Re: Coronavirus discussion
Guys , just wanted to update on my plant BMW, so A shift started few weeks ago, and B shift just now. Which i am B shift. Someone played a joke on me and i believed them from A shift. I have never seen anything so strict, and all the new rules BMW has. They even pulled out the break room tables all over BMW, it looked like 15 feet apart instead 6 feet. Weird. And you cant walk into BMW if you have no mask. I can understand why they so strict and need to be open, its supports 80% of economy in SC, right? i could be wrong but i know its a big chunk. So everything has to be done by the books. Even schedules are changed. Felt very awkward wearing the mask, even thought was my first time since the CV started but i have no choice, have to get paid somehow. Hours are slashed thought, since short on parts since its coming from all over the world but hey at least something helps.
Also did you guys get your second stimulus check $1,200? Our plant is 100% hardcore democrats. And no one knew about it only few people. I guess it never makes it to the news? I don't know. Some already received the money at work. I wonder if they go by last name, and slowly send direct deposit or something? any one knows how it works? I hope this helps out people so they don't loot stores or destroy small business. Very sad whats going on right now.
also did someone say they work at this cheesecake factory? https://youtu.be/Fou847IYTCA?t=362

No way, a second stimulus check has not been issued to the public. I have been following this pretty closely.
If you have some hard facts to back this claim up, I would honestly love to read them. But there is none yet. If a second stimulus package passes, which it still may, it has not happened yet. Congress is still deliberating. you can't blame this on Democrats because some hardcore Republicans like Mitch McConnell have backed this since the beginning (a few months ago.)
Let's not politicize the coronavirus.

Brave, if your co-workers got checks it's because they didn't get direct deposits earlier on. Not because there was a second payment issued.

I read it off forbes from chrome web browser, it shows random news , i can go history and snap it the picture for you if you would like? as soon as i read it, co-worker said he got a second check already.

I know I am not blind, i know what i saw. Here the pics i snapped for ya'll unbelievers. It was posted on forbes on 5-30-20 , so i guess some people already got it. I did read some where it takes around a week to complete money transfer? could be wrong.
All that work i did and all i had to do is go to https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonbrett ... cade75339b
Seems like Trump finely doing something. I am sure a lot can use this money now. Just pulled my car from the shop and this def going to help me out. Just wonder when I will see it. For some of ya'll i bet will start making kratom batch list to buy.

A second stimulus package has not been passed by Congress. if and when one does get passed you will most certainly know. Until then, wait on the facts.
That Forbes article poses everything as "would be", like a hypothetical if one gets passed.

Sorry, Hun.
No, you aren't blind, but something got lost in translation (happens to all of us):
"As Congress debates a bill that would send a second round of economic stimulus payments..."
Congress is still debating the possibility of a second stimulus check. It hasn't been passed or signed yet. Actually, I think there's a possibility. The One Percenters have been showing us their asses for so long, Trump had better do this if he wants to even come close to placating his base (I'm not a follower, but hell yes, I'll take a check).
Your co-worker who think they have been paid twice? Maybe there's a Coronavirus Fairy out there. If so, I'll send them my address

Here's an article from today that explains where we're at now with the second stimulus. it hasn't even come close to passing yet because the bill isn't finished, and if it does happen we might not see any money until closer to the end of the year.

Shoulda woulda coulda. Bills didn’t quit coming after the last checks...
I’m familiar with that hugely uncomfortable feeling of walking in to my fairly huge business (West Marine home base) warehouse job for the first day after the 1989 earthquakes and I felt physically ILL. I was the shuttle because nobody else could get their chit, gas and a car together. We were the only car driving over these huge cracks in the pavement. The disaster is obviously incomparable except both of these disasters HAVE NO END to look forward to. That messed me up. My dad had died earlier that year and I got through that. But I couldn’t just “act like normal” as I was told. I let everyone know they hafta find a ride home and I left. Sick. The boss put that in my file and soon after that, I packed and moved to no place, CA (Quincy) to recover.
It’s not about me. I just totally get the weird feeling and energy being off/different after having been gone for so long...
I have been waiting for that stimulus check Phase 2 discussion, but Trump is too busy tweetin some chit about news broadcasters n stuff. Who has time?

Re: Coronavirus discussion
DISCLAIMER/CORRECTION: eventually the aftershocks stopped and eventually we got PG&E to inspect every gas line in every home and things stabilized and EVENTUALLY rebuilt. Some did. Some didn’t. Like this COVID-19, the end is nowhere in sight. And some businesses will rebuild and some will not. The scope of the world as we knew it is suddenly vanished. That’s a sign of a HUGE disaster. We don’t know what the losses ARE ... yet.
Sorry for the morbid thoughts today. I’ll try a green vein and catch up with y’all soon!

Hey everybody! Hope you all are staying healthy! We've had 4 cases at the factory I work in, and several people were quaranteed that came in close contact with them.
What concerns me is that they let the people who tested positive come back to work once their symptoms were gone without testing them and making sure they were negative. I thought that was standard procedure, to test negative twice before being released to come back?
Only about 25% of the employees here are wearing masks. I think everyone is becoming complacent and that worries me. And don't get me started on hazard pay, which we are NOT GETTING!!

Fear is the biggest sin and the most effective weapon at this day and age. It drains you off energy, its steals your emotions to think strait. It brings stress, it kills you.MetalMamaRocks wrote:Hey everybody! Hope you all are staying healthy! I will bring you few examples, when i was little and didnt want to go to school i faked that my stomach hurt or a headache. I acted so well that it came to fruition and hurt the spot i focus on. Why dont the news finely talk about about The power of mind? there is tons of great info on this subject. I am just pissed that at this day and age 2020 there is no education on TV but all over TV all you see is FEAR.
Another example when i did get sick, i learned how to heal it, i went and found good compilation of funny videos and by the time the videos were done, i felt full of energy and happy and way ready to carry the day and didnt even realize i was sick to begin with. learn how to heal your self, this is just one example, there is alot of good things you can do your change your mood.
If you focus on FEAR you will get sick and you will DIE... Because you cant think any better and that is ALL your thinking is fear is catching rona? DId you know usually what ever you fear will happen? Until the news tells you its safe to take off the mask? are you kidding your selfs? That will never happen, it will go only deep into rabbit hole, after rona, riots, the DAM breaking in cali? and many more things will unfold. will you let the fear rule you or you rule over fear? The choice is yours.
I really wish people would spend 5 min in meditation and focus all the good things to start their days off. We even not thankful for the all the good things we have being stuck in fear. Mean while many parts of the world there is many who dont make it every day because not even one rice to be found. I think we need more doctors who can heal the Fear syndrome because i have a feeling people will start falling dead soon. Not until we change our ways and minds.
EDIT: Synergy? later that day someone else talks about fear, i am glad people are picking up on FEAR.

Re: Coronavirus discussion
Hey @metalmamarocks and @brave777,
Y’all both have valuable perspectives from different viewpoints on the numerous issues all occurring at one time. I’m just tossing in another perspective, hope that’s ok. I really appreciate those views - thanks!
Metalmamarocks, thanks for posting about some of that absolutely deplorable disregard for the workers at the plant. They clearly have paid off OSHA and or any other authorities related to safe working in a COVID world. I would never have expected to hear about it if you hadn’t mentioned it. I didn’t read about too much fear being portrayed in your post, but rather disappointment in fellow man of your workplace. It’s a disgrace! (The post before yours may have been what BRAVE777 was referring to!). While I happen to think the masks are probably completely bullchit if there’s an infection nearby, I wear mine as a sign of consideration of others. No other reason. It’s my new way of being kind to the as$holes I don’t know or care about while in their same space in businesses or wherever being closer to others is a possibility.
I would expect the same to be a minimum requirement in a workplace environment. Not because it’s some miraculous salvation from COVID. Mutual respect and consideration is not so phreaking hard as a “wear a mask” rule being enforced. And the rules for those having had been ill, I’m not sure what would be appropriate, but the ‘not much information’ you’re getting from work is really awful and not a big confidence builder. Sad.
The truth about outbreaks is seemingly being kept quiet just like how it started with the dr in Wuhan China who spotted it being warned, punished, fined, penalized for warning authorities of the problem and eventually dropping dead himself as proof of the dam thing. Our country is as disappointing to me in how it’s also kept COVID infections/outbreaks on the “hush hush” except for benign numbers released to the public, based on inaccurate nonsense (Not picking political fights). BRAVE777, here’s where your points are so accurate. So many people are scared to leave their homes EVER AGAIN because of this insanity. If people were not scared ENOUGH YET, throw in some rioting. Any businesses that were considering reopening can kiss those plans goodbye and soon we will have Amazon or NUTHIN and I dread that day..yeah, I’m scared of that day. It’s coming. You got me, @BRAVE777.
The interesting connection to this website discussion otherwise is where you reminded us about getting what you fear. Or as my mom always said, “be careful what you wish for”. Ain’t that the truth.
Some of which can even be compared within the kratom industry. What people SAY can often be much more important than product quality.
Some guys start at 20 grams a pop because they are big dudes and require higher amounts of everything including kratom. Even those who have never touched it before, kratom virgins. They absolutely cannot be convinced to give even one try to a smaller dose because they will only get results at the amount they decide they need. You got me here, too, BRAVE777. What the mind decides, becomes reality. There is a lot of placebo effect goin on within the industry we love. If we expect good results, chances are better for good results than if we have been told it’s probably bunk.
I’m really appalled about your working conditions, metalmamarocks. Thank you for risking your life on luck (and corporate stupidity and ignorance) by returning to work so a few companies will be left besides Amazon. I cannot even hold a full time job, personally, so I’m always happy to hear how others function well enough to join society, often in thanks to some degree, to kratom. This includes everyone, all y’all on this forum are doing more for all of us on some level. Even I’m lucky enough to represent a pretty good vendor with pretty good products so I can earn a few bucks. That is in thanks to kratom.
We’re starting to hear about businesses opening up again here....and their upcoming demise into history. Riots or no.
It’s really hard to focus clearly in this world of complete uncertainty, unrest, AND FEAR. I sure agree about making efforts to avoid fear because it is also fatal! Took me a million years to learn that one. Anger stems from fear. So that’s where our phucking ANGER was fueled with (over a long long period of time here. Separate discussion), before the current unrest caught fire (it’s so incredibly sad to have racism in 2020)
All of this anger stems from fear and we must do our best to process our fear and help our loved ones process it because it’s very seriously as fatal as COVID-19 if left to quell.
In the short version of this reply to this topic, I’m saying, “ain’t that the truth? Y’all are so right”. But I felt like letting go of these thoughts that stemmed from reading your posts. So much less is left brewing in my noggin tonight. Thanks for having me among y’all. Best wishes for all, stay safe, smile under the masks, hugs n stuff,
Laurie

How are you doing, MetalMama? Since I read your post I can't stop thinking of the fix you are in. Sure, it's a pain to wear a mask all day. Really! Healthcare workers are doing 12+ hour shifts in them (god bless). I hope I don't seem like a weirdo when I write that wearing a mask for hours kinda calms me (may be a little carbon dioxide - NOT dangerous). Can you forward a complaint to the "higher ups?" Give us an e-mail address so that WE can complain (anonymously) to the 'higher ups'???MetalMamaRocks wrote:Hey everybody! Hope you all are staying healthy! Please keep us updated. Let us know what's going on... If you start to feel ill, see an increase in call-in sick. Things CAN change from the "bottom up." My thoughts are that it's a shame that we didn't see this coming sooner (thanks Trump for nothing). Workers could have organized and refused to be "played."
Hell, I have gone without toilet paper for a couple of months and I don't eat pork (or any other meat). I don't know what you LABOR gives us (thank you), but surely we can go without in order to keep you safe.
Keep us posted, ok?

Re: Coronavirus discussion
Sad part we got people in doing heavy jobs and sweating like pigs and have to cut their Co2 oxygens offs, some faint , go home, no problem they put another number in. I helped few people out by telling them they need more co2 or they will have health issues. Gladly all listen and peak their nose out once in a while./ i cant help them all but i just hope they dont get blamed for CV for fainting from cut off oxygen. 10 hours with a mask, i get rashes and weird shit popping up, i can only imagine what many are going trough. Sure i get dizzy spells but thats from working hard none stop and smelling my lunch mouth, yumm... Honestly we all need to put pressure and complain to higher ups, then higher ups will have to say to those who made this mess people had enough! Ididnt even know you could be exempt from wearing a mask if you have breathing issues, and i am still surprised allot dont know about it. Everyone should go to the doctor and get the papers, masks are their to not infect others and just that. but if you already have issues with lungs and breathing or over weight, see if you can get an exempt papers from your doc. Just some thoughts.

Yes stuff works amazing i got some just in case if i think i need to use it but i never do. Drinking natural teas all contain goodness that helps with immune but what do people do? buy juices full of shit. Their is a lot of good golds that are natural, i think people are just SHEEP in general until something happens to them and they expect herbs to work right away? are you serious? why not use stuff in the a first place for you so nothing happens to begun with. Dont wait till last minutes, their is a tons of good info on vitamins and different alternatives here on this forum that work really good. If got the extra money i highly advice to have some in your cabinet.

Hope all of the fathers are having a wonderful time as Father’s Day is a mere few hours away where I am and it’s already legit on the East Coast.
My hat is off to all of the parents out there, getting through this global pandemic with wee ones. Incredibly under appreciated in the media/society. Happy Father’s Day and parental magic appreciation! Y’all are amazing!

I don't care what "proof" you think you have. The second stimulus check has not been passed. It hasn't even been voted on yet. For now we might not even know if we get it or not. Don't believe your friend who sends you bogus screenshots read the news and it's obvious. Any major news organization (fox, cnn.npr, etc) will disprove this fake news. There was one check for $1,200 there may or may not be a second check. It is actively being discussed in the Congress. Again, this is total and complete fake news. If you want to show me your fake pictures go ahead but that doesn't make it any more legitimate. Sorry. Do some legitimate research

We ran out here during the panic buy. Also, Fred Meyer didn't have any the last three times I was in there within the last two weeks. Except for 3 or 4 packs of single ply Scott the last time I was in there.

Fred Meyer was actually about half stocked with t.p. today. And they had a bit of flour too, haven't seen much flour there for a long time.

Re: Coronavirus discussion
Hey y’all,
I seriously doubt the “no TP in months” meant “no as$ wiping”. I also had to get some Kleenex tissue and I also got some dinner napkins for alternative personal hygiene purposes. I also had difficulty finding TP, and still do. The important part here is NO FLUSHING of alternative paper products. So we changed to using flushable paper for #2’s and used Kleenex tissue we then discard of in trash can for #1’s for about a month. That got us through the temporary, serious shortage.
One funny thing I did was buy some TP from Amazon in late March. For soonest delivery being mid June! The vendor supplying the TP I found on Amazon was located - in China! Not Wuhan, but I was having anxiety about the long term effects on getting supplies during the Shelter In Place, and willing to get TP from China! LOL
I have since found adequate amounts of TP, but still not as much as I generally keep on hand in a shed for storage.
So in April, I checked on Amazon about the status about my Chinese TP order. It had not shipped yet and I cancelled the order. Or so I thought! Last week, I got 12 of these tiny rolls of TP. I mean small rolls. So I obviously didn’t cancel the order fully. But I got a good laugh and so did my mom. I’m keeping them as “pandemic souvenirs”!
A lot of people where I live made the switch to bidets during the initial COVID-19 TP shortages, and apparently they are not terribly complicated to install. Mom is 76 and she’s already freaked out by having to use Cottonelle instead of her usual stuff (store generic). Installing a bidet would cause a huge panic attack for Mom and she’s already a bit eccentric/dramatic, so an ambulance would be required and the last thing we need is a vulnerable 76 year old going to the hospital for Xanax where COVID cases are!
I really doubt the comment that bothered you regarding “no TP in months” meant no personal hygiene.
SCOTT 1 ply is ideal for septic tanks and or travel trailer/RV’s. Our pipes are over 40 years old and we live in a mobile home, so the SCOTT 1 ply is helpful for keeping plumbers away. Plumbers have been doing overtime clearing clogs from other types of wiping people chose to use during this ongoing disaster.
Thank you for sharing a giggle or two on this fine Sunday afternoon.

I wonder if your Chinese tp looks like the little, tiny rolls in the dollar store.
I have a stash of Costco tp now. The law is one open and *this many* not opened and stashed. I never want to have to panic about tp ever again.
My oldest daughter ordered a bidet off Amazon but she ordered too late and got stuck in backorder. She must have received it by now. I told her to go to Fred Meyer and get a sink sprayer and a hook to hook it to the side of the toilet tank.

Re: Coronavirus discussion
I would sell my soul to the devil for a stimulus. I'm disabled, poor & took advantage of the rent moratorium in New York State. The landlord has already been contacting with threats of eviction. I don't know what to tracking do except set up a GoFundMe, and I feel like that space should be reserved for people in more dire circumstances. I just can't prove hardship and how bad it has been. I am serious if a second stimulus came, I could nearly cover two months rent. But I think they have forgotten us. They have forgotten the trauma of the jobless, the survivors of Covid who have ICU Syndrome and long roads to recovery; they have forgotten the 120,000 dead and when I reveal my uncle was one of them, people seem utterly shocked. For every lost life there is a family, trying to figure out what grieving means in the age of Covid. I can't tell you. I still am having nightmares of my Uncle's final days when no one could see him, hold his hand, say last words. I just constantly imagine that, how scary it must have been, how we were all quarantined and alone, unable to properly bury him. I am stuck on April 22nd and we are almost in July and the world has moved but I haven't. I have to pay the piper or be homeless, but seriously the possibility of another stimulus check would be a gift of God. So many folks, working people, first responders, unemployed folks, survivors, and those mourning lost loved ones are dealing with so many of these issues all at once. I think many Americans need help and I cannot play the rugged American that can bounce back, grieve fast, get three jobs despite being disabled, and say I don't want a stimulus because I don't want government handouts. I am someone who needs help and will admit it. Dignity died with my Uncle. God, sorry about that. Maybe we can just pray. I don't know what else to do anymore.brave777 wrote:Guys , just wanted to update on my plant BMW, so A shift started few weeks ago, and B shift just now.

Hey, White Angelica,
Rich corporations have absolutely NO problem taking "hand-outs" from the gov.; hand-outs that we are all paying for. People expect us to be ashamed if we are poor. Why the f*ck should we be ashamed? If being stinking rich were embarrassing, the U.S. might be a place I could respect. I don't, because the wealthy flaunt it so outrageously and the entitled One Percenters mock the people they pay pennies to keep them rich. That's not behavior I find laudable.
I would appreciate another check, and I'm not ashamed to say it.
Wealthy people like to boast that they work harder than the rest of us to get that way. The Truth is that a lot of it is just. plain. Luck. Luck, opportunism and a good deal of unethical behavior. In my opinion, right now, a stand-alone tax on the uber-wealthy should be levied. They have enjoyed hand-outs, loop holes and permission to exploit labor to the extent that it should be considered cruel. And who do they think they are going to sell their sh*t to anyway, I wonder? No one can afford it. Ok, sorry. End of rant
I am so very sorry about your uncle. I remember the day that you announced your loss. I didn't even know what to write. I understand how you would be haunted by this. I don't want to offend by saying the wrong thing: I do believe in a higher power - a Loving......Someone/thing. I truly do believe that we are not 'alone' when we pass. Thousands of people pass every day. I ask myself "where do they go," "what purpose would our suffering serve?" I feel like I'm staring death in the face every day myself. It's hard to make sense of it. But I DO believe that there must be some sense in it. I'll go even further: deep down (and intuitively) I trust that life HERE is only time spent away from where we came from - wherever that is. And I believe that it is a place without boundaries and hatred and the kind of evil that makes like here unbearable so much of the time. I'll stop now because I didn't mean to write an article on class and 'faith'. I wish I could give you some comfort that actually means something. PM me if you ever feel like it. I won't try to sell you on some 'weird religion'
As I understand it, in New York, there is a moratorium that protects you from eviction until Aug. 20. If you fall under that protection, please don't let your landlord upset you. I'm guessing he's doing just fine; but they are practiced at harassment (and getting out of fixing things). Focus on YOUR well-being and those you love.

I'm extremely poor but I'm making ends meet. However, another stimulus check would be a godsend. Please please please Congress get your shit together. Mitch McConnell's seat is up for vote today. If you live in Kentucky get your ass to the polls. 7 terms is ENOUGH. Plus I'm also sick of staring of his turtle face and at his wattle (fyj, the wattle is in the name of the loose skin that hangs below a rooster's neck. The more you know.

Starting Friday, masks are mandatory in Washington State. Fine by me, I wear one every time I have to go in an enclosed area.
Unfortunately masks/no masks has become very politicized and I live in an extremely red area in an extremely blue state. People are shitting themselves here that they might have to be inconvenienced by wearing a mask while they're in a store.
It's going to get ugly.

I live in the red part of our state too. It's rough. We were ordered to wear masks on May 1st, but 8 days ago I was at the grocery and saw a bunch of people without them. I asked the cashier "What's up?" She said "YOU don't have to wear them but WE do." Admittedly, our news sources here are just....... All I can say is, if you want to know what's going on in Springfield, you have to read the Chicago Tribune
. But even then it's hard to know what's what anywhere in IL. I only know that there is still a sign outside the grocery that says all must wear masks. I'm also mad because some maskless woman coughed on me. She, literally, waited just as I was about to pass and then did that: an obnoxious performance-cough. That was the 17th and if I end up sick I'm not optimistic.
I just don't get it. If I had children and got sick they might end up orphans. So we all wear masks to protect each other and each other's families. I hate to say this, but so many of the people I see without masks likely have grown children. I thought we were supposed to get a little wisdom with age.
Maybe I should start telling people I think masks are really fashionable and attractive. Maybe I'm weird, but it's true. I really mean it. I don't wear makeup anyway, but how nice would it be not to have to?
Plus I have Lupus and have to avoid the sun like the plague. I don't need near as much (if any) sunblock with a nice cloth mask
And I don't know how many of you ladies are constantly told to "smile!" No more of that either.

Yeah I'm in Raleigh NC and last Friday at 4pm a mask mandate went into effect... except that there is no enforcement of those who disregard the mandate. No fines, penalty, so its basically just asking people to do the right thing and look out for other people. Not a shocker to say that many are flat out refusing to wear masks. Heck, the organizer of ReOpen NC protests started a *and I'm losing hope in humanity as I literally type this* "Burn-the-mask" youtube challengeherbalhippie wrote:Starting Friday, masks are mandatory in Washington State. And North Carolina is one of the states where every day we are having records high new covid cases and covid hospitalizations, and our percent positive has increased to 9-10% since re-opening the state. Dine-in service at restaurants with 50% capacity and most places began reopening around 1 month ago. Here the ICU beds are running low and none of the state metrics to reopen have been met yet to even begin phase 1 and yet the Governor is going to decide if Phase 3 begins this week
I highly doubt another shutdown will occur until it's too late. It was never a real "shutdown" anyways. So the country had one chance to get a global pandemic response right, and it failed! Many states like here in NC are still on it's first wave. And it is not just certain groups that have failed us. We've been failed at local, state, and federal levels, and by government officials and our own neighbors and citizens. North Carolina has a Democrat Governor and he has not followed his own guidelines to reopen; Many people my age (34) that are Independents, Republicans, Democrats all have shown little-to-zero empathy for lives lost, have no interest in anything that does not personal effect their lives, and have no basic or very limited understanding of the ripple effects of what this virus will do to the country. And almost all of my peers and co-workers don't seem to grasp how fragile our society is: that a pandemic like Covid - mixed with income inequality, the social and justice and health and political inequality in ever aspect of our lives and government, alongside a collapsing infrastructure and a population dependent upon machines/technology - has the potential to destabilize and cripple America and forever change the course of the countries future.
I work for restaurant that reopened for dine-in service on June 11. Within 4 days at least one server was sent home because they had been in contact with a family member who tested positive for covid. This staff member worked 4 hours serving tables, came in without a mask on or gloves on. And there has literally been no statement or announcement about this from management, no alert that a staff member that worked recently "MAY" have worked after being exposed to covid. I understand HIPPA privacy laws but at least give staff the information like this that is key for each of us to make the best health decisions for ourselves. At least let us know there may have been possible exposure in the store. They sent the staff employee home for 14 days, but its been a week and no one knows if they were tested or if they tested negative/positive. If positive then the entire store likely has been exposed to covid. But the really worse part is THEY DIDN"T EVEN DEEP CLEAN the area the server was working. They didn't even close his section, instead they moved another server to take over this server's tables. So guests sat in this server's section, at tables he had been around and touching for hours, AFTER management learned this employee was exposed to covid. At least close the damn section and don't let guests sit where the employee worked for hours
But I've had co-workers straight up tell me that if people find out about this the store may have to shut down for a few days/week, and they need money! Who cares about risking other staff and guest lives, apparently
Sorry, I think I just had to get this off my chest. I've been with the company almost 15 years, but I haven't returned to work yet and I don't know if I will. It sucks we have to make a choice between health and a job. I take care of my parents, and my dad has heart failure, and I won't risk exposing him to Covid to wait tables. Serving was an industry I always expected to be stable, but the restaurant industry is not going to recover/be the same for a very long time, if they do at all. And now I'm exploring what employment I can and want do going forward. End rant!!
I agree HH: It is going to get very, very ugly.

The news encourages to go out and protest but conflict of interest to stay home. So people don't believe news anymore. If any local store employee not wearing a mask is risking losing everything mean while big company's like wallmart people dont have to wear masks, i asked employees if they are made to wear masks and they went of on a rant they are forced too. All 5 people i talked too, they all pissed off. I dont blame them. Fear is not working. Mean while their is zero influenza or colds, its all covid now. We all know every year people die from influenza or flu's if immune is weak. Sorry to break the news but people are stepping out of the fear box and some still refuse too because they dont know better. Their is a reason you cant visit elderly places. I hope you dont end up or test positive because i hear they take them those houses. Some people even afraid to go hospitals in fear for their life, they rather die at home or have higher chances surviving using alternatives to boost immune. Everyone i talk too, understand this. i just dont understand some people here. How sure someone that died was from covid, since everything is covid you dont know if its inflenza or something else... have you seen the papers??? or you just take it for word? I would really care for all your close elders. Or if you are your self, treat your self best stuff, best food best everything. stay healthy. I am not saying its fake, i am just saying be slight open minded and use common sense. In fact it could be something that is very bad i am not denying it. just take care of your self.
