I was about to get another 250-500g of it in a new order I planned to place in the next few days, And it is already down to only 100g bags!! That sold extremely fast! I am kicking myself for not getting another 250g bag at least! Guess I'll have to just pick up more in the 100g bag sizes which is better than nothing![]()
I also noticed new batches of Rocket Red and Red Elephant Kali (Version 3) listed within the past week! Have you tried any of these newest batches?? And the new Red Ryder Riau, wonder how it compares to the original batch, haven't seen reviews for it pop up yet... The Red Elephant Kali from I think last year was one of those must-have's and I've seen a lot of members searching for that one. I still have some of the original batch and it's a go-to nighttime strain when I'm in a lot of pain and need to sleep. So I'm going to grab some of both the new Rocket Red and Red Elephant Kali soon
But back to new TFH strains/reviews: I did get a sample of Deep Jungle White PMD last week and it was the best white strain I have had in a long long time! I liked it more than the White Lightning and the Classic White Bali (both very good as well!). Incredible uplifting mood boost and energy and long legs with excellent pain relief as an added bonus!! I took it before my Friday night shift and time flew by and I felt great! I'm not sure if it's on the menu yet but I will def be buying it if it does become available

The Deep Jungle White! The sample I got is labeled "Deep Jungle White MD - WM21-MK" (but TFH sometimes mislabels the colors on purpose during the testing)Fallguy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 7:23 pmWas the deep jungle white or green?MikeEdoessomething wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 4:18 pmI wish I did the same as you, Lavender! I have not tried the green version of the Deep Jungle. I bought the Deep Jungle Red PMD and its good but not a standout in my opinion (at least for me anyways).

For me, it was mid or mid-low spec (depending on dose size, but to me it was lower mid). I think I rated it a 4 for the energy/sedating effect part when I filled out the TFH survey for this strain. There wasn't really any energy for me, but it wasn't knock out sedating either. Kind of in-between, almost neutral but overall it leaned more on the relaxing side (if that makes sense lol). I think it is best for lazy days, early evenings after work to unwind... It had some good pain relief which is what I mostly use kratom for, so it worked for me in that regardSupersonic75 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 10:20 pmWas the Deep Jungle a “daytime red” or lower spec than that? For perspective, I love daytime reds! This wasn't one I'd call a daytime red but it may be opposite for someone else, and I imagine dose size will be the bigger factor. I dose at 2 or 4 grams. If I had to compare it to another TFH strain I'd compare it to Lazier Sundae or Relaxing Red (neither of which make me sleepy or energetic on their own)
I have only tried the Deep Jungle Red PMD 3 times, so still testing it myself; it is good but not a standout like the Baik Bali Especial/Top Shelf Red MD/Red Hangat Indo which are 3 of my recent favorites from TFH

I had the deep jungle red last night. It was pretty heavy at 6g. Gave my eyes a heavy feeling. Looking forward to trying it some more. Good relief after a long day at work. I just received the new rocket red, about to try it out. It's gonna be hard to beat the original though. This morning I had white Elephant kail, got some decent energy but that's about it. I need a few more tries with it to really feel it out.

Thanks for your answer; I appreciate it. It’s funny; the way you describe the Deep Jungle is sorta how the Top Shelf Red MD hit for me…..almost “neutral” but kinda relaxing while still giving me a clearheaded feel I’ve only tried it 3x also but liked it a lot. But I’m glad to hear that the Jungle offers good pain relief as well.MikeEdoessomething wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 11:20 pmFor me, it was mid or mid-low spec (depending on dose size, but to me it was lower mid). Re: New TFH Strains
After reading all these glowing reports of the new strains, I bought some Super White JK, Baik Bali Especial, White Lightning, & a couple others. I've tried the Super White JK 4 times now & get nothing from it other than wobbles if I exceed 1.75g. But when I blend it, it adds a tremendous oomph to otherwise blah strains. I also discovered that blending it with the new Baik Bali Especial is a really bad idea. 1g of White to 1.5g Baik. Yikes! My heart started running a marathon, I broke out in a heavy sweat, & I felt terrible. I had to take 3 beta blockers to slow my heart down & my wife was getting ready to take me into the ER, which fortunately didn't happen.
The Baik Bali Especial is a great strain. Unlike other typical TFH kratom that takes an hour to kick in, this strain starts its magic after only 5 minutes. It's a fast red like almost all TFH reds seem to be. It reminds me of the noteworthy Red Dayak that was so incredibly popular. The Dayak is one of my most favorite strains, & now has to share that distinction with the Especial.
The White Lightning is similar to the WJK to me. I get nothing from it. I haven't tried to blend it yet. I'm going to be real careful this time when I do that.

I like it! It's definitely upper mid and seems to have a high ceiling, which I like. Also it's very relieving. Nice warm body feels. Great addition to the TFH menu. Anybody had the red elephant kail?

Re: New TFH Strains
Just tried it tonight, it's fantastic! Very similar to the previous batch, very uplifting, relaxing but not sleepy, nice pain control, potent. It might have a bit more energy than the last one, but not by much, it'll still work as a nighttime or daytime red. Red Hangat Indo is another great batch. I might even like it a little more than the Baik Bali Especial. They're both pretty similar, but the Indo is a little heavier imo, yet still delivers wonderful mood uplift. TFH is currently killing it with the reds. \m/Joshgreenhorn wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 9:05 pm I like it! It's definitely upper mid and seems to have a high ceiling, which I like. Adding to the chorus of praise for Baik Bali Especiale - this stuff rocks.
Big, sweet, warm blanket, pain relief, stress relief...brought back memories of when I was new to kratom. TFH is the only vendor I get that feeling from.
Gonna try the Red Ryder Riau tonight.

That'd be me. Turn into a cooking (and cleanup) machine with the right strain.
I'm curious to know what you thought on the rest of your order. I just got an order, and I didn't get any of the strains you listed.
I got the Baik Bali Especial (excellent)
Red Rider (solid)
Relaxing Red (excellent)
White Lightning
Deep Jungle White
Tonight, I think I'll tuck into a Wild Crafted Green sample.

Totally agreed. I obtained a fantastic sampler from georgiegirl. Relaxing Red is a very nice strain. It is analogous to a very strong pain killer. In fact, it was tough to discern the difference. I found more enjoyment with Relaxing Red Vs. Especiale.kratomKonnie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 8:27 pm On second try, Relaxing Red is excellent. I liked it almost as much as the Baik Especial. The Red Ryder Riau is rocking my socks off now, and blending 3/4 RRR with 1/4 Mellow Yellow Indo is euphoria city. In fact, blending that Mellow Yellow Indo into anything makes it so much better. It makes Relaxing Red sing, and Baik Bali Red Especiale sing (in my case, sleep)!
I haven't been able to keep up as much as I'd like, and there are some I'd die to try, but for me, the Red Ryder Riau and Mellow Yellow Indo are super standouts. I also discovered the Deep Jungle Red PMD is the very best painkiller I have had from TFH. It grows on you, and starts to feel wonderful. I took it every single day, while I had the chance and until I ran out. It is, like an essential medical need for me, or something.
Everything I've tried from them in the past couple of months has been killer. I want to know if anyone has tried the 30 Year Hangat Red Hulu (I probably butchered the name, but it's new and at the top of the menu).

Re: New TFH Strains
I have tried the 30 Year Wild Red Hangat Hulu: IRCB-9 and it is AMAZING!!!! Another great daytime red from TFH. Reminds me of the original Lazy Sundae but with a touch more energy. Long lasting pain relief and has mid-spec energy. Very smooth and clean feeling, gives me much needed mental wakefulness, all while still having a relaxation effect on the body and mind (but not sleepy for me at all, just comfortable numbWhiteAngelica wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 7:06 pm The Red Ryder Riau is rocking my socks off now, and blending 3/4 RRR with 1/4 Mellow Yellow Indo is euphoria city. Interesting enough, I wasn't crazy about the Jungle Red PMD but I do agree that it had nice pain relief. I loved the old Red Ryder Riau and haven't tried the newest batch but after reading your post I'm going to now get it whenever I order next. Thanks, I've been waiting for a review on it since the Riau hit the menu recently.

I agree 30yr red hangat hulu is pretty great, and my go to as of late. Very balanced, just the right amount of energy & focus with some warmth added to it. Top tier for all the old trees i’ve had in the past. I can’t say enough good things about the reds lately from TFH, def give it a go

My continued go-to from TFH is the Wild Tua Kalimantan. It is incredible . Really nicely balanced with crazy good mood lift , not speedy but uplifting, calming and with a really smooth pick up excellent for early evening. By far the top on the menu for me . Also very similar to that was the new rocket red . Both of these batches are SO consistent. Chris is really perfecting the process .

Re: New TFH Strains
Can anyone suggest any really good slower strains on the TFH menu besides Baik Bali Red Especiale/Red 460, Relaxing Red, Red Ryder Riau, which are all great but I already have? Is there any must-haves, would you guys say?
