Let me start off by saying that Chris from LSMS has some of the best customer service I've experience in the kratom industry. He's a super friendly guy, and genuinely likes to help his customers find what works for them. You can tell he takes sourcing his leaf very seriously.

I decided to give LSMS a shot based on the reviews coming out of MeWe. I originally got two strains: Super Green and Wild Green Hulu.

First off, the shipping is very fast. Luckily I live in Texas, and I got my order literally overnight! Besides the location, Chris is just very quick to ship, and I got my tracking almost immediately after placing my order.

The first strain I tried was the Super Green.... Super fresh, wonderful aroma, and beautiful green color. It packs a serious punch! It gave me strong, happy energy for a good 4 hours, and I was able to bust out the work day no problem. One of my favorite strains right now.

Next, Wild Green Hulu. Absolutely fantastic. This strain is another energetic strain with really long legs. It's also absolutely gorgeous leaf, bright green color and smells extremely fresh. This is definitely small batch kratom, that was apparent very quickly.

I was so blown away with these two, I decided I needed to try the Green Malay and Premium Green. Both are fantastic as well. These are both really solid mids with great moodlift. This was the first time in a while I've had every single strain from an order hit right off the bat.

I'm very impressed with LSMS. His pricing his great, his customer service is fantastic, and his leaf is premium. I can't recommend you try them enough.

Excellent review! I have had many orders with LSMS and the man knows how to source some excellent leaf. Wild GMD is top notch, if it's still in stock definitely try it out! White Hillir, Memo Yellow in addition to the ones you mentioned are all great picks. Hopefully he keeps bringing the fire

Chris has the best hirsuta and some strong kratom.

He's a really great guy and when I messed up with payment he was cool about it and shipped my order as soon as we agreed how to solve the issue, trusting I would follow through.

Its sold out now but the wild white borneo he has is one of the best batches i have had in the last few years. Everytime ive burned it has been straight fire. So good that its one of those that almost makes you forget about every other selection you have bc you just want to keep using it all day every day. His wild green hulu is also pretty damn good and has some top notch mood lift and is very long lasting. The wild green maeng da is very good as well has a chill mid spec buzz with a constant long lasting feel to it as well. The white maeng da was pretty good as well, very chill and stress relieving for me. Everything ive tried from him has been top notch leaf and all have produced effects, the wilds he has are my personal favorites. Ive heard alot about the wild red hulu, but havent tried it myself but im sure it is good.

White Puttsibau is INCREDIBLE! And I don't really take many white strains as I need more pain relief. But holy hell was this strain a winner for me! It was like Rocket-fuel, very high energy and euphoric!!

Super Green Puttsibau is also excellent. Lone Star has some truly unique leaf and great leaf

The wild red hulu mixed with a bit of premium white made a pink cocktail. While the legs were short, the effects were powerful. I felt like the boogieman snuck up behind and literally grabbed me, I got chickenskin, as we say in Hawaii as an alternative to goosebumps, all over!

Chris’s suppliers all bring the heat. I’m sure a lot of you know Chris here in the community, but it’s hard to find someone who is so in touch with his suppliers, not just his main one, he’s always chatting with them late night, and is truly hands on with the curing from start to finish. His leaf is super unique, and I’ve never had a dud, always top notch super high quality Leaf. I’ll be placing another order this week.

Tested the brand new Wild Yellow Dayak and Wild Red Dayak

Yellow's I mostly blend, so the Wild Yellow Dayak on it's own I only tried once and it was decent. BUT... but blending the Wild Yellow Dayak with a Green (Green Sunda from Denette) and blending it Wild Green Hulu from Lone Star were both AMAZING! This yellow seems to add mood boost and happy uplifting feelings with a bit of relaxation when added to the strains above. This is what I manly do with Yellow strains (blend) and this one I think will be great with any blend.

Wild Red Dayak only tried once so far: warm relaxing full body feeling with great pain relief. Not very sedating, which is what I prefer, but not energetic either.

Also, Chris/LoneStar White and Super Green Puttsibau are FIRE!! Very high energy.

Man that is a hard choice, but probably the SG Putt.

The White Puttsibau is like Rocket-fuel for me. Very very fast. I'm prescribed adderall and this strain gave me very similar effects which is extremely rare for me (I'm prescibed adderall for chronic fatigue syndrome, not Adhd, for reference)

Both great strains. The SG might be a bit more well rounded than the white. Both offer great energy and mood boosts

Those Puttsibau strains are indeed great

I've been curious about Hirusta. What kind of effects does it have? Thinking about giving it a try.

I feel like amphetamines would be absolutely horrible long term for chronic fatigue syndrome. Interesting that you're prescribed adderall for that reason do you take it everyday for fatigue or just when needed?

I agree, it likely is not good long term. I wish I didn't have to take it. It's one of those risk/rewards things in my situation. But yes, I take it almost everyday for the fatigue. I don't have health insurance or I would ask to try an alternative medication like Modafinil that promotes wakefulness and seems to be far safer than adderall (or Provigil is another option I would like to try). Adderall costs me $40 out of pocket monthly whereas Modafinil and Provigil are several hundred last time I checked. For reference my chronic fatigue started when I was 26, and at the time I played basketball 5 days a week (playing my whole life basically) and lifted weights and was lived a very active lifestyle. And in the time since, I still have remained active and exercise several times a week. When I was 28 I had a muscle biopsy that showed a mitochrondria problem, and I was diagnosed with Mitochondrial myopathy (mitochondria disease runs in my mother's family)

I am prescribed adderall 3 times a day, 20mg dose size. But I take it 5 days a week (2 day break every week) and I usually only dose 2 times (40mg) on most days. I often break my dose into 10mg instead of taking the 20mg dose, trying to micro-dose kind of... I've been on adderall for I think 6 years now, blood work done every 3 months. My blood work is all good. It's actually better now at age 34 compared to my late 20's, and generally speaking I also feel better. I feel kratom has helped me live healthier (like drinking only water). I've also made changes in my diet and general lifestyle (meditation, starting to do yoga again) to hopefully off-set the negative effects of the adderall. I don't drink. I was on between 4-6 medications when I was 30 years old. Kratom has helped me in almost every other area so I now am only prescribed just the adderall (though I also take xanax which I have been tapering for seemingly ever. I have cut my dose in over the last year down to 1 mg xanax a day from 3mg at one point, and My goal is to be off of Xanax in the next 6 months-a year. 2020 being a nightmare hasn't helped in this area

). I still take Xanax because its just a nightmare to get off of and I was an idiot who didn't research it when initially prescribed years ago.

I have tried so many things to improve my energy (countless supplements, keto diet, etc etc). And the plan is to keeping searching to find what works best, keep improving diet, and I'm just now learning about gut bacteria so will be working to improve that. I feel like I am close - between Kratom and other supplements, more strict diet and increasing the amount I exercise- that I will be able to drop the adderall at some point in the near future. I wish weed was legal in my state because high CBD sativa strains (when able to get them) have helped greatly with wakefulness and energy.

I will also be taking a sleep study in January (hopefully) to see if sleep apnea is perhaps an issue causing the fatigue.

Wow I didn't mean to write that much. Thank you for asking. Is there anything you know of that may help with chronic fatigue syndrome?

I see, I had no idea modafinil was soo much more than an adderall prescription but I guess that makes sense. A lot more users on amphetamines than narcolepsy/nootropic type drugs. I actually suffer from chronic fatigue as well but it's not very bad overall. I do notice when I use caffeine or other stims it gets a lot worse for me long term. But I can see the situation you are in and feel for you. I have noticed a couple of things to really help with my fatigue so much so that I've completely cut out my caffeine and stimulant usage.(other than kratom of course) Mushrooms. I've began experimenting with various mushrooms and have notice pretty insane benefits. The biggest one with regards to fatigue is Cordyceps militaris powder. This one mushroom along with exercise has made a massive difference in my overall energy levels it might help you in some way. It's not anything you feel right away but after about a week you catch yourself and can see you're a lot more active than you were, you actually want to do things. At least that was my experience. Another one is Lions Mane mushroom powder this helps a ton with mental energy and cognition. Both of these mycelium are backed by tons of studies proving they are effective for various uses. They can be a bit pricey but imo it wouldn't hurt to at least try them once.

Thanks for the feedback! I've tried a bunch of the nootropics, and things like many racetams, and have had some good success with a few. Just not consistent though I've been able to cut back the adderall a bit with the use nootropics and supplements. I just have to find the right mix and right stack and I do think I'll eventually be able to get off adderall

Cordyceps militaris has been on my list of herbs to try for so long but for some reason tried other herbs first (panex ginax ginsing, shilajit were most recent with little success from either). I'm definitely going to try it out now!! And thanks for the heads up about not feeling effects right away but keep taking it. That's great to hear because I have seriously been so interested in mushrooms for a couple years now. I don't know why I haven't tried mushrooms yet but going to order Cordyceps militaris and start with that. Do you have a vendor you buy mushrooms from? I get most my supplements from nootropicsdepot and they have cordyceps and lion's mane and a few others

And I think a few states just voted for medicinal mushroom use! I would love to try DMT also ("The Spirit Molecule" was an eye opening documentary I watch few years back). Thanks again for the feedback and suggestions.

I get my mushroom powders from Om® Organic Mushroom Nutrition but I'm sure you can find brands just as good for cheaper. I've had pretty good success with that brand though but haven't really tried any other brands. I also wouldn't recommend doing dmt I believe it to be potentially dangerous. Especially 5-MeO-DMT which has had strings of deaths. Even N,N-DMT In some individuals can cause bad respiratory depression which is what I believe happened to me and it was terrifying experience that fucked me up for a long time. I still don't feel right and it's been over 5 years. My friend said I was beginning to turn a blue grey colour really really scary stuff. I also don't like how most of the extractions being done to produce N,N-DMT are using Naptha via a/b extraction which results in impure dangerous product because of contaminants being left behind. Naptha is really nasty shit and should never be used for extractions that involve human consumption.

Appreciate the advice. Yeah, I would only ever do Ayahuasca or something like DMT only if it was done with a proper guide and traditional setting (and with health supervision) or it was a last resort type of option. Def won't be just doing DMT from a co-worker or at a friend's house haha lol I would of course do extensive extensive research before I ever did something so strong. But I'll stick with the basic and simple mushrooms like Cordyceps and Lion's Mane.

The hirusta is very similar to kratom but not exactly the same, if that makes sense lol. Chris's is quite energetic and actually gave me some euphoria, which is something I don't usually get from it. Also if you ever want to take a few days off from regular kratom for t breaks the hirusta would make a fine substitute.

Wanted to make some updates on newer strains that Chris at LSMS has gotten in. I continue to be impressed by his leaf and customer service!

SuperGreen Puttsibau: absolutely beautiful green strain, some of the most beautiful I’ve seen in a while. This is an energetic and uplifting strain. This is quickly becoming a favorite.

Green Puttsibau: another beautiful looking strain. This open is a mid to upper mid with tons of moodlift. Not quite as fast as the SG Putts, but still energetic and uplifting. Another fantastic strain

Super Green Jong Kong:

Wow, I’m quickly realizing that Chris really
Knows how to source his leaf. This is another BEAUTIFUL green strain that packs a serious punch. Tons of energy and very euphoric, exactly what I look for in kratom. This is probably my current favorite in my rotation.

Lone Star PMD:

This is a mid to upper mid (depending on dose size) that had a ton of moodlift. It hits very hard and has a ton of pain relief for a green strain. Again, the leaf itself is gorgeous looking. This is a very happy strain that hits very hard.

SG Java is another strain I’ve tried just once, but really enjoyed. I’m getting my pack in tomorrow with this, so will add to my review tomorrow evening.

Overall, I continue to be impressed with LSMS. It’s not often that pretty much every strain hits for me off the bat.

I'm pretty sure he's all out now but the premium green java is a must buy if he gets it again. Has a great mood boost and feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket, with mid-spec energy. The super green is another strain I just got in and it's a perfect morning green. Very energetic and quite euphoric as well. Overall I feel like you can't go wrong with any of Chris's leaf. He spends a lot of time trying to source the best leaf possible and it definitely shows.

I agree with you Celtics1899. That Premuim Green Java was really NOICE! Had a great mood lift with a little energy but also that relaxing warmth. Another unique batch with great results for me.

The Super Green Jong Kong is also good and different. Its faster than the Java in my opinion but still mid/fast (not too fast) on the spectrum. Good mood boost with a bit of a kick for getting past mid afternoon "Zoom Fatigue" (yes. Its a real thing).

Ps: I take adderall for adult add and fatigue from chronic, disabling anemia. I have taken this for much of my adult life, and now it’s like a water pill. It is helpful with the anemia fatigue, but for ADD it gives me hyper focus and instead of being scattered about everything, I hone into one thing with such gripping hyperfocus that I cannot break from a task and actually will lose hours to it. It sucks, but the alternative is to live like an exhausted tornado. I’m still exhausted, but Kratom helps that if I take a fast red, while addressing chronic pain.

The thing about Adderall for chronic fatigue is that the problems only start when your insurance decides to play funny with you and cut down your dosage. But I’m a mess anyway. I have a pill for ADD, for depression, a pill for anxiety, a pill for panic, a pill to stabilize moods, and a pill for sleeping. All of this started before I was diagnosed with a rare congenital disease and the symptoms were worsening & started to physically cripple me. The Dr. who couldn’t diagnose me referred me to a shrink, and I ended up on a cornucopia of pills. I was finally diagnosed by a specialist in NYC and I haven’t had one procedure or prescription to help the worsening syndrome, but now my dr. says I need these meds to adjust to my new reality. Yes, also because my body is dependent on them now...

Kratom is the purest, cleanest thing I take with the most important and life-altering properties that keep me standing and able to move. With the subject matter on, I love Lonestar’s Red Hulu K and for me it is more relaxing and sedating, and with it, my pain is no where to be found.

WOW this is ME!! You just described me for the most part lol... I take adderall for chronic fatigue and kratom for pain to keep me moving and standing (mitochronidria myopathy and chronic fatigue syndrome are both what I have been diagnosed with), and I lose hours to things, though I find it hard to focus on the important tasks or things I should be working on, in that basically I spend hours lost on things I never meant to spend time on. Then I open a new web page and there goes the old topic and now I'm stuck on the new topic.

My doctor is constantly threatening to stop prescribing the adderall for me. Even though its the only medication I currently get. I'm prescribed 20mg 3x a day (though I usually only take two doses a day 5 days a week with 2 days off every week)... I used to be on several meds, including tramadol, and I got off of almost everything because of Kratom. My doctor also doesn't think I should take kratom and used to give me some trouble about it, but getting off the pain killers with Kratom kind of stopped her from thinking Kratom is bad haha lol. Now she doesn't even bring up Kratom. Actually, I think she may have changed her views on Kratom a little. Because my blood work has also improved in the past few years. She mentioned she was impressed and happy that I was able to willingly get myself off multiple prescriptions including Tramadol.

I don't have insurance and pay out of pocket.The adderall only costs around $40 a month for me. Doctor visit every 3 months around $100. But the threat of having my doctor pull this one medication I take gives me anxiety like crazy, especially when I go to see her. I know stimulants aren't great long term, but I also can't sleep my life away. It's a risk-reward thing, and I don't abuse adderall. I wish I didn't need it. But I also wish my doctor didn't try to take away the only thing that keeps me awake

But back to Lone Star: his leaf is awesome. Prem Java is just amazing. The the Puttsibau strains, green and white, are amazing for mood lift and energy. Red Hulu is a nice evening red with great pain relief

You mentioned your insurance doesn't cover your meds, you may want to try an app called GoodRx, they have coupons which give you a huge discount on non-covered meds at a variety of pharmacies.

Also Costco; I have a script for modafinil which would cost $ one grand at every pharmacy here, but Costco has it for $30.

Really? I've been wanting to try Modafinil for years but its listed for insane prices, even with coupons. I'll look that up, thanks for the tip and heads up. I don't like a lot of things about adderall, I just want to be able to stay awake, and Modafinil is a wakefulness promoting drug.

May I ask if you've had success with modafinil?

It's exactly like you said, promotes wakefulness. Like when you wake up in the morning on a good day, not a great day with euphoria, but feeling between positive and bleh.

I want to compare it to coffee, but it's not like coffee, lol.

It's not like a stimulant like Adderall, it just..makes you feel like you when you're not tired.

I think if you tried on purpose to fall asleep with it, you might be able to, but the sleepiness feeling, the want to sleep is gone.

I would def not consider it a 'go pill,' and I don't currently use it.

If you could get it for cheap, you might want to try it, cause it probably sounds curious from my response, lol.

Thanks so much. That is all I want, just to be able to stay awake and not have the chronic fatigue. Coffee doesn't work at all but I get the comparison completely. I don't like the stimulant feeling, and don't get any high from adderall, and honestly Kratom makes me feel great as far as like a euphoric mood boost. Adderall just makes me feel normal as far as energy level. I am also going to be doing a sleep study in January if the world is still running lol. But Modafinil and Nuvigil have been things I've wanted to try for years to perhaps get off of adderall.

My fear is, asking my doctor to switch to try Modafinil, and then once she stops prescribing the adderall she won't prescribe it again if the modafinil wasn't working. I think I am going to talk to my doc at my next appointment in January though. Thanks again for the response and insights

Just to keep this on Lone Star: Chris has some fire leaf. I already mentioned the Prem Green Java as one of the best greens of the year. His super green Jongkong is also recommended. I so hope Chris gets more of the "West Kali' strains in the near future. Those were from the summer I think and they were incredible

I did a sleep study and got prescribed a CPAP to use at night.

At first it was easy and I could sleep well with it on, but now it's cumbersome and I wake up with saliva making sucking and blowing problems.

And when I get restless legs, there is no way I can keep it on, I have to walk/pace until it's gone.

Writing this makes me want to try it again, just hope for no RLS.

Fellow sleep apnea patient here as well. I had a CPAP for 3 months but it required 70% or more use within 90 days or they wouldn’t cover it and I missed the mark by 2%. It was helpful when I had it but definitely not easy to get used to or sleep with. And when I was getting off opioids back a few years ago RLS is a BITCH!!! If you’ve never experienced RLS be thankful, that’s all I’ve got to say. That and the PAWS is probably the worst things I’ve gone through. Hell my depression even recently has been awful so...it’s a process and I’m so thankful to have started Kratom because without it I may not be posting today for real.

Last week I got a new order from Lone Star with a bunch of his new strains, and wanted to update this thread with some reviews. I've had great success with his leaf, plus it is some of the freshest looking kratom (and I never really commit on looks lol). I've only tried some of the newer strains a couple times and still trying to get a better understanding the their effects, so I'll just do some brief reviews on the standouts and the strains that gave me the best effect as I sampled them

Prem Green Java: Maybe my favorite green at the moment and one of the best greens of the year for me! Energy and pain relief with a crazy uplifting mood boost! Well rounded, and extremely consistent, as well as blends well adding a mood boost and some energy to other strains... I think this strain is no longer in stock but I'll def be on the lookout if Chris gets a new batch of this strain. 9.5/10

Wild Red Toho (11-09-2020 batch): This makes for a good daytime red, which are the hardest for me to find. The energy is subtle and more of a mental focus over physical energy. Great for pain relief and helped me relax enough to take away stress without making me sedated. This is a slighter darker colored red (just to note for those who prefer 'green' reds). But pain relief was the primary effect I got from this one. I think this will be one of those strains that really depends on what you're seeking effects wise

Prem Green Puta (11-09-2020 batch): nice mid-spec green that has an awesome uplifting mood boost. It provides that sense-of-wellbeing trait and had me talking a lot and was almost euphoric in that I just felt happy. A peaceful mind and pain-free body is euphoric for me, so I am always hesitant to use the word 'euphoric'. Made me motivated and social and wanting to get things done; Perfect strain for my serving job lol... There is a decent energy at first but that fades into a more relaxing effect. Very long legs with effects lasting 4-5 hours. Strong and potent so I could see this being more sedating in higher doses. Pain relief I'd rate around a 7/10 for this strain. All of the Puttsibau strains from Lone Star have been some of the best leaf I've had this year

Mempawah OG Gold (batch 11-09-20 supplier #1): I missed out on this West Kali Gold a few months back, but got some in a trade and love it, and this is close to that but not quite as good! If you had his Mempawah OG Yellow, this is like a heavier more relaxing version of his MOGY! I got that Melt-in-the-couch type of effect. Also has good pain relief I'd rate an 8/10. To use another example this reminds me of TFH's Wild Crafted Gold TFH but more sedating and not as good as that strain either (but that's a personal favorite so comparing may not be fair lol). A well balanced strain that had me forget about the crazy insane world for a few hours. Only negative would be kinda short duration (about 2 hours for me)

Premium Red Vein (11-09-2020): Another strain with excellent pain relief. I've only tested it twice, but didn't notice much other than pain relief. I'll like use this in blends.

There's a few other strains I'm still forming an opinion on, like the True Yellow, but overall I find myself reaching for Lone Star leaf more and more. The kratom is consistent, looks beautiful and so fresh, and great customer service.
