[Personal Experience] Evolution of my dosing schedule

What follows is only my own personal experience. I'm in no way suggesting what you should do. Everyone is different. Listen to your own body. What may work for me, may not work for you or others. What may work for others, may or may not work for me or you.

This morning I was thinking about how my "dosing schedule" has changed over the past 2 years. When I first started dosing regularly / daily, I worked my way up to dosing every 4 - 6 hours 3 or 4 times a day. I think at that time I was using 4 grams per dose (give or take, depending on the day / circumstance). I did that for many months, but didn't like how my tolerance was growing, so I took a T-break to reset and made myself a very strict schedule / "guidelines" for myself, which if you choose, can be read here . This schedule, in short, consisted of limiting myself to 2 doses daily, 4 grams each (keeping my daily total down to 8g). That worked for a while and then my doses started creeping up again. Long story short, I, over time, migrated from two 4 grams doses daily to one 8-10 gram dose per day. That one large daily dose luckily didn't last too long... because every once in a while it wasn't just once a day (no bueno!) I put myself on a very strict taper schedule, which I'll have to post some other time (I have it logged in my journal). That worked very well. Within 2 weeks, I was back down to an amount I'm more comfortable with. I probably could have taken a T-break at this point, but didn't. Today, I usually only dose once per day (there are exceptions when I do twice) and I'm currently at 5 grams. 5 to 7 grams daily seems to be keeping my symptoms in check and allows me to get through my days. The earlier in the day I dose (usually around 10am), the better. If I dose too late in the day, or take a second dose, it seems to really mess with my sleep... which saddens me, because I used to use our precious leaf for sleep too. But that hasn't worked for me for quite some time and even a very sedating red will usually keep me awake most, if not all, of the night. Oh well, that's how it goes with good ol' Kratom.

How has your dosing evolved? I understand if you're new you may just be figuring it all out. My only suggestion right now would be, try to keep 'em as low as possible. Many say less is more and I've said that many times as well. Right now, I can honestly say less is better. Less, is certainly, better. And for me, currently, less often seems to be better too.
