Update: After the forum upgrade, this issue has been fixed and should no longer be happening.
The "GENERAL ERROR - SQL Error, Incorrect string value" error message when trying to send through a post has been an extremely common issue lately, so I figured I'd make a quick announcement to address it.
Why it happens: This error is caused by the site database attempting to store an unrecognized character format.
The fix: Please remove any type of emoji when posting and the post will most likely go through.
If you are still unable to post after removing emojis, please use the email link at the bottom of the error message to send me a message. Be sure to include the specific error message you are getting and I will work with you to troubleshoot the issue so that you are able to post.

Up until a few weeks ago, I was still trying to post my own emojis occasionally even though I knew it wouldn't work.
