That sister has moved on from masks, so I mooched 2 more before she fully quit sewing. One for mom, one for me. I had to cut the backs out so we can breathe while wearing them. Mom likes the tied head type, I’m elastic ears type. Mom is such a rebel against authority - she’s like the last person on earth that wears NO seatbelt because of the disregard of authority is fun for her. She kicks as$ driving around here! Takes me twice as long to get to places! LOL. These 76 year olds are hard to tame! So of course she forgets her mask, forgets the 6 ft distance, and forgets her phone ! Which one here was working at the Cheese Factory? I’m interested in whether that job has been refined for curbside pickup or anything...

I’m so relieved to know you guys got your unemployment checks. I’m still waiting on stimulus money. I also have bill money in bank only. And kratom money. I buy it at different places. Even tho I still have some from 2016 BanMania. I like shiny new bags ....

LOL

Good reports with lighter load s due to bills getting paid. So glad! How are the factory workers coping?!

Hi I'm the one who works for The Cheesecake Factory. I'm in Raleigh. Every location I believe is open for take out/curb side I believe. There were a few stores in March that had to shut but I think every store is currently at least doing to-go orders. Cheesecake also offers delivery via a couple delivery services (Door-dash is main one but there are others that delivery for the company).

I'm a server and have been furloughed along with 95% of the staff. Most of the cooking is being done by kitchen managers, and to-go's and curbside are being done by front of house managers. Only a few regular staff members are working answering phones and taking orders and things like that, as almost EVERYTHING is basically being done by managers. I can answer any question you might have, if you want to know anything. I have 15 different job codes and trained in almost every position in front of the house and been with the company almost 15 years.

For the location in Raleigh they are open to take out/curb side but the menu is limited last time we got updates, so not everything is available. From my understanding about half of the items are not available. We have a huge menu though (16 page book haha). I'm sure it varies from location as far as what items are currently not available.

Cheesecake factory sent out an message on our scheduling platform that made it sound like they are gearing up to open up again in the next few weeks. I think this is a bad idea in many locations. I'm not sure what changes will be made when they do open.

MikeEdoessomething! I thought it was you...Aren’t you also the guy with the long commute to work? Live in a small town where everyone knows everyone and then lately you noticed unfamiliar faces walking in seemingly nowhere near nuthin’ on your way to work?

I was actually just inquiring as to how YOU are coping / surviving this thing? And plans for you to go back looks hopeful for you. I hope that’s good news for you! I just remembered your posting about your experience here and there in the longest MM thread and I definitely liked the people in this thread. I guess because it’s a more personal, in depth discussion as opposed to our kratom strains, do’s and don’ts. I’ve just felt lucky to happen along this thread well into those first days...this thread is quite a read compared to any other I’ve seen, lol.

I bet you are dam right about some locations regretting early opening. As it is, rumor spreads as bad as the virus! ‘Round here, people are posting misinformation they “seen it on Facebook cause your sister dates a guy who heard it at work so it’s true” about businesses having sick workers AT WORK. At least twice this happened on our local NEXTDOOR app and it was WRONG both times. Stuff like that.

So you see, I much prefer this crowd! I’ve had to unsubscribe to local stuff because the people are just behaving like pigs and it’s embarrassing to even READ.

My ex husband was lost to FOX NEWS and the shit they were pitching was RIGHT ON POINT about how all of this is going. I really hoped I could squeak out of old age or whatever my method of death is, THEN have the country and world go completely insane and maybe flip the axis! I really hoped my ex was wrong when we were sticking TP up in the rafters of now HIS SHOP back in 2008 and on...

My ex husband is STILL lost to FOX NEWS and he’s got all the TP and ammunition in Idaho if anyone needs a connection for stuff like butter that won’t ever go bad n stuff. I really hoped his common sense would be stalled. I didn’t argue the logic because I’m not an idiot with my head in the sand. So I fully supported it all. We only divorced because he wouldn’t allow me to visit my aging mother more than one time per year. He suggested “we should put her in a home” if it’s that important (it was not a nursing home situation. Still isn’t).

It really sucks that all of that negativity and paranoia was truly justified and likely helpful for my ex and his new woman.

I don’t wish THEM any ill will. I just wish the predictions were SO EXACTLY RIGHT. If it continues to go “as expected”, make sure you used this time wisely with loved ones because we may be in food lines instead of at home calling for delivery... :o

Thanks for the update, MikeEdoessomething! It’s nice to see your post today. Very bright and positive energy in your words.

Hopefully we won’t have to fight for kratom as much while this chit continues...

Night!

A doomsday prepper in Idaho! I have been a doomsday prepper off and on since the 1980s.

This pandemic almost caught me by surprise. Almost. It was very close. Let's just say I was strolling through Costco a day or two before the big panic hit, leisurely buying what I wanted to stock up on in case of food and other shortages. Like toilet paper. No, I did not buy 56 cases like one guy here did.

My county and the one across the river are sort of tied together. We share a health district for one. The commissioners of both counties and the sheriff of one are petitioning the governor to let us open up ahead of the rest of the state. This would be a HUGE mistake, as we are a very high tourist volume area every year. If we open up, every single person for 100 miles around that's sick of being stuck in their house and their own neighborhood are going to pour in here. Our positive cases numbers are still going up. I listen to the scanner most all day and evening and I'm still hearing ambulances on their way in to the hospital with possible virus patients.

If we open up now we're f***ed and I'm scared at the thought.

Hi Laurie. I'm not the person you are referring too- lucky for me I live 5 miles from work so its an easy commute. I'm in Raleigh now, which feels like a small town compared to the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area where I grew up and New York where I was born and my family live. But this area of North Carolina is growing so fast. Homes being built every inch available. Yet they do not do anything to the roads

Thanks for inquiring though. I hope you are doing well. This community is something special. I was a lurker for years, on reddit and here, before becoming active and so glad I did. I'm doing okay, trying to stay sane lol. Unemployment system nearly drove me INSANE!! 7 weeks with no benefits and my case was pending and I was deemed ineligible also. That was stressful. I just got my debit card with the benefits about a week ago!! Such a huge relief. I had savings and credit space but the wait for unemployment was really so stressful. I try to keep a perspective on things, and so many people have it far far worse, and I am better off than most. And I was given back pay in benefits too, so most of what I lost I got back. I would say around 75% which I won't complain about :D

I'm not sure what I will do if things open up in 2 or 3 weeks which is what is being discussed right now. I've been out of work since March 15th but I really have done nothing in that time. All my energy was on unemployment. That was all I thought about besides kratom lol. I called unemployment office literally everyday and was on hold for various amounts of time every single day. I really hope things here and anywhere do not open up too quickly, but I fear the wheels are in motion heading in that direction. Sadly, most people do not care about a problem they can not see or which does not impact them directly. So many believe the threat is gone or that this was never as bad as it was made out to be... There was another "re-open" protest here in Raleigh today. What people are not asking is this: if things open up, and the virus spreads again, does everything shut down all over? If a store opens and a few days later an employee gets infected/tests positive, does the store shut down? Employees quarantine? What about if someone working at a mall gets the virus, does the whole mall shut down?

If things open and then shut down again, do employees have to re-file for unemployment? Do employees have to come back to work even if they live with the most at risk citizens? I take care of my parents and my father had heart surgery 2 months ago and is about as high risk as they come. If I don't return to work do I lose my benefits even though guidelines urge people to stay home in certain cases where high risk people are involved? How are the guidelines going to be enforced or what happens to those businesses that defy guidelines? What about the operating and financial cost of opening and closing and opening and closing? Do we continue the cycle, and just "wing" it every time we open and then shut down? For example a restaurant that opens and then is forced to shut down a few days later is going to incur losses from opening for business (food, labor, etc etc), only to then be force to shut down. Food is wasted, people lose benefits by returning to work only to once again be unemployed?

Imagine a major hurricane striking a large coastal city AND dealing with the virus at the same time? Or wildfire while the virus spreads? The food supply is already being impacted, how much worse will opening restaurants make it for those who rely on food banks? People are starving right now and lining up for hours to get food and suddenly the country thinks a switch can just be turned on and restaurants can go back to normal? Things will not go back to normal. No one seems to be talking about these questions. Ignorance is bliss so keep the masses blind by giving them entertainment and food and they won't see the poison rotting the system

Our health care and food supply structures are cracking or damn near falling apart already. Adding more stress to these already fragile systems risks the entire structure collapsing. If that happens then what we have gone through so far will seem like a vacation.
Thanks for the update, MikeEdoessomething! It’s nice to see your post today. Very bright and positive energy in your words.

Hope the reply isn't too negative as I needed to vent ;) I do try to stay positive though these days it is easy not to be. I tell myself to be thankful for what I have and remember the simple perspective: "It could always be worse"

Thank you for the kind words. Reading what you wrote made my night! I am an inspiring writer. I write as my main hobby, to vent, express myself, etc etc... So hearing my words have any positive impact is music to my ears

Sorry for the HUGE rant  ! I started replying and my thoughts went every direction and I guess I just needed to vent. But thanks Laurie for the kind words and thoughts! I hope you are and your loved ones stay well and safe.

Sorry to hear you're still dealing with that. What state are you in, if you don't mind sharing?

When I finally spoke to a real live person from unemployment on the phone, I'm not going to lie, I damn near chocked up  I was so shocked that someone actually picked up that I was stuttering and almost forgot what I needed to ask. And when she told me the debit card was in the mail and that there was money on that card, I ask'ed her if she was sure like 10 times. I didn't want to hang up haha... She was such a nice person too whoever it was I spoke with. I asked her how her day was and joked that she was probably more stressed than the caller's listening to our complaints everyday. My status on my unemployment homepage still says "pending resolution" but I have gotten my state unemployment debit card. In North Carolina, apparently the technology for unemployment system is from the 70's and 80's. No wonder it's a mess

But yes, like you, I kept saying so many others were worse off than me. It's so sad. But the stress was getting overwhelming. And now that I can finally relax the state is starting to open back up  Hopefully your situation gets resolved soon.

Wow, I can't believe you guys still haven't received unemployment! It's really taking forever! I'm so sorry!

I am still trudging away at my job, going in every day and cleaning everything with my supplies I'm bringing from home. On the one hand I feel very fortunate to still be working, but then again I had to be tested for covid yesterday because I was exposed at work.

I'm afraid the factory I work in is going to be like the Tyson plants, once it hits us it will spread like wildfire. So far only one person has it, and they are quaranteed at home.

Will we ever get past this? Will life ever return to normal?

Wow! Y’all have updated wonderfully. I save this thread for last one of the day. I’m on kratom forums A LOT. Like you all stated, I’m trying to really be grateful for what I have AND not be a complainer. The local NEXTDOOR app has gone to full time whining and complaining about stuff that really is SO FREAKING minor. One woman is outraged about a parking lot bathroom being locked (so guys are just peeing by the door), but she seems to forget that her view is ALSO the most beautiful area, overlooking a popular surf spot ANYONE would tolerate pee to have. I have to just stop using that app. I get pissed off at the tedious stupidity being posted constantly. It used to be a fun way to meet neighbors outside of our mobile home park (me and mom).

I finally got my stimulus today! It’s just about right with my income losses for these 3 months (I do part time stuff locally and lots of advocacy online, so I’m no longer doing pet sitting with travel stopped. I was booked for the entire year.

I’m glad to hear from Metalmamarocks working in the factory. I’m sorry to hear you are working under the same level of unknown fear. Can’t be healthy for you - I hope you’re getting adequate rest and “cool down” time between shifts to allow CHILL.

MikeEddoessomething-

I’ll keep reading your stuff. I’ve been wondering all the same things because nobody hardly got sick here, so I have a lot of meetings coming up with regard to how to restart the 12 step meetings!

I have almost been prepping as long as you. I got into it starting 9/11 when I joined the conspiracy theory notions on late night talk radio. I was a scanner listener for years! My therapist had me quit. LOL

MikeEddoessomething, I used to live in Charlotte. Loved NC but my mom moved us out here to Ca to be near her abusive mother after my folks split up.
I’ve since lived here and there and no longer in Idaho with the prepper now ex husband. But I did learn a few things from him and we got by for over a month without needing to buy TP. I still can’t get my preferred SCOTT with 1,000 thin sheets that don’t leave lint on my as$ and are much safer for flushing. LOL

Y’all are so interesting and unique. I love it, “just calling unemployment or thinking about kratom”. A true fellow comrade, LOL

My back pain has shot up from the changes in lifestyle. I try to walk every day and do stretches throughout the day, but feels like I’m losing some mobility and I already struggle with it similar to my 70 yr old mom. I was having to screw our toilet seat down (i hate a swivel seat, lol , and it was kinda difficult getting on the floor with pliers and then getting back up. Not cool. But my body is often in a constant state of stiff muscles that don’t let go and relax. I’m trying some skullcap and wild lettuce with kratom and it helps. And some valerian. I had this health issue way before the pandemic. I had to bump up the kratom use and that will suck for keeping tolerance low. But it’s needed now. I’m very glad I have prepper stash of powders for everything.

Thank you all for posting on this thread. It’s important and special. Thanks for having me,
Metalmamarocks, I’m pretty sure we will never see our familiar “normal” again. I’m bummed, too. Trying to look at all of the wonderful things I’ve learned from this. But I’ll miss Kansas, Toto.

Y’all stay safe and well (duh)

Laurie

I'm still dealing with my Uncle's death by Covid-19, but as New York begins to open up, my focus has shifted to economic worry. I don't know what to do. We had a rent moratorium and will until August, but I am three months behind in rent now & I'm feeling like it is countdown to eviction/homelessness. Anyone else worried about this sort of thing? I haven't read all the comments because this pandemic has become a political issue, and I joined a support group for those who lost somebody and they've advised not to listen to this stuff. I was getting so worked up when people were saying it was a hoax and actually trying to prove to people my Uncle Bob was dead and specifically from this. The family hasn't been able to see each other to mourn, and my Aunt Judy is a Widower now, all alone in her house where she and my uncle built their life. I'm sure everything smells like him, his toothbrush, comb, fire department uniform are all persistent reminders of a man who deeply vanished off the face of the earth. He went to the hospital and the night before his death he took a turn toward wellness and was able to speak to Aunt Judy over cell and joke about food when he was coming back home. Overnight, he stopped breathing. We never got to see him, visit, and no funeral.

Okay that is so depressing. My apologies. It's just I'm so thin skinned and worried!

Please stay safe, kratom family!

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle's death, WA.

There should be social services in your area to help with rent. I can think of a couple here.

Oh WhiteAngelica,

I’m so so sorry about the loss of your uncle and the cruel turn the virus did after showing indications of feeling better! You are absolutely not without support. I’ve heard of this “recovering a bit finally and then ... gone“. Just awful. :|
You don’t know me from a hole in the wall, but I appreciate your posting your loss. It helps others to know this virus and the Shelter In Place are not merely inconvenient and instead it’s about human life or death. And I can’t imagine how this virus is so aggressive with discomfort the entire time....

Best wishes for healing....I’d like to donate for some of your rent if you start a collection. I don’t have much ( I am representing a vendor here. I’m only able to work 20-30 hours a month due to a lot of complications I won’t bore you with ). Perhaps a GOFUNDME acct or a VENMO acct. I wouldn’t rush into it while your family is suffering from a trauma such as this. I’ll keep an eye out for you later on as the virus continues and changes/adapts like nothing imaginable.

Stay safe and well - I’m sure your uncle would be/is supportive of the awful end necessities to avoid contamination. He would not wish to even accidentally contaminate someone else. I have no doubt he would approve of the harsh circumstances of the lack of memorial.

Thank you for the post,

Laurie

being in the high risk group, I'm worried about the virus.. But Rent moratoriums are a thing in many states. Years ago I worked as a Property Manager, its a shitty business.. There will have to be some resolution, the landlords and banks can't just force millions of people out!. I think there will be a Class Action in court they will need to HOLD evictions !!

No lack of things to worry about! That’s for sure. Please remember not to let our own health go. I gotta figure out how to safely prove and then treat a suspected bladder infection (blood in pee - sorta noticed other signs over the past few days).

I’m heading home tomorrow and we have the same pee sticks Quest Diagnostics does. Except mine are sold at Rite Aid and they Nee my pee on THEIR sticks. I have a phobia about going to medical facilities, but I’m going to get my instructions tomorrow. My point is to remind everyone else to pay attention to our health, or second exasperate illness instead of treating while it’s a small pee test.

Your fellow kratomites here and everywhere DO CARE.

I don't know about any other states but in WA there a HUGE amount of unemployment fraud going on. People who are still working, or who have not claimed unemployment, are getting letters in the mail that they are claiming.

The advice is, go to your state's unemployment website and register. You can do this without filing a claim, it just cements your info in there so no one can steal it and file a fraudulent claim. And steal your identity.

All my kids and their significant others who are not currently filing are doing this.

That’s so disappointing to hear. Not surprising. A lot of restaurants here are open and working. But I know they will be the first in line to get FEMA funds. Makes me sick. Hope the dollar doesn’t quite go off the track...

Everyone is quiet on this topic. I’m hoping that’s good. Where I am, we don’t have any actual illnesses here (yet). Other countries are rolling bodies into the street and burned. No joke. Ecuador.

Every time I feel disappointed about a lack of this or that, I can refer to life (and death) in Ecuador.

I hope y’all are minimally affected personally...

How are things for YOU?

Yes, tons already on LBRY.TV their is no delete button and it syncs all youtube videos if wish, this means if youtube deletes, the sync copy on LBRY.TV wont. I am just glad their is tons of new platforms popping up everywhere. Its funny that people accidentally upload twice same video and they cant delete it? it is what it is. Oh and you get paid with bit coin and it is way more then what you tube is paying. So many switching up now. My time already reduced on youtube by 50%. because they have less content what people are looking for.

For example, Joe Rogan leaving youtube for good to spotify, he just signed a 100 million contract. there is many more to follow soon. and i dont blame them.

Aslo an interesting update from simon parkes

Best New Show on TV? Professor Scott Galloway's No Mercy/ No Malice on VICE - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUwFwGlAIsc

Economics guy, UCB, Silicon Valley, now NYU Business School. Very entertaining! not just dry business stuff.. The recent $2 Trillion Corona Bailout = Crony Capitalism. Example issue both free market conservatives and liberals, can agree... I like VICE. Definitely not mainstream media.

Galloway's book: The Hidden DNA of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google, compares these companies to Big Tobacco, he advocates for a federal Anti-trust case / break-up of monopoly social media giants.. Google does engage in anti competitive practices. Now.. Looks like the U.S. govt is finally about ready to sue YouTube. LINK Its about time.

Good stuff! You like Vice? Have you read any of Drew Magary's stuff. He used to be over on Deadspin but Jim Spanfeller axed ALL of the political content on G/O Media so the entire Splinter and Deadspin staff gave him the finger and abandoned ship. Magary is more 'entertainment' than political, but then everything is political so.....

Thanks for the post, BRAVE777. I have been wondering why nobody talks about that obvious way in for germs. The “masks only” rule is really a decorative specimen to demonstrate consideration for others. Fine for me. But NOT for people exposed to other people all the time like in factories where metalmamarocks works (for example). [please pardon misspelling AGAIN]

Not much can be said without getting into politics. Sadly. Thanks for the post.

You’re so right about diet in relation to immune system, BRAVE777. I do all the shopping for Mom and I told her, enough is enough with the processed stuff. Especially sweets. She moans now and then. Always looks for treats when I come home. I try to put like one little thing she shouldn’t have (something small because her shih tzu gets some of everything she eats. We have a big pink stain from cotton candy long ago).

I was a caregiver for other folks for quite a few years and it baffled me how family members visit their loved ones with some dementia AND Diabetes with a visit based on SERIOUS SWEETS! I think it’s a “reward” for visiting loved ones in nursing homes, and I get it. But. It’s a serious problem in families (the sugar issue). I don’t have children, so I cannot talk. I never had the balls to have kids. But. If I had them, I’d like to think that I would teach them not to throw their very few candy wrappers on the street (why do people still think it’s ok to litter. Where does that start?)!

But this issue (sugar) with our elderly loved ones is life and death serious.

As it relates to our community, it’s been said and I’ve had experience to support this, that diet, plenty of rest and exercise ALL contribute a great deal to the benefits of the leaf. That was motivation enough for me. I screw up sometimes, but I notice the diff

And seeing elderly people in nursing homes eating cupcakes and stuff to no end...I don’t understand it. But. There is stuff I have resolved to never understand.

Like how the word “specimen” got into my last post. I will never understand how that word showed up. It ruins the point entirely. LOL

Finally, at the same time, I don’t preach to other people IN PERSON about their dietary choices or lifestyle. It’s not my place. But I have been given the opportunity to make sure my mom eats properly because she has agoraphobia and never went to the store WAY BEFORE the virus.

There are other reasons, but she AND HER LITTLE DOG would not likely have made it had I not gotten divorced to move in. It’s been very rewarding to share cognitive times with her! We laugh again (that took a while after my sister jumped off a cliff in 2009).

We sneak some sweets ON OCCASION and even then, I get sugar “hangovers” and swelling, puffy eyes n chit.

I just REALLY REALLY REALLY hope everyone is able to stay employed and healthy! Period. Bottom line!

Trump is all talk and not doing anything, don't be fooled. He joined the side for everyone to be vaccinated. He even said it openly. I am sure you and many want to put hope in him but sad reality news, we have to ask, what side is he on? Once he orders military to make sure you get a shot and traced on safe list, only then you will understand, that he was all talks. I could be wrong but that's what me thinks. My family members also thought George Bush son is a good christian God man but it was all air words to win more votes and only been understood later. If you think deep i can understand why local and internet communities are getting together. They are the once who will be there for you, not a politician. But what do i know?

On the other hand, i actually dont mind the covid 19, it brings people together, and family members respect each other more because their is a common enemy. The Virus. In some ways it also did a lot good but people just not realizing it. The next one will be 80% of earth volcanoes going off and their will be winter for 7 years, according to Edgar Cayce. He predicted for every year whats going to happen, and imagine him die in 1945? I heard he has a big library dedicated to his readings... When this happens, people of all color will unite to work thorougher and figure ways how to make food and help each other... 15% od earth population will not make it.. then after 20 years after cold 7 winter years everyone will go back to being selfish and chase money again, chaos will happen again. I think and believe once the powers be realize we are all aspects of that one big God and there is no other God, then we will make this place earth a better place. Zero point energy, and many medical devices would be open to the public, for now a small percent thinks they deserve all that and your a useless eater. And finely we have a cure from bill gates from a virus... its around the corner and will help everyone get rid of fears..

Brave
Did you really mean that when you said you didn't mind covid-19? do you think you would feel that way if someone you loved died before because of it? What if one of your parents died? What if your best friend died? Think of the 350 million people worldwide who have died, all the families,.friends, and then all of the active cases of those people suffering who haven't died and might die any day now...geez dude. I mean for fuck sake 100,000 people just died in America alone, and we're just now to the plateau
for real, how can you possibly say that?

And then you bring up Edgar Cayce in a serious truthful matter. I really don't even know what to do with that. That's merely one conspiracy theory in the midst of the other ones that you're bringing to light. Absolutely no evidence is involved. I'm not trying to pick on you or bully you but those are some outlandish ideas that border on offensive, and it's really surprising to hear someone actually harbor them.

No i didn't mean it, i am saying they told and pointed to us in many ways about the virus, movies, all over internet and many many other ways, i was stating in some ways it brings people together. Might as well accept the good parts of it since you cant escape it. Like i had bad relations with some people and it brought me closer to them. 1000,000 is a big number, bill gates is smokong his pot and waiting to long to release his vaccine... WTF is he doing? right?

Edgar Cayce think what you like, i am not serious in this area. OK? Just my personal thoughts, no conspiracy. if it happens it happens you will remember this comment. If it doesn't you will forget it. If it offended you in any way, i am sorry. not to be taken seriously and was not aimed at you in any way except the Trump part, i hope you didn't get offended i didnt like trump. I was just stating my opinion as well, and also said i could be wrong. he havent done much. Have a good day.

We can already see world wide earth is starting to shift and weather changes, like snows in Africa and rains starting to flood parts of New England. Some say its the magnetic pole inside earth shifting and not Pole shift of North and south, If north and side pole shifted no one would survive, 100% death for everyone. But you will slowly noticed volcanoes start going off here and there and then it will increase, signs you should move and sell everything if you live near one should be considered. It will trigger 80% volcanoes. According to Edgar Cayce. Is this true? i dont know.... But give some time and we will find out for sure, whole reason i thought this information is important because when this shit goes down, maybe i can help 2 or 3 people see this coming and help them on leave. Because i like you guys here. I want kratomites to live long. I am not doing this for money, just free information. If you want to take it as conspiracy, its your choice. I call it my own observation and my opinion based off Edgar cayce.

@Damen ck

Just a bit of friendly advice:

If you don't care for a member's comments or feel that they they challenge your own personal ideologies, maybe just ignore them and move on. I would really be disappointed to see this thread shut down owing to a simple difference of opinion. It is very easy these days to claim that someone is "forcing" you to think and feel a certain way. We are all exposed to messages that we feel threaten our way of believing on social media (commercials being the worst offenders). And if the person you feel has offended you wants to answer you and continue to engage with you then I hope for all of our sakes that we can avoid accusations, negative inferences or even name calling. I think that Double M has been able to tread that razor's edge of "everyone to their own opinion" and "we don't want your opinion here because it's unusual [or weird or whatever] very well.

Imo, if this crisis has taught us anything it is "We can't always strive to put ourselves first" anymore.

Of course, If you really think that a commenter is trolling you, then do report it to a Mod. I'm sure that he/she can help reach a fair resolution.

Greyfeather lol, thanks for pointing that out. I am sure there is a lot of you here have completely another view and would love to say something but choose not too because every topic these days is extremely tensed up and going on the political side of it. Its in fact really hard not to make something political. Me i try to avoid and show my point of view of things, i am not claiming anything as you noticed, i say i believe this is interesting information or if i liked some video i will post it for you, the once i think you guys will love but its very hard to please everyone. Plus we are not everyone same, we have different religion/beliefs, walks of life, we only know what everything around us influenced us. be it parents or firnds, be it CNN or be it what ever. I dont think Damen ck made any threat's in his post. just his opinion oh how he understood what i was saying. Perhaps miss understood somewhat but thats normal, it happens everywhere. I somehow in my mind sometimes think i expressed my self fully but when i re-read i noticed i only shart little bits of what i was trying to say. I think as long as we debate and dont make personal theat's to each other. I highly doubt anyone would lock the subject. If got another great point of you, post it, like balls does, i go and try to see what he is watching, his source link and make my own opinion, perhaps learn something in the process. What a boring world it would be if everyone was same. Right?
