Probably obsessed. I got my last orders in Tuesday from okie and mystic island. I tried to cancel an order with okie for 3 two oz bags and they ended up shipping it anyway with the sample pack. Was missing a half oz sample and the 3 freebies were different but I can’t complain.

Anyway I realize I’ve made some mistakes in my early purchases vendor-wise but I guess it’s common. I went on a shopping spree when I started burning over 2 weeks ago, and I have samples from C.O.B., Gaia, Kratora, SoCal, canopy, herbal rva, herbal salv, okie, and mystic. They’re mostly whites with less greens and lesser reds.

I want to let you decide who I should sample from and whether you’re interested in a particular strain or vendor because I don’t want my experience with these to go to waste. I’d rather help someone else find something that works and to know what doesn't. I don’t have much experience so im just going to say whether i felt anything or not with what I’ve tried already.

C.O.B - I bought RMD, G Riau, W Indo, G Vietnam. He gave me a bonus of SG Borneo which turned out to be bunk. The Riau worked. The RMD got upgraded to Premium, haven’t tried that or the indo or Vietnam.

Gaia - G Hulu worked, R Hulu worked great, W Thai not really, got nauseaous the first time second time nothing noticeable, may try again, G Horn seemed weak. Haven’t tried W Borneo or W horn yet.

Kratora - W Horn was weak, W Borneo will have to try again didn’t feel much the first time. Got stem and vein yet to try.

Herbal salvation - W Borneo worked, W Ketapang will have to try again, was strange. Haven’t tried R Hulu, GMD or RMD.

Herbal RVA - G Hulu worked, W Bali worked well. haven’t tried W Borneo, W Hulu, or R hulu.

Canopy - Just did some R Ketapang and was amazing, walked through wegmans with zero anxiety. Haven’t tried G Horn, W Ketapang, W Hulu, G Ketapang, G Malay, or the two free samples, W elephant and GMD.

Mystic island - Tried G Horn but don’t remember what happened. Haven’t tried bentuangie, R Horn, G Malay, W Malay, Phatcracker, and mystic vampire.

Socal - haven’t tried any. G Hulu, G Riau, G bentuangi, WMD, PW Sunda, W Borneo, Thai red horn? A mix? Hybrid?, Red Thai, Red Indo, yellow Sunda.

Okiekratom - Haven’t tried any. G Thai, G Horn, R Horn, W Thai, W Sumatra, W jongkong, WMD, W Asia.

Go stem and vein from glazba also. White green and red. yet to try. Would love to hear some suggestions. Haven’t been able to find any uptodate info on latest strains/vendors besides here. No luck with FB.

One of the things i miss most about living in western NY, wegmans. The grocery stores in florida don't compare lol

Hi Psilocyber, OK lets see... out of these vendors, Okie Kratom is 1 of the best IMO for reliable quality. So don't cancel them!!

Otherwise, you've got RVA, Canopy, Mystic, SoCal .. and after that, a few undesirables. A few that had been kicked off the Vendor List, for one reason or another.. You've got a couple large old vendors who re-called some dirty contaminated product.. HS and Gaia both have a recent history of complaints, poor service, and or lousy leaf. Compared to better choices of course.

Big Changes from 1 year ago. 2 years ago. yes it's common to Google stuff and then get excited and start using your credit card. They're all happy to take your money haha .. Reddit Search is useful, in some cases, however in 2018, I think "big" is not necessarily "good" as far as vendors .. Kratora seems to be a fraud, but who knows? Glazba had some real problems. COB was exposed on MeWe as a convicted child molester. His leaf is probably OK, however there's angry customers as you could imagine

You're gonna enjoy a LOT of those samples, and you done good I think by getting variety! New kratomites get off on pretty much anything, for awhile .. until finally tolerance kicks in and, with experience you'll figure out your favorites.

SoCal's Customer Service is top notch for a big vendor.. However their huge variety means, unless U know what U lookin' for.. could be a crapshoot. They carry some best quality, and some below average. I use SoCal's FB group for tips on whats hot. Back to... Okie Kratom. I just got an order. So far the JongKong and Banjo strains I sampled are very nice.. thanks for posting!

So this is great!! I did the same thing, but getting a bunch of samples is the ideal way to start this cray-zay ride so no worries!
Most of the time Kratom basics are gonna go: x strain is (fast/ energizing or relaxing/sedating) if it seems neither or a little of both its balanced/mid strain
And
X strain gives me a little mood lift/euphoria or a lot of mood lift/euphoria or any amount in between I just say it how I feel it. That little bit of info surprisingly, gives us a lot to work with.
Hopefully, that's a little helpful? It's definitely hard to develop an opinion sometimes when we don't know what were looking for

I have 0 idea how to stick a link but I started a post called 'Mystic Island.. Done kinda disheveled.' That has tons of info on MI strains.. members are continuing to add current experiences (which I am super grateful for) so the info is as up to date as it most likely can be, imo.
Next: I LOVED all the Canopy Ketapangs I picked up on my first ever order back in Feb/March.. Especially the White and Yellow.. No all of them! ..final decision. And his White Elephant is as close to Kratom legend as it gets lol I would love to get your take on that strain
Also, the White Asia from Okie is one of my all-time top 5 favorites! Good Stuff. I found White MD and White Hulu pretty stimulating if you like those types, the White Asia is a slow/ nonstimulating happy white I am curious how you like the White Jong Kong?.. I've had that one in the cart for a few weeks now.

When I ventured around the us I was quite disappointed in the lack of quality food stores, and by the time I got back I realized how good we really have it up here.

I can definitely see how a bigger vendor would have more lower quality leaf because the demand won’t always equal the supply, especially if their reputation fluctuates. A vendor I want to checkout claims they toss their product if it’s been around more than a week, Krabot I think. A smaller company that runs out of stock all the time tells me it’s quality and it’s fresh every time it’s back again.

So this morning I went ahead and ate some nasty watercress, my god that’s awful, and then burned 1.3g of okies W jongkong. 30 minutes later I wasn’t really feeling anything so I burned another 1.5g. Went for a quick run before my aa mtg, and by the time I got there I started to sense something happening. I fully understand now what people mean by “the wobbles.” Generally I don’t talk much to people or in general but I was definitely doing that now. After the mtg i felt some nausea start to set it and on my lunch break from work I hauled ass to wegmans to grab ginger.

I felt very sociable with a definite mood lift, and borderline jitters of stimulation. Came on slow but lasted all day and not feeling any sort of comedown which I’m really impressed with.

Someone told me once that instead of taking something that increases whatever chemicals are lacking in our brains, get something that improves our brains ability to produce those chemicals on its own, and I think kratom may have this effect, a bit like a teacher plant.

Ahh, the wobbles. I hate that. I've definitely gotten that shaky, nervous and nauseous feeling a few times when I take too much. I find the only thing that helps is to lay down and close my eyes until the feeling passes. What do you take the watercress for?

Gotta love the social mood lift! I get the best mood lifts from white strains. What other white strains do you enjoy? Any particular favorites?

Haven’t done many strains yet to really have a favorite, just glad when I find something that works. The white Bali from Herbal RVA stood out from the rest in its duration and overall pleasantness. Nothing felt lacking or too much.

Says watercress is a potentiator so i randomly saw it in a store and bought it. This morning I put a bunch in a bowl with some oil, turmeric and pepper on it and it was tolerable. Burned 1.3g of okies green Thai 40 minutes later. Maybe my tolerance shot up after yesterday’s burp bc I didn’t feel too much today even with the potentiators. The Thais I’ve had have always been more subtle in effects.

I’ve been comparing my experiences with the kratomaton.com strain ratings and so far Thai is fairly accurate.

I’m completely blown away by how much better I feel overall throughout the day especially interacting with other people. Most of the time I don’t say hello or carry on a conversation but it’s been a lot easier to do that... comfortably.

1.4g w Hulu, Rva. Not much happening, foggy. Pretty sure my tolerance has gone up.
1.5g g. Hulu Gaia. Head pressure, driving a lot, possible mood lift and euphoria, sedation, headache.
Potentiators may not be helping with tolerance... slowing breakdown of alkaloids.
1.2g r Hulu Rva. Relaxed.
1.2g w Borneo Rva. Head pressure. 1.8g 5 hrs later. Mood lift, sociable.
1.2g g Malay mystic. Head pressure. 1.2g 2hrs later. Mood lift, sociable, slight fog, pain relieving.
1.6g WMD okie. taste: bland. 1.5g wmd SoCal on deck, bitter taste, will prolly end up taking it. Been over a half hour and haven’t noticed much from okies wmd.. mildly pleasant sensation.

I’ve ordered Agmatine and magnesium chelate and will be seeing how these help with tolerance and depression overall. A lot of positive reviews with both.
