Would anyone be willing to let go of a sample of this magical Borneo?! I don't make much money but really would like to try it and find out if it really would be worth it for me!!! If not, totally understand, thanks anyways! Later ..

I placed a large order last week to grab some more of the green horn and half a kilo of the red Borneo, and it will be here on Monday. It includes some of their blends (which I haven’t tried, but my friend swears by), and a few other strains I haven’t tried yet - Green Malay, and White and Yellow Borneo. I’ll try to review those next week.

After talking to Julia and placing a few orders and seeing how willing they have been to adjust prices and give out coupons (MA15NEW for 15% off first order) to earn our business, I feel really bad about saying I couldn’t recommend them or trying to find their suppliers to bypass them because their prices were high. They are really great people and I’m thrilled to see them getting embraced by this community.

I suggested larger sample sizes - currently, they just offer tiny 10g samples - which I think will encourage more new customers. As the first online vendor I ever tried, I will always have a special place for them and want to see them do well. It’s also good to know it’s not just me and that other people think their leaf is fire as well.

I’m happy to see other people enjoying KTC as much as I have. Last thing I want to do is recommend something and have people not like it (or feel like they wasted their hard-earned money) - people use kratom for medical reasons and often because it is more affordable than pharmaceuticals, so I take these reviews very seriously - so far, I have had a pretty solid track record with my suggestions.

Damn- I feel like I got a hold of this post way to late! Trigger- do you know if they still have Any of the old "fire" batch left? I signed up for their site and sent them an email in regards to wanting to purchase a half kilo of their old batch that you guys are raving about but as of yet still no reply.....i really want to try some of this. It's been soooo long since I've had "fire" kratom. Seriously, I keep snagging up batches if different vendors and strains only to be left unimpressed. I just ordered like 9 strains from Liza's only to be extremely underwhelmed -nothing against the vendor just the leaf didn't do much for me. I would absolutely pay a little more for good leaf, just sayin'.

Hi guys this is Julia. I felt like I need to register and post a reply as I created a confusion when told that we have only 10 kilos left. I apologize for that.
We still have another 25 kilo box from the same batch in the warehouse. A the time when Herbalhippie asked me about it I just looked in the office and saw that there was 10 kilos left in the pre-filled bags. I didn't know we had another 25 kilo box as I rarely go to the warehouse where Nick makes the bags. So if anybody is still interested in trying or getting more of that BR batch, it's available. I will post here and let you know when we gonna start getting low and open a new batch.
If anybody has any questions, please feel free to ask.

Had Green Malay this morning. It’s really good. Smelled super fresh. Pain melter. It is probably as good as the GMD.

Yellow Borneo - holy shit, this is as strong as the red Borneo. It should be, it’s probably made with it, right? Yellows are blends after all. This one isn’t as mentally sedating, but my body feels like it’s wrapped in a warm cocoon. I can hardly move. It’s very euphoric as well, but also kind of energizing. I really like this. I’m excited to pair this with reds. It’s definitely a bit better than KOG/Smiley Yellow Vietnam. It’s good on its own, but I do like to blend yellows with other things. This is up there with Mitra Man’s Gold Borneo. Wish I had bought more.

It’s like a real euphoric and relaxing red, but I’m not nodding out or getting sleepy. I’m chill af, but I could take this and actually do things that required my brain.

Wow thanks for posting, Trigger! I actually got a lot of great feedback about this Yellow from many other customers in the past.
And it's first time I hear that Yellow is a blend. As far as I'm informed, Yellow is made out of young leafs of White. That's why it's more potent than white. It contains more alkaloids and actually is not recommended to people who are sensitive to caffeine and get jitters from it. Yellow will make them same jittery. If you like mixing your kratom, I would definitely suggest to mix yellow and red. It's gonna be very mellow blend. Nick actually was thinking of adding this exact blend to our product list and wanted to call it "Mellow Yellow". LOL

There are articles and I’ve seen lots of people saying there’s no such thing as different strains. It’s all the same. All kratom is red vein and the difference is how it is dried and whether or not is is fermented. I know that Golds are blends, and I’m pretty sure most vendors that carry yellows will say they are blends as well. I’ve read lots of conflicting info. But basically, the strains are nothing but marketing. Who knows. The guy who talks about this the most is unscrupulous. The guy who owns Urban Ice Organics. So maybe he’s just full of shit.

Either way, this is probably the best yellow I’ve ever had, and I will definitely pair it with the red Borneo and other reds. That was already planned. Lol.

Tomorrow I’m trying both the total relaxation Bali blend and the energetic Bali blend. I’ll report back. Interestingly, the relaxation blend is greenish and the energetic blend is more reddish.

Edit: I’ll say this about strains. I don’t care if it’s marketing or real. Kratom OG has like 200 different strains. Are they made up by farmers and distributors in Indonesia? Probably. Do I still get different effects from reds and whites and greens? Yes. So whether strains are real or if it’s fake, it doesn’t matter. I don’t really believe there’s someone taking the tiny baby leaves and separating them from other leaves into a different pile.

We have no way of really knowing because we don’t see how the slaughterhouse kills the cows. We just get bags of ground beef and a story. I’m sure there are ethical farmers there, but as a consumer I have zero chance of finding out which ones. I trust you guys, and you trust your supplier, but do they trust their supplier and the farmer that supplies them? *shrug*

As long as the bag of dust you have in your office is certified “fire” (which it is), it doesn’t matter what the leaves looked like when they came off the tree or where the tree was.

Energetic Bali Blend is pretty good as well. Definitely good for a morning burn. Clear headed and peppy without being “cracky” or jittery like a strong white. Average mood lift and anxiety relief. I feel pretty good overall.

Total Relaxation Bali Blend - This is certainly slower than the energetic blend (which is a mid-spec). This isn’t taking me to the sunken place or anything, but it’s quite relaxing as advertised. Very euphoric. And I haven’t even eaten yet. Effects started kicking off much quicker with this one. It’s making my eyes roll into the back of my head a bit, so very euphoric. It’s probably not a stretch to call this “fire” as well. So far, I haven’t disliked anything or found anything to be even close to average. I’m really impressed.

Just had some White Borneo this morning. Honestly, at this point I’m almost hoping to be unimpressed with something so I don’t look like a shill or biased or whatever, but this one is another stand-out. At first I was gonna rate this as above average, but since I ate lunch, it just keeps getting better. I’m not a huge fan of whites normally, but this one has real clean energy to it. No jitters. This will make for a good blender. This one is similar to the Energetic Bali Blend, but not as clear headed. It’s a little cloudy, but still quite good.

I got my Yellow Borneo last weekend and I tried it mixed with a red last Monday night. It was a potent burn but for whatever reason, it was not the most pleasant. So i gave it a few days and burned it solo last night. Totally different feel to it.
This yellow is VERY good. Really good euphoria, very good pain relief, and for me it had really good energy as well. The energy kinda came in “waves” though and alternated between energy and relaxation. It was a very enjoyable burn - Perfect for a Friday night.

Yeah, it’s really difficult to explain. It’s sedating and energetic and stimulating at the same time. I didn’t want to say “focus” because I think I was a bit all over the place in thought, but it certainly had my brain buzzing in a good way. But it also was super relaxing. One of my favorites indeed.

I'm going to put it through its paces to because I'm cranky, anxious, tense, very tired because I only got 3 hours of sleep and my arthritis pain is really ramped up.

I have another package from them en route. Hoping it gets delivered tomorrow (I know it’s Sunday but my last package from them actually delivered last Sunday) I’ve got the Green Malay and White Borneo plus the Total Relaxation Bali coming in that one. I have enjoyed everything I’ve got from them so far. I’m really curious about the Thai and Riau strains that are OOS. Wish they had another DoubleM coupon (hint, hint, Julia

). The first coupon (MA15NEW) was very helpful, but only works once.

I picked up the Riau a few years ago. It was average then, but of course they now have new suppliers (I was wrong about that originally). I took Morning Blend this AM, and it’s very nice. I’m chasing the baby around, so I don’t think I’ll be able to do a proper review. It’s up there with the other blends. I mean, I always used to avoid the blends because they put the ratios right on the description and I could basically just buy the strains and make my own blends, lol. But I’m real glad I got these. The strains they are made from are all fire, so you can’t go wrong.

I’ve reached the end of the strains I’ve purchased. Someone else needs to take a chance on the others and report back.

It took mine maybe 45 minutes to really get going. So yeah, I guess it’s a little slower onset than others.

Yeah, about 45 minutes. Usually takes me 30, except for the 6/19 Socal Red Bali. And this.

It's pretty much like you guys said it is. Mental focus but relaxed at the same time. Pain relief for me today about a 7. Started off with some intense euphoria, glad I didn't have to drive somewhere right then.

I had to cancel my first order (bad payment method for me) of a quarter of Red Borneo. After further reading, I ended up placing another order and adding another quarter of Gold Borneo and a few samples of some of their MDs to bring my order to $100 to get the free shipping. Will let you know my thoughts when I get my order.

I just opened my half kilo of red Borneo from my second order to compare to the quarter from my first. It’s definitely not the same batch - different color. I think they ran out of that batch shortly after I got mine and the one you guys have been getting is the batch after that. They also have another new batch no one has tried yet I guess.

I’m going to try this second batch tomorrow to see if it is as good. It’s different from what I sent herbalhippie. People have been saying they really like it, so I hope it is close to as good as my first batch. I emailed to see if maybe I was sent from the new new batch, but I think that first batch (which was very special) is just gone. When I wrote that first review, I looked on the site and it wasn’t in stock. Then it came back a few days later. Hopefully they start using batch numbers as has been suggested.

Yeah the sample you sent me has a very slight bent color and taste. I think it is a little better than this more current batch.

In my opinion, if the sample you sent me was better than the 6/18 Socal Red Bali then the Red Borneo from that newer batch is about on a par with it. My experience and my opinion only.

I know a lot of people thought that red Bali was fire and to me it was a somewhat better-than-average red.

eta: Tomorrow or Tuesday I'll try them both, the 6/18 Red Bali and the more recent Red Borneo and see what I think. I haven't tried them close together yet.

Maybe I’ll do the same. Tomorrow is newer red Borneo, and Tuesday I will do red Bali and then the original red Borneo. Maybe I’ll also take the red Borneo I bought from them 3 or so years ago.
