Jiminie Cricket review

Hey guys!

Haven't had time to post in awhile, but because of the current situation I've got nothing but it now. I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy. I recently placed 3 orders from 3 different vendors for my Pops and I. I'm going to do them all separately.


The first one is Jimine Cricket. I saw someone post good things about him on here, and I liked the way he worded his response to it. I couldn't find much else on him tho, but that was how it was with Smiley way back, and he's still one of my favorites.

I reached out by email, and got a reply pretty quickly. We ended up chatting about kratom and life for a good while before I even brought up ordering. He was not pushy at all, and gave me good info on the strains he had. His prices are very good, and the shipping was fast too. Since it was first time ordering from him, I went with 500 grams split two ways. Here's my thoughts on both of those...

Red Borneo - This one is great for a Red. Very relaxing, very good pain management, and a solid mood lift. It also has some serious legs on it, and I ended up knocking down my dose a gram from my normal intake. I also noticed the grind was super fine, and it seems very fresh. Now, I'm not some expert so I'm basing this off of my experience over the past 2 1/2 years.

*Overall I give it a 5/5 for a Red. Almost went 4.5, because I'm stingy with giving a perfect but after taking it for over a week I can't give it anything less.


Yellow Borneo - this one took me by surprise. I haven't always had the best luck with Yellows in the past, but I liked what he had to say about it, and I'm typically a fan of Green and Red Borneo. This one lacked the pain management I usually want. However, it made up for it with its mood lift, calm focus, and energy. The energy from it was more of an alert, but calm kind. It got me up and moving, but did not make me jittery at all. The grind again was super smooth, and it lasted a good amount of time. Not as long for me as the Red Borneo, but still impressive.

*After several different doses, I gladly give this one a solid 4/5.

I'm sure you've already guessed that I mixed them, and the results I've had were really good. I still enjoy them on their own, but it's a very pleasant and useful blend. I see now why so many of you enjoy blending Yellows in with your other favorites. Adds a really nice touch!


I haven't really done a lot of reviews, mainly due to being busy taking care of my Pops and my Photography and I hope I wasn't too long winded (I'm very self aware of my tendency to do so). With the extra time I have now I figured I can share my thoughts, and maybe it'll help some of you out like the other reviews on here have helped me. This forum site has been a huge help for me over the past year or so.

I'll review my orders from Smiley Time and Treasure House Botanicals by tomorrow afternoon. I'll go ahead a say that it's all positive from all 3, which is awesome to say! There's good vendors out there, that are also good people too. I'd much rather support them then the bigger ones who I've had less than pleasant experiences with.
