The MF Agmatine Report
Agmatine sulfate can potentiate the pain-relieving effects of kratom, but it can also reduce the mood-boosting effects of kratom. This is because agmatine sulfate works by increasing the levels of nitric oxide in the brain, which can improve communication between neurons. This can lead to pain relief, but it can also reduce the mood-boosting effects of kratom, which are thought to be due to the release of dopamine in the brain.
If you are taking kratom for pain relief, you may want to consider adding agmatine sulfate , wether it lowers your tolerance I am not sure but if you take kratom for pain and your willing to trade the mood boost for more pain relief this suits you well. I would highly recommend liftmode dot com as they have the highest purity supplements I have found. Also there is some research showing agmatine sulfate as being useful as an antidepressant but keep in mind this is based on animal studies whereas all the other stuff I mentioned is human tested human approved. It's worth noting I am not affiliated with liftmode I just noticed throughout trial and error that they had the best product.

Start at 500g move up to a gram. Some people go higher but I haven't found dosing higher than 1.2g to be any more effective.

If you microwave water for your dose don't put the agamatine in. Sometimes I microwave water and then dump my supplements and leaves in

Re: The MF Agmatine Report
I'd like to add this anecdotal info for folks here.
On a whim a week or two ago I tried agmatine with each dose. At first it seemed to potentiate the dose, both in pain relief AND in euphoria. However, it then stopped working AND stopped my kratom from working.
This was particularly disheartening as I had been on a roll - about six to eight months of EVERYYTHING hitting and hitting hard. I do not know if the Agmatine was directly responsible, but I stopped it and after three days kratom was hitting again. But for those three days it was as if I wasn't taking kratom at all - just zero effects. I have not used it since and I will not.
So - a cautionary tale. Just be aware that at least for one person it seemed to knock out ALL the effects of kratom.

I have a similar tale. It sits, large and clumpy, deep in my cupboard. One of those "gee, that works too" but at what expense?!Kelleytoons wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 11:26 am I'd like to add this anecdotal info for folks here.

Re: The MF Agmatine Report
For me the euphoria was just fine and even enhanced by the agmatine. The problem was that after around three days kratom stopped working entirely. No effects. AND even after stopping the agmatine it was still no-go for three days. But I persisted, did not increase my 2-3 grams dosage (usually 2 of white/green, 3 of red) and on the fourth day or so everything started hitting again.
I should most likely throw that bottle of agmatine out, so I won't make that mistake again. I'm not sure I can see any upside in keeping it.

I would throw it out also. It sounds like "drugs " Great for a few days and then SOMETHING switches from third gear to reverse and you're fighting to get back out of reverse again. Pretty soon you can't even reach the clutch ....yeah, throw that shit out.Kelleytoons wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 5:10 pm For me the euphoria was just fine and even enhanced by the agmatine. We have another thing in common besides the twelve o'clock dose schedule, we also need our kratom to work. E'ery single day.

I have some agmatine i plan to use ONLY for my t break coming up soon and ONLY if needed. Glad I didn’t decide to try and “potentiate” my burns with it.

[ did a 6 day break last week and went back to crickets. I was taking agmatine on my break and now, after kelleytoons experience, I wonder if that was why my return went south. (I'm on another longer break now) so if you use agmatine on a break, maybe stop a few days before your completion. Thanks Kelley!

Re: The MF Agmatine Report
Yes after reading this thread I plan to only use if I absolutely have to & will definitely not take within 3 days of my break ending. I’m hoping that utilizing BSO & Kava will be enough. Maybe I’ll get lucky and won’t need any of it. This is my first t break so I just wanna be prepared for the worst.boureka wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 7:10 am[ did a 6 day break last week and went back to crickets. Re: The MF Agmatine Report
I just threw it in the trash. What's *really* ironic is that in looking at my Amazon ordering I apparently tried this stuff back in the day (a few years ago) when I was first starting kratom and read about this as a potentiator. But I stopped then as well and back then my kratom wasn't hitting at all (I blamed it on the vendors I was using - it *might* have been those, as I then upgraded by visiting here, but it also might have been I was just blocking it with the damned agmatine).
I would say "never again" but I'm so old I might forget A THIRD TIME. Sigh.

Strategic, roundabout research goes far and I bet you know that.. "nitric oxide in the brain" adds more depth alongside the obvious since jacking that up is highlighted in a way - well I haven't seen it hang in the air like that before.
Or be recommended to people that use kratom for pain. Is that by someone who is not doing that?
It just suggests that something - well every one does their own research so in light of that - great lead.

If it's not broken then wtf
kratom works as well as your willing to have it be. Don't complicate things.

Protein nitrotyrosination is an irreversible process that also yields to the accumulation of the modified proteins contributing to the onset and progression of neurodegenerative processes such as Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.
^ that is in reference to nitric oxide in the brain.

So...I guess I'm tossing my half bottle of agmatine into the rubbish bin. Thanks Kelley etc. And when I first saw this thread, I wondered what the MF in MF agmatine was. I guess I know now

Re: The MF Agmatine Report
I tried it a few times. .3 grams Agmatine with 3grams Kratom. It did a little "potentiating", but the calmness was not present. I am throwing my MF Agmatine away ALSO!!

Re: The MF Agmatine Report
I got some agmatine powder a year and a half back, took some 600mg or so caps (size 00) of it i made for a couple weeks (1 a day). honestly, i didn't notice anything at all. but i also rarely feel kratom really 'hit' me. to me it's (kratom) more of a mood stabilizer thing. so not a super useful comment, just wanted to add one more anecdote. *shrug*
