So my first time trying bb today, and so far very impressed. I ordered the md kapuas red and super red. I was planning to wait till tomorrow to try it out since I still take low dose(2mg)suboxone daily and had already took my dose earlier in the day and figured that would take away from the full experience. But I've had persistent toothache since last night and ibuprofen and my sub dose had not helped much so far throughout the day so decided to go ahead and crack open my new bb an give it a try to hopefully at least get some pain relief if nothing else.

First thing I noticed was the very pleasant almost sweet smell. Very clean smell and taste. About one hour in now and my tooth pain is gone and I even have some pleasant facial itching going on. Suprised how much effect i'm getting considering the sub in my system. I imagine it would truly be incredible if I didn't have that in my system.

Dose was approx.4.5-5g(2 level baking teaspoons) I know i know need a scale, have one ordered actually(whenever amazon decides to ship..) now that i'm planning to get more into kratom and off subs. Overall a 7/10 allowing for some of effects i'm sure were reduced because of sub I took could be way better probably without that factor.

wow that's a decent Red from BB, to cut through your suboxone.. We usually recommend stop subs completely before starting kratom. I guess U know that.. sounds like your on your way!! Congrats! Yes getting a digital scale, is the #1 tool for using kratom, since its just a bulk powder.. down the road, you'll need to manage/ lower/ taper/ your kratom, to avoid Tolerance and keep it working. Yes i'm definitely impressed with bb so far, actually went ahead and reordered this strain last night after trying that out. I tried stopping subs completely a month or so ago with that purkratom nonsense and 3 days in I gave up because it wasn't even helping a little with bad withdrawal symptoms. I can tell this is going to be much more successful. So glad I found this forum and the recommendations on here.

Hello! Nice on having a low sub dose. I actually just took my last suboxone 2 weeks ago now. I didn’t even plan on completely stopping, but I wanted to see if I could increase the potency of my burns. Well, after the third day, I realised I like Kratom way better than subs. More natural, better and more noticeable effects/feeling, and less side effects. I really think you could get off the subs!

I was on a 2mg dose as well, about twice a day. It didn’t really do anything for me at all except keep me in a perpetual state of needing it or be in withdrawal. But it certainly didn’t make me feel good or give me euphoria or anything. Kratom is 10 times better and also better for you, at least I would think. Maybe some extract to begin with would help, but I am starting to find good plain leaf having the stronger effects over the extracts overall, but extracts are more consistent in their effect profile obviously, and have a bit more legs. They can certainly help to get off the subs the first few days. I actually recommend OPMS capsules, they’re pretty killer. The phytoextractum extracts are pretty nice too.

The hardest part about the first few days just taking plain leaf was also just the dosing itself was a bit of a challenge when I felt like shit in the morning, and encapsulated extracts certainly made that easier.

By no means am I recommending extract if you can get by with plain leaf, or for an extended period of time. The normal plain leaf really is the way to go in the long run, and has better more rounded effects too. Good luck, and let me know if you need any help.

Keep going with reducing that sub intake. It’s not easy... But Kratom helps immensely! This is Day 38 complete sub free for me.
