Liza's Red Jambu

Post by Kaidensmom »

I am going through a terrible time in my life right now. It's one of those magical times where your stress level is impacting your pain level, and your pain level rapidly intensifies your stress level; toss in a decent amount of anxiety, sprinkle in a bit of depression, and you've got a big steaming pot of awesome.

Thankfully, I had a package in the mail from Liza today, and in that package she included a sample of Red Jambu.

Within 15 minutes of dosing, I could feel the stress melting away. Seriously. The warmth started in my head, my shoulders relaxed, the pain started to recede, and it felt like one big cozy exhale. Within an hour the pain was completely gone, my mood had significantly lightened, and I was calm and fully relaxed. I'm just about to hit hour 3, and I'm still pain and anxiety free. I really don't want to waste this feeling of contentedness by taking a nap, but red Jambu is starting to lead me towards sedation, and I can tell that the nap would be an amazing one.

On a traditional rating scale, I'd give it a 10/10

Thank you, Liza.

I checked Liza’s website

I asked the MeWe community

I asked Liza herself via email

Then I saw that you said, “sample”!

Red Jambu must be very new
Unreleased New! *

Kaidensmom this is beyond incredible.
I would loove to try this asap
I admire Liza’s leaf and passion toward being friendly.
This is what life’s all about.
Leaf that changes our lives
And personal encounters that keep us positive

Thanks for sharing Ksmom!
:P

Ive felt this way myself from Liza’s stock
It is extraordinary!

Thanks for the review Kaidensmom. The Red Jambu is posted on the site now. I went ahead and ordered some as well. I also got the Red Labai, White Dayak, and Red Hulu. Liza’s reds usually work pretty well for me - and a 10/10 rating is pretty rare. I just couldn’t resist.

Does anyone know... Jambu IS a TRUE Malaysian strain of kratom !!! :o

I mean it was BIG, big, news a few months ago when both Thailand & Malaysia voted to legalize Cannabis and Kratom. News Link below.. WHY is this such a big deal? Because 90% of all kratom now comes from the same area in Borneo. It's been rumored that REAL Thai & Malaysian kratom has some different stronger alkaloids...

Recently.. K-OG became the first U.S. Vendor to sell REAL Thai & Malaysian strains.. The #1 top premium Malaysian leaf is called.. Jambu. The word Jambu means "mango", it's actually a fruit that grows in Malaysia, looks kind of like an apple. K-OG says: "Jambu is the most expensive variant of Malaysian powder." http://www.kratom-og.com/product/malaysian-jambu/

So NOW... Liza's throws it out on the website, no Description? We KNOW that Liza's seems to carry many K-OG strains, right, OK we don't know whether it's wholesale from K-OG, or using the same Indo suppliers... I really, really, hope it's not somebody cashing in on the Jambu name? No I don't think Liza would do that.. IS this True Malaysian Jambu? OR... does anyone care. Maybe it's all the same, and I'm a weirdo for asking. :geek:

Well I pulled the trigger on this strain from Liza and will let you all know what I think. I'm not typically a huge red fan but if the right one comes along, well .. you know how it is.

Ballz,
This is always great info and the facts are insightful af!
That Jambu at first I thought was a Red Pepper
Haha would def be willing to try it some day.
Btw earlier,
I dosed some K-OG Malaysian Jambu W!TH their Green Malaysian today and its a new favorite blend!
Very very lovely 8-)
Took a while tbh to feel both the Grn Malaysian & Malay Jambu’s effects and I mean not this burn but in general it seemed to take 3 attempts at least until it kicked in entirely..

I ordered some Liza Red Jambu and hope it is the Real thing. Im curious as well...

I’m also not A huge Red vein fanatic but am giving this Red Jambu a definite go
I have Hope!

Burned the Red Jambu earlier this evening. Glad I got a big-ass bag to begin with. It’s just my first burn with it, so it’s really too early to rate it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it tonight. It’s not quite as “benty” as most of Liza’s reds so that was a nice surprise too. It is a dark green, but it does have a slight fermented taste to it. Onset was quick (about 10 minutes) and strong. Wasn’t sedating to me but wasn’t all that energetic either. Great muscle relaxation, pain relief, and strong euphoria too. Mood lift was good as well. Hope my next burn with it is just as good.

Also wanted to add - Liza’s customer service is awesome! She’s super-friendly and gets those orders out fast. I had tracking within a few hours of ordering. I ordered Monday afternoon and my package was in the mailbox today (Wednesday) when I got home from work. She also threw in a couple of samples without me asking. In this order I got the Jambu and then White Dayak and Elephant, Red Labai, Hulu and Jongkong, plus Yellow Banjo so I’m super-excited to try the rest of them.

I love dealing with her,I don't feel like I'm bothering a vendor with too many emails, personable communication

One of my best reds right now. The Jambu and the Soulistic Red Hula are my goto for relaxation right now

It is relaxing, ,but not sedating for me anyhow, ,pain relief is awesome, ,I have been blending with ST greens,,Malaysia monster with jambu seems to be favorite so far,,adds a bit more energy, ,but on its own it's great too,,actually haven't been using red bali or Vietnam as much,,,,I will definitely keep this in rotation, ,

I ordered a couple ounces before it sold out. It's good. Not the worst I've had from her and not the best. Worth buying, pleasant effects, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over missing out on this one. It's hardly an earth shaker.

I know what you mean Maxx. And this comment is just my opinion. I notice this distinction all the time in these forums. One type of user really appreciate relaxing reds like the Jambu and another type can take it or leave it. The Red has a very subtle onset and some dont notice its effects at all. I personally really value these Reds because they minimize stress and anxiety. Of course you have to have stress and anxiety to connect with this strain. Its kind of similar to heavy pain killing leaf. People who dont have pain dont care for it and wonder what the fuss is all about. Jambu reminds me of a good classic Red Bali like Socal's maybe with a bit narrower spectrum. Soulistic Red Hula is another one. I dig that you arent excited about it but I look for reds in this genre. Thats just my own personal take on this.

I'm always looking for relaxing reds, and this one wasn't bad at all, but I don't think it's as good some. For me it wasn't as relaxing as her Red Zombie, or as sedating as her Red Monster, or as euphoric as her Red Bali, but I don't regret picking it up when I had the chance. I've never had anything from Liza that I thought was bad. Not sure how she manages that, but she does.

I can say anything about current batches, but the ones I picked up around the beginning of the year are fire. Red Big Bang and Red Dragon were also good. They're worth dropping $5 for an oz to try, imo.
