Driving through Arkansas
So I’m moving cross country tomorrow and have to go through Arkansas where having more than 25g of kratom can get u 10 years in jail lmao. Throwing away my stash tonight, I don’t care - rip. Just so insane how much legality changes in Arkansas. Lame law

Re: Driving through Arkansas
I have to say that this alone would keep me from EVER going through that state - I would detour 500 miles to avoid it.
Luckily I can't even envision a need for this precaution (in my old age retirement driving south to Miami is about the most "trip" I ever want to take).

Lol I’d consider the detour if my stash was big like it used to be. No big deal, but definitely not worth the risk to go through there with any of it. It’s honestly unbelievable a sample bag can cost a huge chunk of life and money. Glad I did research last minute…

https://www.marijuanamoment.net/study-s ... d-opioids/
THEIR OWN F-ING STUDY shows they should legalize marijuana nationally to help fight the "opioid crisis." I'm sure the exact same study with kratom in the place of pot would show the same. Are they going to do anything to ACTUALLY fight everyone dying all around us all day long? Nope. Their answer is extremely expensive Suboxone or nothing, so how do you feel about eating things that taste like bitter orange?
Funny they used the word unregulated there instead of, say...deadly....or illegal....
Remember, kratom is an "unregulated opioid" to them.
So I'll add to "complete insanity" with your permission, and say "blatant corruption"

Re: Driving through Arkansas
This is interesting...I found this at https://katv.com/news/local/dea-moves-t ... it-illegal
At the end of the article it says:
"The DEA’s ban on kratom is temporary, a two-year ban so the DEA can investigate and do more research on the drug. If research finds there is no public-health risk, kratom could be removed from the controlled substances list, but likely not here in Arkansas."
I wonder how that is going to work out.?

Does anyone know the ostensible reason for pulling over Brown late that night? It's as though they knew she was "carrying" and were waiting to pounce.

Too bad we can't secure our borders against the REAL drug problems. Oh, wait, President Stupid says no.

I have been wondering the same thing! Because it sounds like she was pulled over immediately after crossing the state line, which makes it sound as if they somehow knew and were waiting for her to slip up. It also sounds like it might be an area where the state line isn’t marked with a sign, since she said she had no idea she’d left the state.

They want us on suboxone or methadone.. there is no other form of maintenance allowed.. It’s crazy what this plant has done for me, I tried everything to stay sober and kratom has worked for 6+ years. No craving, no relapse. Just success!

Just kidding, yeah, me too. I THINK I'm going on seven no opioids, but same damn thing. Success! It feels so good turning down apprehensive doctors when they begrudgingly offer you pills and are certain you'll love them.
I always bitch about the dope dreams. Hahaha!

Re: Driving through Arkansas
Yeah but the doctors are really special to me.
It's almost like....for a second they want to try to talk me into the pills. The irony!!

Besides, it's really fun telling a doctor to fuck off with your eyes.
I mean, I'm not crazy about it, though. I know that i AM getting old and maybe one day I'll need to get them again. Olden age is painful, even if nothing else.
