Anyone tried kratomdistro yet?

Not much info about these guys. A few redditors have said they are good but I take everything on the kratom reddit subs with a grain of salt.

Their sale price seems amazing and I suppose picking up half a kilo for 20 bucks wouldn't be too much a loss if it's not good. Their small sample packs aren't much different in price than others so I'd rather just grab half or full kilo to get the best bang for my buck. Plus by the time I order a sample pack, get it, and test all the samples I won't even be able to grab a sale kilo.

I'm just super picky with my kratom. I have only had a few batches click with me the way I want so having half or a full kilo of sub par kratom would suck too. Gaah!

I talked with the dude and ordered some from him today. Website is a little shoddy but the dude I talked to through email seemed nice and knowledgeable. I’ll write a review here as soon as I try it for everyone waiting to see what’s up before spending their own cash. The deal they got going is unreal though, if this stuff is good or even average that’s a total game changer.

I want to order but I'll probably just wait until they get some talk on here. I just hate ordering samplers and having tons of small bags and only one or two hit me. I'm relatively new to kratom and have probably 15 bags and only 3 or so that I've truly enjoyed and would order again.

Either way, their off sale price comes to around $60 shipped for a kilo which puts them among the cheapest vendors. Definitely post when you try it out! What did you order?

Personally I don’t care what bullshit they claim about its origin if it’s quality and cheap. They all have some gimmick. Should get it tomorrow or the next day. Will update.

Yeah I agree that most vendors have some sales bullshit gimmicks to draw people in. Even well respected vendors have "Thai" strains. While they may not necessarily claim it to be from Thailand like kratomdistro is, they still go as far as selling it as "Thai whatever." I think if the kratom is of quality then who cares what they are claiming about it. We all know this whole industry is full of bull and what it really comes down to is if and how well the kratom works. If it ain't a dud and the price is right then it is what it is.

Hi everybody,

Here is The Kratom Distro back story. I have a friend who has been in the kratom industry for years but I never knew how big his operation was. It turns out he is one of the largest importers in the Pacific Northwest, importing and selling around 150 tons per month as a wholesaler. We were driving around together one day and offered to show me his warehouse and his operation. He was giving me the tour and I asked him if he ever thought about selling retail. He told me no but if I wanted to give it a try, he would give me 100kg to see how it goes.

I built the site two months ago and started doing a little advertising and it blew up. I didn't know how many people would be interested in kratom at this price point. He gave me the list of strains and I asked for 10kg of the popular ones and 2-5kg of the less well known ones and started selling. We started doing business on Reddit and got quite a bit of traction there, and then I was directed to Double M from there. I came here to post an advertisement and I was warned by the admins that this would be a tougher crowd than what I was used to elsewhere, and he was right. It turns out there are quite a few kratom connoisseurs here.

With all that said, let me address the concerns I'm seeing on this thread. I had a long talk with my friend about how we know we are getting kratom from the rainforests of Thailand and the "Floristic Regions of Malaysia." He told me that the strain list was written up by our Indonesia supplier (hence the somewhat broken English). Our supplier CLAIMS to source the powder from the regions stated on the sheet, but he has not provided any proof to back up these claims. My friend's business partner is flying to Indonesia to meet with his guy there next month, and we are going to try to get some sort of a paper trail for the more exotic strains that he is claiming to source from these other regions. If you say it can't be done at the price we are advertising, I tend to believe you but I don't know enough about the industry to know for sure.

What I do know:
The powder is extremely fresh. I've seen 27 tons offloaded from a truck that came straight from the shipyard where the kratom was delivered. This powder was on farms in south Asia less than two months before we receive it, and we follow strict FIFO practices to make sure that everything is sold within 60 days of receiving it.

My friend is a trusted supplier to the big names in the industry. They service at least 40% of the AKA Approved Vendors list as clients, and I see these client's enormous orders ship out every day. If you order regularly from vendors on the AKA list, you have probably already used our powder before.

The extract products we source are second-to-none in the industry. I've toured the laboratory and seen exactly how the extracts are produced. I have feedback from a number of people about its potency and efficacy.

What I don't know:
Are we getting powder from the regions on the strains list? I am a (tiny) part of this big wholesale business. I get the powder marked with the strain name, and I repackage and sell that powder. I cannot say with certainty that it comes from the regions our source claims that they come from. I will have more clarity on this (and hopefully some paper trails) at the end of November. I apologize if anything on the site sounded misleading. I received the information and posted it to the site. It was not my intention to mislead at all, and I was not aware that the costs of sourcing kratom from non-Indo regions increase significantly.

Tl;dr:
When you buy on TKD, you are getting an unmatched price for extremely fresh and potent powder that is also sold by the biggest names in this industry (for triple the price).

Our extract products are produced in a US laboratory and are second-to-none.

I cannot verify that any powder came from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam as the supplier claims, but I hope to be able to do so soon. If I cannot get proof that we are sourcing the products from where we claim to source on the strain descriptions, I will stop selling them and change the descriptions accordingly.

yeah it's basically a connoisseur Forum. Meaning what? Members here talk about small batch kratom, Wild harvest, and Quality control... there is "Farm to Table" product, raw powder imported directly from Indonesia suppliers AT the source... with "strains" blended and labeled AT the source, as a Product Of Indonesia.

afaik, Wholesale kratom is NOT imported as "strains" but only colors in bulk ? Mostly or usually either Green or Red, some White.. A popular Facebook vendor states this clearly: "Most vendors, purchase vein colors instead of strains... From those colors we mix each strain." LINK

appreciate the honesty. I'll save you a trip to Indo and let you know they are not from Thailand OR Vietnam OR Malaysia for $35 each.

It also shows that you and your friend may be somewhat oblivious to the industry if you even think they may have been sourced from there. Especially... Especially if your friend is one of the largest importers in the northwest.

they should get started on the name changes and descriptions....they are never going to 'get confirmation' that they are getting regional leaf from Malaysia/Vietnam. There will be no paper trail. I will eat my socks if this statement is untrue. If they are really getting the same leaf that goes out in 10+ ton shipments, everyone here knows what they are getting and it isn't exceptional. I would be hard-pressed to imagine more than 20% of users here have purchased from an AKA vendor within the last year.

Seems like a cheap way to build a doomsday stash. Use your good stuff while you can replenish, keep a few k's under the bed or something should Day Zero arrive.

Also...the FIFO 60 day thing makes sense at quantity limits but with tons and tons....you are telling me that you constantly sell your 27 tons in 2 months? What happens after than 60 mark should there be any leftover? If it hasnt happened already, it likely will in the future.

Their stuff is just as good any any other company I’ve tried from here. I imagine all kratom comes from the same handful of indo companies just marketed differently by domestic companies. I’ll leave a review after I try more batches from distro but so far so good.

Can someone give a quick backstory or explanation of locker room guy? I'm on mewe sometimes and the name intrigues me, but I also feel that it should be more well known if this is a bad actor. Pm me if needed, not trying to derail this thread as it's been informative and interesting otherwise.

One thing I might recommend is offering cheaper shipping on smaller quantities. I don't want to buy a kilo of something I may not like. I also don't want to pay $16 shipping on a few cheap samples. Your prices are great, even off sale. It's just the only worthwhile purchase would be a whole kilo, but again not gonna order a kilo of stuff that I may not like. This is the only thing keeping me from ordering.

He got a couple off-menu blends and he got the 10% extract. Closest to what he ordered would be Hulu Kapuas Kalimantan. It's all super fresh though, and the price obviously can't be beat!
