchased online!

I smoked a lot of pot and thai sticks in my day ..also much LSD, shrooms and mescaline ...I had to stop smoking because I did get paranoid,, But I never hallucinated off any THC.. I sure miss hash and hash oil though !!

Yep I have extreme high anxiety and anger issues ...I know many people are microdosing now for depression and such .. but tripping hard is just too much especially if one does not know its coming ...Oh this company has a FB page . https://www.facebook.com/Affinity-Krato ... 534780001/
