I Miss Denette's White Horned Elephant SK11

D615's White Horned Elephant SK11 has got to be one of the very best whites I've come across, but unfortunately it's now just a fond memory. I have TFH whites that are fantastic (White Rimbun Rimba Kali, 30 Year Wild White), but there was something really special about the White Horned Elephant's energetic focus. Curious to know if anyone else experienced the same.

I too enjoyed the White Horned Elephant a lot, though I love the White Berang even more. His current white sumatra is really good, a slower earthy tasting white for afternoons and evenings.

SK supplier seems to have fire in general, it's my favorite of Denette's suppliers which is saying a lot considering how good his KA and CK strains are.

I don't know if you buy from Rhino Remedies but he has great whites as well. Lonestar Mitrasource also gets good reviews for his whites tho I haven't tried his current White Ketapang.

hah - yeah. the white berang is fantastic. Glad you mentioned that - i was feeling all depressed that i didn't have the white horned elephant, lol (before my denette time). and i just picked up the white sumatra. it's hard to go wrong with denette strains. I try to almost every day...

(i use pretty small amounts these days, so i'm always open to trading samples of current strains for 'vintage' strains).

I've got the Berang and it's great, agreed. Will keep trying the SK's and maybe get lucky again. And I have not yet tried Rhino or Lonestar but will look into their whites. Thanks for the recommendations !

I miss D’s White Dew! For me it was the best white of his and possibly of all the whites I have besides STH white glow from fall 2020 (which if anyone has this specific batch & is willing to sell/trade for, I’d be interested in getting more of both white glow & white dew as well as Smiley Time Herbals White Smile from June. I enjoy the slower leaning, more euphoric whites that start off with a mood lifting boost before getting nice & cozy.

Great news, Liza's Botanicals Super Pure WMD is actually fairly similar to D615's Horned Elephant SK11 if anyone else is looking for something close. Really glad I tried Liza's

Tried it 3-4 times with no luck. Probably just 15-20 grams missing in a 125g bag. It’s the SK11 batch too. Let me know.

SK19's and Grampa-Q6 just dropped Tuesday so you'll probably have to wait until early next week to get reviews on those. I've heard nothing but good things about the Red Midnight CK30. Just bought some. Supposed to be a slower, night time red with warmth and great pain relief. CK strains tend to be great for body feels IME, and I've only had CK greens, golds & yellows.

and yes - the red midnight deserves the space in one's collection next to the yellow midnight. Both of these are in my favorite denette strains

Against my (not so good) better judgment I ordered ANOTHER kilo from Eric - yipes, I have GOT to stop visiting these forums (the Red Midnight was the deciding factor, although I picked up three more mentioned here I did not have).

And now I'm reading about the LSMS Halloween drop and... I'm really, really sick (can kratom sickness be cured? I know - it just requires a lot more kratom :>).

So glad to hear this -- wonder how close it resembles the SK11? I will know in a couple days, and will also have to check out the red and yellow midnight as well.
