Just one more note about lowering your doses - as a rule I've been taking around 1.5 - 2 grams per dose (two or three times a day), which is a lowered dose from my 2.5-3 grams of around a year ago. Things were "okay" - not great, but all right, but just for fun this morning I took only two capsules (exactly 1 gram) and it hit me VERY hard, harder than anything has done lately at much higher doses.

This wasn't a special batch - all my batches (or nearly all) are very good, from TFH or Denette. I just think it was the lowered dose which always reminds me that, in general, folks are dosing too high. It's easy to do - you start at a gram or two and then if a particular batch doesn't hit it's tempting to just bump it up, not understanding the less is more mantra. So - if something isn't HITTING, then LOWER your dose, not raise it. Yes, it's counter-intuitive, but just try it. You'll be surprised.

I’ve been lowering my dose over time. I’d love to get down to like 2-3g per day. Less is more is an interesting phenomenon. I always thought it was placebo until I tried it myself.

That would be ideal, it's tough. just two years ago I was at 20gpd and I've eventually got it down to around 9gpd. Been sticking with an exact schedule. 8:30 / 12:30 / 3:30 / 6:00pm -- All around 2g accept for 3g at 6 .. I know that you get the most out of it if you leave 4hrs between doses, but my schedule doesn't allow me to do 4hrs during weekdays. Weekends more flexible. I only eat at 12:30 and 6pm and both of those servings are taken right before I eat at those times. This allows me to intermittent fast and to make sure I get the most out of the leaf by not bogging down my digestive system. The more food you have in your stomach sitting around, ties up your energy metabolism and the less impactful the burns you get. The morning burn is good but my second dose at 12:30 and last dose at 6 seem to be the most potent, both when I eat, which is strictly paleo. Low sugar, good quality proteins with adequate ratio of macros. I don't smoke weed anymore as I've come to conclusion it messes up your burns due to neurotransmitter and Cannabinoid depletion/exhaustion and when done together, marijuana overtakes kratoms effects. For me anyways!
