Cast my spell of hope
Maybe it can save me from the dope
Please I need a boat
To cross this ocean of hate
So I can finally escape
Finally see what this body can make
Tired of the mirages it’s all fake
What else will this world take

Sinking into the abyss
Feeling deaths sweet kiss
Everything went to shit
I just wanted to shift
Into something more
Instead I crashed into the floor
Shaken down deep to the core
Waiting on the right paths door

I can have my cake, and eat it to
Though I can still feel blue
Looking for a clue
For what I should do
Walking in beat up shoes
Toward the shore of another life
Only to find out it’s another lie
At this point why do I even try
Is it really just to get by
It I had the choice I rather thrive

Trapped in the dark
Going for a walk in the park
Suddenly I hear a bark
Then things go black
Am I under attack
My body goes slack
Slowly my eyes close
Dreaming of red roses
People dancing in poses
Is this really it
Cut apart, and left adrift
Man life can be a dick

Cut to the quick
Life is a beautiful
Until you feel that whip
Watching from my cubicle
Hoping for a change
Yet things remain the same
Drowning in so much shame
Not one to pass blame
Proud of my name
My family is so lame
Making me feel like I was maimed
