I've got so many songs that I believe are amazing, but here are a few that are really good.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT88tym ... qoR7jAoHK0 NIN -Still. Amazing album my fav songs are - something I can never have ,The Becoming,The Fragile and then all the others.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EHqpiw50j8 Teddy Swims - Tennessee Whiskey (Live From Our Basement)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CICIOJqEb5c Bill Withers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyfudKQLaa8 Slipknot- Gently(live). Its from disasterpieces dvd, which is probably the best live heavy metal vocals ever.Takes about 55ish seconds before he starts singing.
I'll stop now cause I could go on for a long time.

Songbird is so pretty. Her voice is sweet and haunting.

I need to listen to more pre-Stevie/Lindsey stuff. It has a totally different sound.

It really does and (unpopular opinion incoming), I was never a fan of Stevie Nicks.

Here are a few of my favorite older ones

i love poppyseed bagels with scallion cream cheese. Loved the Bagel Lady lived half a block away and gave me some soups sometime. helped me out tons when i was a broke student. that and fascati's $2 large slice of pepperoni with garlic knots and a small soda. And the top ramen i got from gristedes, 10 for $10, i got to try all the wonkly flavors.

The Doors is my all time fave. The crystal method, but i haven't heard anything after divided by night.

Yeah, I've seen that video...excellent! Love Riverside, very similar to Porcupine Tree. I have quite a bit of Riverside's
music downloaded to my PC and a couple of CD's around here somewhere.

I discovered Porcupine Tree around 2008-09 and I was blown away. They were about all I listened to for over a year!
I have like 17 Porcupine Tree CD's in my collection and 100's of downloads of their music.

Anesthetize is one of my favorites, but there are so many....

This one is another that blows me away....

Excellent jam! I hadn't seen that one. Yeah, we do have a lot in common on the music the front. Gary Moore
was with Thin Lizzy for a short time after his stint with Skid Row from what I remember. Most of what I heard
from him back in the day was the jazz fusion stuff with Colosseum which really wasn't my thing. His blues oriented
material is excellent!

If you haven't checked out early Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green and Danny Kirwan, you definitely should. They
really have that 60's-70's feel and their guitar playing is phe...phen...er, stellar. :)

Gary Moore left us 12 years ago. I saw him live in 1978 playing with Thin Lizzy,,. His thing was raw emotion, both his guitar and vocals. Known for Instrumentals and 20+ albums from hard Rock to electric Blues. He could certainly play jazz; or metal; and write songs; and put his feelings into music !! Never quite "hit" in America... not country enough?

Mellow great songwriting. One Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjXmTN_Bqt0

80's Instrumental. The Loner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gcPdeL4Dnc

Rock anti war anthem: Out In The Fields: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsKpazeA5L8

yes, there are now a LOT of Gary Moore video's on YouTube... some of his Live performances, Montreaux etc are amazing! 8-)

It's really some of the strangest, most interesting, stories in Rock music history - On Tour their lead singer & front man, Jeremy Spencer, takes a walk outside the hotel room in Los Angeles; meets some attractive young women - and disappears. He joined the "Children of God", a religious cult.

Then On Tour in Germany when Peter Green attended a party at a hippie commune, and consumed a massive dose of LSD - was unable to leave for days and, according to most accounts it caused a complete mental breakdown... His last song "Green Manalishi" was like a minor key nightmare hallucination. He was never the same again. Quit music for 20 years.

It goes on and on... Bob Welch joined the band and produced a few hit songs, Guitar and vocal. Didn't get along with Danny Kirwan, who became drunk and miserable... Welch then was kicked out & not even invited to their Hall Of Fame induction. He died broke and depressed in 2012, gunshot to the head... Kirwan was homeless for something like 20 years and died on the streets of London.

ALL of the early Green, blues material is wonderful - He was good friends with Gary Moore as well. :ugeek:

Yes, me too. IMHO Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac was far superior to the Buckingham Nicks version. The
Buckingham Nicks version of Fleetwood Mac was okay, but not my favorite. I thought it to be a bit too commercial. I've
often thought that the early version of Fleetwood Mac would have been as big, maybe bigger, than Zeppelin, Floyd and
a few others if they had maintained the original personel. I first discovered them driving to the local record shop with a
lifelong friend, I believe it was late 1969 or early 1970. The complete version of Oh Well was playing on the radio and we
were blown away. Betcha can't guess which album went into my collection that evening!?! 8-)

Around 1979 Mac had Top 10 hits, and this song about Ms Nicks, was released as a prank on 45; sung "mockney" style (American imitate British cockney accent!)... well... Fleetwood Mac got very angry & using their money paid a Team of lawyers, to contact every Record Store in L.A. & demand the 45 be taken off shelf... sadly Tower Records actually gave in!! Here is the song: BANNED by Stevie Nicks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0cKs_h59yk
