TFH's 30 Year Wild Red Bali...

Post by KratomConservative »

Hey friends. Here is a quick review of this very helpful batch / "strain"..

So, a quick backstory. I am 25, and I have SHINGLES!

It's the adult version of chicken pox, and it is TERRIBLE.

Painful rashes all over the left side of my body. My neck has felt like somebody just kicked it for 5 days straight...

I've had headaches and waves of nausea...

Well, anytime I take about 6 to 8 grams of the 30 year wild red Bali, it makes the pain go away!

I've never really had to use kratom solely for pain, so right now, I'm finding out which batches work good for this.

If you are in pain for any reason, this is a perfect strain for you!

I can't say anything about other effects, like energy, euphoria, ect, because I've been in so much pain, that all I currently get out of kratom is relief, not recreation

Although, I will say, it seems to also give me a very significant mood boost!

Great batch.

As someone who never used kratom alone for its medicinal values, but used it for recreational purposes such as mood boost, inspiration while working, cleaning, ect, I am so impressed with its pain killing properties!

I had 2 of the 5mg Vicodins the other night to get some good sleep to hopefully repair my body more, and sure, they worked very well too, but the kratom works much much better.

I won't take Vicodin even again. Kratom is an amazing plant. Those who suffer chronic pain must be introduced to this plant ASAP!

Right now, having good TFH red kratom is a freaking God send!

I feel Sooo much better!

Without kratom, I would have been completely miserable the past few days!

Not only does it make my immense pain subside, it gives me a strong mood boost too.

I love kratom. It's truly such amazing natural medicine.

This reminds me, if i am in mosquito season, i add a little bit more red kratom then normal, and i dont mind tons of bites on me. It dont bother me. sure i might swing my arms here and there but after 5 seconds i dont care. it does work. The the greatest idea but sometimes i forget to bring my apple cider vinegar spray. ACV is perfect, not one bite. And its very good for your skin, and smell goes away pretty fast. spray face, arms and your good. You will have zero bites. You could parsley to ACV and leave it in fridge over night then just use mesh to separate, put in spray bottle and you got your self ORGANIC mosquito repellent. No Deet. If got peppermint you can add that to make your spray smell even better and it always helps repel mosquito. If got none, no sprays. Just adding 2-3 extra grams of red will do the trick.

yeah but... yeah but... you didn't say how MANY 8-gram servings, per DAY ??

Hate to break the bad news but... Large "doses" of kratom, is not sustainable over a long period of TIME. 20, 30, gpd? At some point, Tolerance kicks in... just sayin' I hope you find a long term solution for your Shingles pain. I'm older and two friends of mine had Shingles. Yes it's terrible... I've got a script for the Shingrix vaccine, and, working on getting the $200 cost paid for, but that's another subject.

Good Luck!! Maybe try some Agmatine Sulfate to help with kratom pain relief. :geek:

I have been looking into this one for my chronic pain. I'm sorry. Shingles come directly from the seventh ring of smoldering hell.

If you recall whether it was more energetic, or more relaxed, that would be great.

Heal soon. Any other questions for pain, you can contact me. Trust me; I'm a doctor...of Philosophy in English and Creative Writing. But mostly, I'm just a pain patient.

Sorry to hear about your crappy situation

I agree, 30 yr Red Bali is very good. Strong pain relief with a good amount of full bodied warmth and moodlift. It has the vibe that strains I think of as "dirty reds" have. It's more full bodied than most reds with more alkaloid spectrum. Feels like there is some NMDA antagonism at play, kinda like what one would get when they take cat's claw with kratom. it can wobble a little if you use it too often though. Very good strain for pain, mood, sleep, and anxiety.

Nope, the 30 year wild red Bali is NOT fermented.

I think TFH labels any fermented batched as such, as I've never received a dark red strain from him.

All of his reds are green in color.

OH, I definitely understand tolerance! I've actually been on 20 gpd for years, and luckily, if I miss a day or two, or a dose here and there, I don't seem to have any issues.

That's pure luck for me I'd say. I'm the same way with coffee I found out recently!

I drink a pot of coffee a day, minimum, all day long too.

Well, I've gone coffee free since the shingles started. No headaches, no grogginess, ect. I feel decent.

But yeah, I already have quite the tolerance, but man, let me tell you something... When you are using Kratom because you are in such terrible pain, the difference is seriously NIGHT AND DAY.

I generally us kratom "recreationally", and half the time I don't really "feel" much.

Now that I'm taking it for pain control, not mood boost, euphoria, or energy, I have noticed every single dose works amazingly.

Again, I'm quite surprised how well this is helping me!

I should be over the hump with shingles in about 4 days at this point (I hope).

I'm following all of my doctors orders, but as of now, the herpes (rashes/wounds) are only getting more uncomfortable, which actually seems to be a sign I am beginning the healing stage.

Either way, this is hell! It's crazy.

Thank you very much for offering your help. It's much appreciated :)

With that said, this red Bali seems to be completely middle grounded.

I can sleep on it, BUT it doesn't put me to sleep, and makes my body feel a bit upbeat.

It gives a serious mood boost too, but that could be partly due to how much better it makes my body feel. Perhaps taking the pain down makes me feel better mentally.

So, I wouldn't say it's a sleepy red by any means. A good daytime red, although I still take it at night.

I'm in the same boat with both of you guys, but certainly not in the same way as having shingles (i'm very sorry to hear about that). Luckily it can be fixed, but unfortunately with pain you're kind of inextricably stuck in the present  .

I think this thread just sold me on grabbing some. But i wanted to know, what are your all time favorite TFH strains for pain? Can be red or green (if they're comparable, of course).

The chocolate bent was great for some muscle relaxation and pain elimination, one of the few reds which jived with me, BUT it gave me the itches, enough for me to discontinue use.

Oh Man. Shingles is a Mother....
I had it in my '30's whle living like I was 20 (pulled that off for a vey long time) It's serious. Take Care of yourself and I'm sure you've seen a doctor (if not- get in to save your life)
that mess crosses a meridian, it's over.

Glad you're getting relief. All I got was oxycodone which did NOTHING that I could tell. Ok I have a tip for you that no doctor will ever mention and a naturopath might suggest IF you can afford or can get insurance to cover vitamin injections. Not happening.

So I was on crutches for a long time. The pain just would not let up and when it did, it kept coming back. The pain meds were making me depressed and arnery. You need to think around for plan B & maybe C
I always do my own research because doing so has saved me from invasive surgery (a planned splenectomy) a lot of other things including shingles pain toward the end and may have also saved my life. I have a terminal illness that was diagnosed in 1992 so what does that tell you-
you shold listen to me. Just saying. That's my credentials.

Anyway- if for some reason this doesn't help (it's got to at least help your nerves and body). It's been known that vitamin B Injections (one of them) relieves shingles pain while on the mend. (this is on the fly so sorry I'm lacking specifics) Even though I have access to "complementary medicine" , living where that all started- it seemed impractical. So instead of trashing the idea, I did what most people would not even consider for Fear that it might not work and they'd feel foolish. People are PETTY. If injections help, why would it hurt to spend 20 dollars on some very high quality B Complex supplement? The best you can find. Do NOT cheap out.
Don't tell me supplements don't work. I'm here and not tlly crackers because of them. DO take all your prescribed anti virals. ESSENTIAL

I was well past the zoster sores and had taken zovirax- very expensive so medicine is much needed in this case. No competing here. But take care of your body with targeted nutrition. You might still have pain- I can't say and dont know where you \are with recovery but but it can only help unless there's some very odd thing I don't know.

Get some pricey vitamin pills (makes it sound so trivial) The best B Complex you can find. In future that can be in a multi if you take to supplementing but don't rely on national brand. Almost useless. Don't tell ANYONE bc people are stupid. That's why they rely on what "they hear" and some will try to talk you out of it. (20 dollars or shit pay more if they have better, Puleeease. Do it) and which your body needs anyway- ESPECIALLY trying to recover from shingles.

So what happened. I was taking pain meds every day yet feeling no relief or maybe intermittent relief. Lousy. It was horrible. Took the big yellow pill with food. Nothing changed that day. I woke up the next day with no pain whatsoever and never looked back. Not a hint of pain returned. No, I ddn't buy more. I did take that bottle those next few days, every day. There's a scare right not about taking B vitamins and cancer in men. You're not going to OD on these the rest of your life so doesn't matter. Today I work supplements in with my day every day accd. to what I need most. This is my survival background - made success w kratom w/o problems for ~6 years a snap. (keep using the kratom the way you are and youll have problems but no worries for now) Do your research and respect kratom. It won't love you forever if you treat it like a product made for spoiled consumers., not that you are. Cheers

Thank you so much for all of your advice!

I actually recovered in what my doctor calls "record time".

Within 7 days of the wounds and rashes starting, they were all scanned over! 2 weeks in, and they were almost all gone!

4 weeks in, and I'm just slightly itchy. No pain.

The terrible pain went away after just 5 days!

My Doc said even with people my age, it usually takes double the time for each thing. I'm so grateful.

Since we're on the subject of shingles... a couple years back my doctor had given me my 3 times a year prescription of prednisone. I have severe arthritis & prednisone gives me one month straight of no pain. So I was in the middle of taking it & my doctor says "say, you need to get a shingles vaccination." Oh, okay. So I went upstairs & got the shot. 7 days later I feel kinda sick & BOOM - I get these burning spots scattered all over - inside my mouth, all over my lips, all over the other part, over my body in general, & they hurt a lot. Turns out if you take prednisone, you're supposed to avoid vaccinations for a couple months! Gee thanks Mr. Doctor. That really was a fairly major screw up. He's not my doctor any more.

Would you mind telling me what batch you have? There are numbers and letters at the end of a batch number. They have 2 available now and I want to make sure I buy a good one.
Thanks.

Not sure which batch that KratomConservative has, but I have 30 Year Wild Red Bali: A7-IR3 and it's very good!

I believe it's the same batch discussed on this thread because I think it's the only 30 Year Wild Red Bali that's been
available in at least the past year. I try to snag anything from TFH labeled as a "Bali" selection because they're always
top notch for pain!
