I think I’m going to order the sampler but I’m a reds gal. I’ll have to search here to see if there are any other recommendations for reds. How was the white Malay?
Yes i confirm he got quality stuff, most stuff i got from him, i enjoyed and still do. I would go with smiley but they still don't have payment option i use. Sosa works great!

Sosa also has nearly all other vendors beat price wise by a considerable margin, so there's that
I emailed him and asked about faster reds. He said faster ones were red md, red Malay, red Borneo, and red anjungan. Red bali and red horn are slower but very good. Super red isn’t slow but it’s fermented. Red jungle is slow. Red bone f9 is slower but the other 2 are mid spec.
Green Vietnam is very good and energetic. He also recommended yellow Vietnam and yellow md.

I just ordered the green Vietnam and green Jungle, I haven't had anything from Sosa that isn't string dried? I've got high hopes cuz he got me through the rainy season.
I thought the red Indo and red Borneo are the fastest reds I've had from the string dried selection, red Indo is one of my go to's

Some people here have said that the reds are faster than they are used to, I'm not a red guy but the red Indo was some of the strongest batches I've had this year. They are strong "green" reds, unlike the "fermented" Brown stuff that seems to be going around ( not knocking the fermented stuff) I have plenty of that, I keep going back to Sosa's stuff for my daily rotation, even reds!!
I have 10 strains from March and April, I checked they're all the same flour-like consistency. I also have 5 from a few months ago and haven't noticed any grainyness. What strain(s) are you talking about?
FuckHeroin wrote:Yes the string drieds are usually always coarse
All of the strains are string dried, except for the agus. Mine aren't coarse.[/quote
No, the "string dried premiums" are listed below the regular strains. I think they may be from a different supplier, I think I read that on a post here?

I'm sorry but you're mistaken. Believe me, I thought the same thing, so I contacted him. This is a direct quote from Sosa:
"All the strains listed on the site are string dried except the Agus Red and Green Bone which are rack dried indoors.'
I think the premiums are different and cost more than the regular strains, but they are all string dried, except the agus. I do think the site could stand to clarify that. Email him and ask.

I'm sorry. I was misinformed about that, If you asked him yourself, I believe it I really like the premium, IMO they are the best on the market right now.

Vein type?
How impressive and what strains were they for you !?
I've posted some new reviews on the other Sosa double sample thread.
Green Thai, green Kali, red Bali, white motan, few others. Fav so far are white motan and yellow Vietnam. Have yet to make up my mind on red banjar and red malay
I noticed that too. Much easier to understand now. I think there's some language barrier there, before when I emailed him he said everything was string dried, now it's divided onto different pages. Other times I've emailed him I don't feel like my point got across entirely.

Yeah I dont think Ive ever seen all there strains lol. Much clearer. Maybe now I can get an order together. Always had trouble pulling the trigger with SoSa cause I couldnt figure out what I was getting . ( I have to find the directions for displaying and image url)
So do the premiums cost more? It says something about special editions on his prices page...I'm still confused
Sometimes we are able to acquire or have our farmers produce special batches of unique strains that are very rare and also very limited. As we have to pay extra for getting the premium choice of leaves and having them processed in ways that require much more work and time, we will not be able to sell it at the regular price.
BTW you can save the pic and add it as an attachment on your post. Otherwise the image tags next to the quote button [ img ] would work I think?

Hey guys I’m new here. I’ve been lurking for a couple weeks. I just found kratom and it’s been an amazing time. I get migraines pretty regularly along with lesser headaches several times a month. A friend showed me kratom and I’ve been using it daily for the last 14 days. I haven’t had a single migraine or even smaller headache this whole time. That’s unheard of for me. This message board has really helped me get my bearing with this plant. Anyway...I found SOSA by looking around here. I’ve tried quite a few of his strains. And I got a message from him earlier stating: “I have only been charging $25 per 250. Sometimes if the batches are very small I will have to limit them and charge $30 but that hasn't been the case recently as the farmer has been doing a great job at processing larger amounts. I've got a fresh batch in if you'd like to order some of those.” I’m waiting right now to find out if that means the $70 kilo price is available for string dried. I’ll post when he does. Thank you all for helping me learn about this amazing leaf.
EDIT: Ok he just messaged me back. The $70 kilo price is available for the string dried strains now!!

Very surprised I’ve seem very little regarding his batches
Hmm
Yes I have been having amazing experiences so far for sure!!! I plan on posting reviews mid to late week in the double Sosa thread I started .....just need to do a bit more testing first. So far some standouts are White Bali (similar to rva but waaaayyy better!!!), Red Malay, red jungle, red Kali, red Borneo, yellow Vietnam, super green, green Borneo and I'm.sufe will be multiple others. Keep in mind I have a handful of other whites that were sent to me on accident in place of my second sampler and then he sent my actual order and pretty much doubled it to make up for it which was insanely awesome.service and super stoked on it still days later, and I don't typically like super energetic strains especially whites and fast yellows but I'm giving some a shot since I got them..... I'm trying the new much talked about White Motan in the morning and like I said the White Bali is a beautifully slow super warm relaxing and body numbing strains similar to RVA White Bali bit like very refined or something if you will haha.
I do really like the White Motan myself
And the White Bali too
But have only burned both of them once or twice so far.
I guess I will make sure to put them in sight to remind me to take in the next 24 hrs!
Thats really great they’re working so well for you!
The newer batches dont seem to have the “fine grind” I loved so much like the previous batches tho.
Will have to take a closer look!
Not necessarily a big deal just that I really enjoyed the graininess

I think the new batches you are referring to are the rack dried strains? I've still got a few of those I haven't tried (Vietnam, Banjar, Aceh) my tolerance is kinda high, I'm afraid to test anything new until I get a handle on it! So, I'm sticking to the stuff I know will work right now, STRING DRIED PREMIUMS!!

Yeah SOSA and Kraydo have been my consistent tried and true favorites lately especially for strong slow reds and Kraydo for slow greens especially. I had been solely ordering RVA for almost a year up until shortly after new year and decided to branch out and realized what I was missing from my favorite type of burns which is of course the super slow help my chronic pain and insomnia strains. So yeah SOSA overall I have been loving for months and honestly I'd say I like the rack dried probably same as the string dried I bought in a bit more bill already. Keep in mind though, I freeze all my doses now and use ACV so it actually melts alot of the actual powder so maybe I'm not noticing the difference in grinds as much idk.....
