Benni Botanicals New "Lida" Strains Review
Benni dropped some new strains and its time for a review! Buckle up, because these are bangers.
Starting off with the Green Lida-
Fast or Slow?- Mid to mid-fast. This one was a touch of energy but not too much. A great morning type of green
Pain Relief-8/10- It knocked out my arthritis pain in my shoulder and hip quite well. Top notch relief for a green.
Moodlift-8.5/10. This is where this one shined for me. I was smiling on this at work all day long. It even had a nice afterglow as the effects were starting to fade. This is a good one if you know you're going to be having an extra tough day.
Anxiety Relief-6.5/10. This was helpful, but this was the weakest link for the kratom experience for me. It helped, and did the job, but it wasn't the knockout level of something like his super green in terms of killing anxiety. Still, slightly above average for me.
Legs-7/10. This was also the other downfall for me, it only lasted a little while. It was only about a half hour shorter than what I am used to, but the afterglow is what really did it for me. I was feeling good for a good 4 hours after dosing which is unusual for me. Peak effects were pretty average at just shy of 2 hours but that afterglow was great. It was also very slow to come on. A creeper, one might say. Took about an hour to hit but once it did it was like a switch flipped. It went 0 to 100 real quick.
Overall-8/10. This one meets my benchmark of high quality leaf. While the legs and anxiety relief was a slight setback, the potency of the moodlift and pain killing really impressed me. This is one if you know you're having a bad day (pain or mentally) you can rest assured it will take care of you. If you're looking for the longest lasting anxiety relief, I would probably look more to the next strain I'm going to review.
Next up- Red Lida
Fast or slow?-SLOW. Enough said
Pain Relief-8.5/10. Great pain relief on this one, I would say better than average for a red. Helped immensely. Definitely a strength of this one.
Moodlift-8.5/10- This one kept me in a great place for the whole ride and I was actually much more talkative with my girlfriend while eating dinner on this than I normally am. Really impressed me.
Anxiety Relief-8.5/10-Damn near knocked out all of my anxiety (which is a hard thing to do) for most of the duration of the burn. I know all of these ratings are consistent, but this one deserves it.
Legs-7.5/10-Good legs on this one. About on par with most of my heavy hitter reds, and good relief for a reasonable duration is all I could ever ask for.
Overall-8.25- I enjoy this strain a lot, and have used it a few times now and it is consistent. It provides relief in so many ways and really encompasses a well-rounded kratom experience to me. It checked all of my boxes.
Now, the last one, which is the real MVP....
Yellow Lida
Fast or Slow?-Mid and balanced. Not really energizing, not really sedating, just pure relief.
Pain Relief-9/10-Killed my pain better than most. It is all I could ever ask for from kratom.
Moodlift-9/10-Smiles, all smiles. If you're feeling down, or just want to feel your best, this is a great option. Its extremely uplifting.
Anxiety Relief-9/10-Astonishingly great anxiety relief for not being slow leaf. Kept anxiety at bay for the entire duration of the burn and afterglow, which is not normal for me.
Legs-8.5/10-Lasted for a good while for me. Peak effects were just over 2 hours with a gradual come down that was incredibly smooth. The anxiety and pain relief stayed for a solid 4 hours. I can't complain here at all.
Overall-9/10- I was blown away by how much I enjoyed this, and have used it multiple times now and it truly does encompass the full kratom experience without jittering you out or putting you to sleep. This blend is something special. I would caution that I wouldn't use it at night time or near sleep, because while it is not that stimulating, I don't think I could sleep within a few hours of taking this. But daytime, it is pretty much everything I look for in a burn. Benni nailed this blend. I have found that most of benni's leaf is good on its own, but becomes something great when blended properly, and this is no exception. The lida strains all hold their place as standalones, but this blend truly brings out the best of each and gives you the proper experience. I have been using kratom daily for a long time and have quite a tolerance, but this has broken through that tolerance every time without problems. I can't recommend it enough.

Great reviews, I've been checking Benni's to see when he gets more in as I missed out on the Teku, and I know he needs to get caught up because I looked for yellows and it says zero available under the yellows BUT then I saw it under All Products and now after reading this I must get some before it's all gone again!
