Herbs and supplements

Post by hiding007 »

What other herbs and/or supplements are good for overall anxiety relief?

Which are good for panic attacks?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about Herbs, but... The Rx blood pressure medication - Propranolol - IS often prescribed for Anxiety. Mild, low-dose, short term, med that blocks anxiety - For a couple hours, when you anticipate a stressful "event" like Public Speaking for example. :geek:

Benzo's... Xanax also works in low dose, but it's not for everyone. But definitely works. Aprazolam. More difficult to get, compared to Propranolol.

I'd Google natural help for anxiety. Things that come to mind are kava, ashwagandha, Lemon Balm. magnesium, lion's mane. L-theanine

I have some lemon balm drops, and also valerian on the advice of a friend, but the anxiety I was having went away right after I bought them so I haven't used them yet.

L-theanine is pretty good. It creates a sense of calm, but also might make you drowsy. Still though, it's great for relaxing. It's an amino acid (and also reduces kratom tolerance as a bonus!).
