So, my mother's boss has tested positive for the Virus    :!: :!:

He was at the office with the rest of the worker's for the past week!! I kept telling her to stay home, that her job was not essential personal.

Welp, guess my family will see if Kratom is any good at combating the virus

Yep Here It Comes... this will sweep through every U.S. state and town.

Stay Healthy! DO NOT get sick for any reason.. Hospitals will soon be overwhelmed. Here the main Hospital is setting up E.R. tents in the Parking Lot - nobody is allowed IN to the hospital, without first going through a check

Question: How many Hospital beds/ per population, in your area? TWO weeks. We'll see in 2 weeks.. State by state. Yes they've had to setup 'Death Panels' and there IS a decision model, for people who go to E.R.- Old People like me, will NOT get a ventilator.. so IF I get sick, I'll be staying right here

Uh oh. Possible outbreak coming in the biggest care facility in the area here. Two positives, one died yesterday.

Remember a couple weeks ago we were discussing this... this is exactly what I saw as perhaps the greatest risk. The healthcare system becoming overwhelmed like Italy. Trump has been a joke handling this, but let's be honest, America's dependence on supplies from other countries and our for-profit health care system are at the root of why we are so ill-prepared to handle this type of pandemic. Experts have raised alarms about these very issues for along long time, before Trump and Obama. Even if we had a different president and completely different response, the country would still not have the supplies to handle a crises of this size. Of course, a response like South Korea would have likely been the only way to stop the spread. We would have shut the entire country down a while ago, and even then, would have had to ensure people followed the guidelines.

This is a result of a broken system, and our politicians are taking their sweet ass time to pass a damn relief bill. The Dem bill is 1400 pages, and while there is a lot of good in it and by far much better than Reb bill, it is still not anything like what governments in Europe are doing (paying 80% of wages and stopping all rent/bills)

This is a nightmare that will only get worse. Anyone paying attention could have seen that coming, and can see things getting worse unless there is a drastic change in our society (staying home) and our politicians do what other countries have done by paying wages and suspending bills

I'd give anything if I could stay home. I'm being forced to work because our business is "essential". We make food boxes. Hardly worth risking your life over. But yet here we are, sharing tools, keyboards, computers, breathing spaces, while management sits in their Cloroxed corner offices.

Get this, while they are still open for take out, the MANAGERS are doing the cooking and working the cashier and take out, not cooks or cashiers!!. They furloughed everybody, when many places are at least keeping the cooks and cashiers there, or giving them a choice. And to put the cherry on top of their terrible treatment of employees, they are waiving delivery fees. Order $15 or more and delivery is free!

So let's get this straight - you're waiving a delivery fee while all employee's have been furloughed, but why not donate the delivery fee to a work fund for employees? 16% of all sales in the last quarter were deliver or pick up curb-side. Imagine if they donated the delivery fees of every order to a company staff fund... it would at least let us employees think they are trying some way to help. How the fuck you going to waive delivery fees (from Door-dash, that is, we don't deliver from the store, we have delivering service do that) and waiving those fees helps the companies that are thriving in business right now (Uber-eats, door dash)? Hell, they could have let staff members drive around delivering food instead of outsourcing to another company.

Ugh. This is the same kind of ghoulish mindset that forces employees at places like Abercrombie & Fitch to throw last season's clothing into a dumpster instead of giving it to charity.

Just some notes from Illinois during The Plague:

Two people have been arrested (or maybe not) for coughing on cops and claiming to have the virus. At the same time I have read that there have been no arrests in Chicago since this mess started. I find this impossible to believe, but it does suggest what cowards we have working for LE in IL.

A nurse has been fired from her hospital for telling other personnel that re-using the same masks all day had become procedure and that it was unsafe. Well, that's one very honest healthcare worker who won't be there for us.

Hey y’all. Thank you for the perspective. Brave777, before I forget, don’t ever change that avatar! I laugh EVERY TIME IT COMES UP! you brought up an issue I’ve been wondering about. I’m in 12 step meetings and after the holidays, two idiots, um, I mean friends (and members) walked in to our meeting phucking sick like practically snot running down their faces, “sorry were late! Weve been SO SICK, but no worries, we are on antibiotics and feel much better!”

I was SO PHUCKING MAD. pardon the language but that was unacceptable and I have had difficulty forgiving them for thinking they need a meeting is more important than passing a virus (antibiotics is nothing but apparently a placebo in this case) to the entire community. I’m immune compromised as many of us are dealing with health issues here on the forum, I suspect. Two days later I started a pet sitting assignment and I barely survived getting in the house with all my stuff. I packed every botanical I had since I had no idea what this was besides incurable. I could just tell I was SCREWED SICK OMG I could not walk EXCEPT to feed the dogs and I managed to get them outside as needed. The weather was awful and I wore layers of 2-4 sweatshirts at a time with poop bags in one hand, Kleenex in the other and my phone/flashlight. I wore the hoods on windy days and probably scared the neighbors seeing a zombie schlepping pugs in the SAME FILTHY BLACK SWEAT ENSEMBLE...day after day after day after day. Saw the dr once and was told to get plenty of rest and fluids. Went again the 2nd week and they gave me a z pack to shut me up...I couldn’t work and my boss was like, “I know you’re sick, but you can’t post this online?” I mean, it was ridiculous. I couldn’t do ANYTHING. He’s the most understanding boss, as I turned in a timesheet after timesheet with day after day of ZERO HOURS.

I hardly bothered with kratom because the virus made me immune to the benefits. Everyone now is saying, “well I have kratom, so I’ll be doing this or that” (in other discussion areas on the tooic). I can say that whatever I had did not respond. The good news is, I felt too chitty to feel ANY signs of missing it and I’m a chronic pain/depression gal. Did not miss it AT ALL. My throat was scratchy and the idea of continuing to try was not even the least bit desirable?! Crazy. Instead, I ate oranges. I have still been eating oranges every day since (January is not so long ago. I just got over that thing). I also finally started using Hirsuta (??) which I had along because I have been taking it for when my mind gets cloudy (like from this virus) in the days prior. Like almost 2 weeks before that, I started craving Hirsuta instead? I ordered more because I wanted to know if there are different strains of Hirsuta, JUST prior to this. I found out, “no. As far as I can tell, Hirsuta is not varied by strains” BASED ONLY ON two vendors so far. Good vendors y’all like. I used that stuff only and minimally (one teaspoon in am and one in Kate afternoon) for the end of the second week and well into my third week. I added one capsule of kratom of any kind at night and some akuamma for sleep. I ended up eventually getting almost a full restart tolerance!

I’m only telling this story because I have never ever been that sick and I’m 55! A lot of people in the 12 step program got it because we are huggers. It spread like wildfire. I was on a 3 week “quarantine” with these cute pugs. I have wondered since, “what if my germs are still in the house?” I am an OCD cleaner when I feel well and I started to rally and ENJOY KRATOM that last day. So I cleaned up pretty much better than when they left.

I’m wondering if that was related to this?! I know several people were hospitalized FROM THAT VIRUS AND OUR DAM MEETINGS because they got it even worse and it became pneumonia for the smokers (I only quit vaping September 2018 because I couldn’t afford it and I knew it would be banned long before illness was the excuse. A friend in the industry told me). One guy has STILL been on sick leave since then with various lung issues. Still! I’m worried about folks like him.

If I had been home, my Mom would have gotten it and been hospitalized with pneumonia. I told her that and she brushed it off like I was exaggerating. I don’t exaggerate. I complain a lot but I don’t fluff up the story. At least 3 friends in the program were hospitalized and the rest of us got various versions like mine, only more coughing, shorter duration.

My hope is that I got it already so I can BE OF HELP TO OTHERS. Especially for Mom since she has not been very careful, invites friends in for a chat n stuff - finally stopped a few days ago. I don’t want to BE SICK because she will get it AND I can’t care for her if I’m in bed with this thing.

I think kratom use is a great way to live and someday the eff dee yay will have egg on their faces because it ALREADY SAVES LIVES but the eff dee yay never believes the science when it’s invisible! It has to be IN THEIR FACE WITH BLOOD to get them to put people before money.

It just makes me wonder and I start wearing my conspiracy theory hat more in recent weeks.

Big pharma was probably supposed to get a vaccine ready to go along with their magic pain med that got pulled at the last minute before that Gottlieb resigned to spend 5 minutes with his family and then work for medical devices that go without ANY oversight and sell to Medicare like candy! Free money there. The eff dee yay is after kratom NOW?! Why now? They time their attacks carefully.

I’m sorry to drag on about this, but in case there is something helpful in here...like the mitraphylline in Hirsuta and Cat’s Claw - that helped. Oranges. I still cannot eat enough of those. My body told me what to do. I only went along with it, hoping to not need to be hospitalized because nobody could watch these dogs!

I also heard VERY UNVERIFIED BASED ON BS RUMORS that ibuprofen is a potentiator with this virus. It won’t hurt anyone to avoid that stuff so please do. Just on the off chance there is truth out there. I hope your loved ones are ok, I’m worried about people eating from the Cheesecake Factory type of places here - thanks to you Mikeedoessomething I think? I can’t scroll back to refer to names. Mamametalrocks, I’m sorry I’m getting the names wrong but I really worry about you with that factory job.

My boyfriend got an official document at his job last night stating he is an “essential employee” at the business name and he was told to carry that on his person and in his vehicle. Last night’s shift, so basically today.

I’m in Santa Cruz. Same town as SomethingSacred, some of you might be familiar with him. He’s my replacement at ILK. We are advocates FOR THE PEOPLE, like you guys here.

Please take good care. My heart is with y’all every day. Thank you for sharing your stories for historical reference! Kratom on,

Thanks for “listening”,

Laurie

Oh and the news had a couple of people who believed Trump is medically trained and prescribed meds during his press conference. They went to a pet store and found chloroquine (I’m not well rested, you know that stuff they’re talking about that MIGHT BE helpful). They bought some and are now in the hospital for ingesting a fish tank cleaning agent.

Be careful out there! No pet store chemicals are recommended for immunity. I would love to know they concluded that ONLY THEY should live?! They sounded a bit old for starting a new world with reproduction! LOL

I saw on Reddit earlier that a WA radio station will no longer run the White House press conferences live because of "false and/or misleading information" i.e. Trump vomiting out whatever happens to come into his little peabrain.

I asked son what he wanted for a big meal today, probably the last meal directly from the store and not out of our pantry or freezer. Meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes and gravy. Best part is meatloaf sammiches tomorrow!

I came in the store just long enough (gloved and masked) to pick up a prescription. One I've been waiting on because the pharmacy has been having trouble getting in albuterol inhalers. There was a man about 70 in front of me being helped already. I was at the 6' mark behind him. Suddenly he turns VERY slightly and COUGHS INTO HIS HAND and goes back to fiddling with the keypad.

The pharmacy lady and I both immediately backed up about 4'. She grabbed a bag from the next thing over, dropped his prescription in it and literally almost threw it at him from about 4' away. Then she waved me over to the other cash register.

People are IDIOTS thank god I'm going to be able to quarantine completely for a while. Son is still working (hotel desk clerk) but has agreed to keep his work clothes in the basement where the washer and dryer are (outside door) and do his changing down there.

Its not bad every where, our job is doing 2 weeks off with full pay from company itself, and 10 thousands people thats a lot to pay. well maybe minus the temp agency, they dont get that support. Maybe they get something else i dont know. But i am still going in everyday and everyone is fine. There is one thing that bothers me alot, last month everyone went trough some kind of sickness, i seen co-workers cough, sniffle and spit out yellow goo into trash and looked very bad shape, NOT ONE GOT SEND HOME!!!?? BUUTT yesterday when one person coughed, they send him home right away and everyone already went trough some sort of sickness including me... why do they care only now is beyond me... But our job is as business as usual. We just get 2 weeks off that's all. Like corona dont exist, they might know some inside knowledge since they not worried at all i dont know. At the same time what are the chances its regular flu and when they need help they close down hospitals?? I am starting to think its just regular flu that people being hit with, not one person had a virus on our 10 thousand job plant. News making Fear triple the size what it suppose to be, if they didnt do that in a first place then they would not have to control how many customers can be in the store and limit eggs and milk 1 per customer. I checked all stores they all stocked up all the way, milk , eggs, everything!

Like even Furry Potato example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sGNKB2KrcE

As long as trucks are running and not being stopped, we get our stores stocked up! once trucks stop running or some evil people make them stop delivering food, thats when you should really panic and go buy, other then that you will have lots of food rotting away, unless you rotate and start eating it all right now, this is our current 2012 that was suppose to happen but only happened now.

Another thing i noticed, i have almost everyone a democrat on our job, all the co-workers talking about that 1,000 dolor they will get once trump signs something, i thought they were joking, so i looked up and find out that was blocked. I was like wwhaaat ? at this time especially people need it, some greedy fools need not be in office. Only scums can block that. Imagine all the people who lost a job and need it asap!!!??? I am very lucky to have this job but some jobs are not that nice like ours. But it would still be cool if all company paid something to their co workers be it temporary off job or if layed off, give them some kind of financial boost. But i dont thing this will happen. I am just waiting to see what will unfold, these days we have no clue what will happened next.

I'm sure y'all got the update that Covid-19 is OVER in 18 days and this Easter, America is having it's ribbon cutting ceremony, "Now Open for Business! Because the Cure (Social Distancing) is worse than the Disease"

So that's some cheerful information, isn't it. New York still needs 30,000 respirators and the government is so over it, so we should send our spare respirators to the governor--I know I have a few strewn about the house, along with a couple of extra hospital beds. It's up to us to chip in! After all, who else will?

Sorry, but I'm pissy and bitter and my GF doesn't want me to listen to Coronavirus shit for at least 24 hours. I am suggesting to you all, if don't listen already, to marathon binge rSlash on Youtube. His videos are a hilarious clusterfuck of entries to r/entitled parents, r/choosing beggars, and many more wonderful things. If you don't know what it means when I say Karen, take a break from the four horsemen of the apocalypse and get on the tubes. Look up rSlash. Maybe rSlash Karen, or go on a year through everything he has ever posted. He is the only 'content reader' I actually like, okay love, so rSlash or bust for those of you partially losing your shit over Covid Crap. It's this, or talking about kratom, that has prevented me from being on twitter, making death threats I don't mean, but nonetheless likely having to prove it to the Secret Service that I'm not a threat when they show up at my door, disabled and rancid in sweat pants that need to go to the laundromat but I'm too scared to make it happen.

Or, watch puppies and kittens on the Dodo. YouTube has become a honeytrap for fear and rage, and it is rSlash that keeps me laughing until I cry, only this time, in a good way.

We could have a Double M Karen haircutting contest. Winner gets a key?

GOOD! Even if the radio is just providing 'background' noise, those harmful messages are attaching themselves to the memory/

I just don't think people have had enough time to change habits they have used for so long (that guy has been coughing into his hand for - what - 65 years (or whenever his mom told him to cover his mouth  ) All we can do is what YOU did - back up a few feet. I'm not going to be scolding anyone because I'm afraid I"ll get punched in the face. Hell, I ended up in the ER after a meth addict (with 2 kids in her cart!) attacked me at a Dollar General.

I'm just happy you were able to get your inhaler. Most of our pharmacies are only drive-up now, so I don't know how people without cars are getting along. I hope you and your son have an extra-great time

Day 5. Slept in until 10:00. Dreading the thought of switching my sleep schedule back when I go back to work.

Had a Telemed appt with my PCP at 11:00. She says the medical community here expects to see peak infections in about 2 weeks.

I forgot to stockpile chocolate. I hate myself.

Well my job got 2 weeks off march 28 too April 12. Instead the april 3rd till april 19. And many other company's in south Carolina is started same time 2 weeks paid, and its not one plant or two. Catching the drift? I got few friends working in other plants, and some think its planned. Someone at work even said trough out history april 1 and april 13 are the dates that elites love to use to plan evil things and their own agendas. well it does cover those 2 weeks. and 100% management convinced as well we all coming back on april 13. There is no ifs. You coming back to work! and its most all plants here. No one is worried about no CV up, business as usual. No one infected. And how many of those people you know personally who got infected? its all over the place its false positive. Do a little research and you will see i am right. We dont know but there is something else ugly behind all this. Economy reset? Forced mandatory vaccines everywhere? Arrest for pedophiles and knock on the doors for those who been removing information from facebook, youtube or google? I DO NOT KNOW. but it is something for sure. You will soon will come to find out all this fear porn is very promising kinda like that 50 ton storage guy who came in convincing and i didnt like him a bit, i feel the same about this and we will soon to find out. My main point, you said 2 weeks, those 2 weeks are talked about everywhere. Maybe trump knows its all fake and wants people to work, because i am sure convinced iam going back to work on the 13th, there is no ifs. All people should in may contract their jobs, should be all settled by then, even if you were fired. Ask me if i am worried, not a bit. and thats 10 thousand people job just my plant that everyone is returning on april 13, i will update more if we return on april 13 or not. Which i know i will. But will see how right iam..

Also all over some news and all over youtube experts speaking out, CV never killed anyone, just one example

DR KAUFMAN M.D. EXPLAINS HOW THIS IS ALL FAKE.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZzIxnCHVDM

Side note, zero masks, zero inspection of anyone at our job, no one CAREs!!!! Also at work there is no such thing as 6 feet distance, everyone is pilled up touching each other and not once anyone mentioned to keep 6 feet stance, now thats just my work, and everyone borrowing my cash dolor money to buy something from snack machines . .

If want many links i can flood this post but you all have brains to do a little research. RichieFromBoston youtuber i dont agree his religious beliefs and his Jesus thing but i watch him once in a while because he always pulls out good info from his ass and he is on point most of the time.

there is tons of other good youtubers, let me know if want many links that proof all this is fake. Those who stocked up, need to start eating that food now. lool Hope i was helpfull to this Coronavirus discussion forum... Just remember this wont last long. people are waking up.

I wish I could believe that it is all fake, unfortunately I know people who actually have it. It seems like a very horrible version of the flu. I dont personally know anyone who has died from it, but the virus is real and people are getting very sick. Just stay clean everyone, try to keep your distance, and keep your hands washed.

Well I'm going to be honest with you brave, I hope that you're right. I dont want to lose any more family to this, so I hope that the whole thing is false propaganda and that life goes back to somewhat normal in April.

I know i am right, I been at lows and home depot buying stuff to paint and other projects, there is no way anyone will convince me to lock my self in a house and distance my self from people, same tactics were applied in world war 2 Germans and others . Got zero fear, i dont watch TV, on my days off staying out door painting or some other projects like planting tree's is what i love. Right now i am planing to go nursery garden buy more tree's. Also home depot and low's is packed with people, everyone want to catch up improving their garden or house or fix things up. And i am very glad that is happening. I would highly advice move on with your life if got fired or layed off, Its not the end of the world, look it at as another opportunity, if got some money saved up, do some fixing around or spend time outside, once everything settled you can contact your old job or find another one. And if anyone dies, it could be from multiple stuff, bad food choice, sleeping next to a smart meter, smoking a lot, drinking to much alcohol and accident, i mean i can go on and on. Cancer will catch up, you cant blame ALL on covid. Everyone will die some day, so go out and enjoy life, fear and stress is also a killer if you didnt know that... My mom had issues too, she's old, and that understandable and normal, and i know if something happens she was a good mom and will be in memory for ever but her coughing stopped. No one is sick anymore in family, seems like it was like a train, everyone had something, every memeber, now no one is coughing and everyone is feeling good. i am sure you all felt it too, i heard there is 40 patents on different corona's but none of them kill. Perhaps if you dont care much about health you will go first, i myself quit smoking and drinking 6 years ago. and i am glad i did, i got tons of energy especially with this kratom... kratom on and enjoy, and just know news is all about fear and make you stress for no good reason, once covid 19 dies, it will be another subject and then another, so when will people learn to chill out? And call out the BS?

Always remember , to take care of your self, better food choice, maybe some walk around block, parks, get some fresh air, or open windows often, air is important. Your body is a temple and if its broken you go and die faster. take care of the temple and you will live long and happy. Stop all bad habits. No one wants to die and yet everyone or a lot practice bad habits religiously and then they wonder later if they will survive cancer or not when the system is designed to give you chemo therapy...

I tell you one thing for sure, KRATOM does helping get over flu's!

Here in Raleigh I don't know what the criteria is, except probably having money and connections, which my mom's boss has both of. No one at her office has been tested. No one has been questioned or been contacted.

Thanks, my friend. So far all of us are okay. I don't want to jinx myself though lol... I am lucky that I have some safety net, in that late last year me and my mother took out a $25,000 loan, and used it to pay off all of our debt. So I have available credit on my credit card and my mom has a nice amount of credit that we could use to get by. Of course that would suck and is our last resort, but just having that safety net really helps with the stress. I also set $6thousand dollars aside for taxes, but I can always use that right now if need be. I've applied for unemployment like millions of others and everyone's cases are still pending. No one I work with has gotten approved or gotten any money yet and we've been closed since last monday.

I stocked up on about a month worth of food before hand, we have our medications for the month, and I went on a kratom buying binge but look at that as an investment lol... I wish I could find a way to advertise to sell locally, as with all the vape and head shops closed, I could supply the entire city haha  But Facebook censors and removes any post that even mentions the word Kratom. I'm thinking of creating a reddit account and going into the local NC sub-reddit and maybe posting something there. This could be a really good opportunity to both help people out and bring in some income. Trying to figure it out.

And Cheesecake Factory announced yesterday they will not e paying rent NATIONWIDE!!! And they are about to layoff managers, it seems. I am close friends with an area director and spoke with him yesterday. Cheesecake considers it less expensive to just shut down completely, and they are considering closing until JUNE!! Nothing official, but these are the talks going on. No take out or delivery, they may just shut down business for a few months! People are starting to get, um, anxious I guess is a word. Lots of small talk and jokes about what happens when food runs out. I fear they will not be jokes very soon! And my county just issued a ban on giving gun permits for people looking to buy a gun. I was considering getting a gun, never had one before, just for worst case emergency protection scenario, but unless you had a permit already you can't buy a gun now. Gun sales I saw were up like 3000%... Yeah, says a lot about what the future may hold.

Be safe, and thanks for the reaching out. This is just the beginning of what will be a long road ahead. NYC is days away from crumbling it looks like. Everyone be safe and look out for one another. This is the time when we all need to help each other as much we can.

Aaaaaannnnd yet another conspiracy theory... One hell of one at that!! Even if you truly believe all that crap, how about "better safe than sorry"?!
If not for you and your family, there are lots of other people out there trying to take care of themselves/loved ones!!! Why contribute to the chaos, and the reckless risky behavior?!

I know we aren't treating it like a joke. Our shoes stay at the door. We strip first thing when we get home and immediately take a shower. Any groceries we bring home we disinfect before we put them away. I cant take any chances with me 6 month old.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and I would never think less of anyone for them, but I think I'll stick with my current 'distancing' rule. My husband is 60+, with heart disease and recently discovered atrial fibrilation. He has fairly healthy habits so he doesn't get sick often. But the stress is wearing on him - and on me. I'm ten years younger but have Lupus and another condition whereby I have to take immunosuppresant drugs. WE HAVE to take this pandemic seriously. What happened in China and Italy is not a hoax. The 'body count' in Italy is so vast that some officials are considering mass graves. OK, I think THAT is a bit sensationalist; at the same time, the 'boxes' are piling up so fast in makeshift morgues (churches) that officials are having to make decisions like this. One cannot catch COVID 19 from a deceased, but there is a REASON why the unfortunate dead must be dealt with.

I worry for you brave; bravely getting up and going to work to keep things running. I must admit that I am VERY curious what kind of plant you work at, because what you do certainly must be essential: food production? Equipment production? We all so easily forget that the things we ALL STILL NEED have to be made somewhere Will these things still be available in a month? To hell with toilet paper. Will I have to trade a warm coat for food next December?

I simply can't imagine what life as a 20-something would be right now. The need to congregate (and hook up ;) ) is STRONG. The need to find a way to earn a living is even STRONGER. And Americans are not famous for their self-discipline (well, not since the '50s). What will the history books say? I'm pretty sure that someone will congratulate Darwin for getting all of those "useless old people out of the way because they gobble up resources and give nothing back." But, excuse me: these people worked F*cking hard all of their lives. Why shouldn't they enjoy some happy years after all of their sacrifice? Not to mention that SO many grandparents are raising their grandchildren because 1. Their kids can't afford childcare and 2. A lot of their kids aren't working because they over-estimate their 'gifts' and won't work retail, etc. Many grandparents raise children of parents who are suffering horribly from addictions. People over 60 are one of our greatest resources. The Lt. Governor of Texas is a FIEND for suggesting that older AMericans should sacrifice themselves for capitalism.

This pandemic is forcing a RECKONING for all of us - on that has been long in the making, imo. Personally, I am not going to go out unless I have to because I don't want to infect the love of my life. But if we do get sick and cannot fight it, I hope that we can pass together, in each other's arms... Because loneliness is a killer all on its own.

We've been leaving our shoes at the door for a few weeks now. Son is on Day 2 of 3 days off and when he goes back to work, he will be changing in and out of work clothes in the basement which has an outside door. I haven't been disinfecting groceries yet but am going to start. Son went shopping yesterday morning and I told him to get himself enough for two weeks (on top of the emergency food I have stashed) because we aren't shopping every week anymore.

I know your area has been hit hard. There is enough in your groceries to shop for two weeks? We are in Illinois with 26 deaths state-wide and it's still hard to find a dozen eggs. As I have written before, gun sales have sky-rocketed here. Conceal and Carry is legal. Personally, I don't think ANYONE should own a gun - including cops.

But I'm predicting that 2 months from now local Walmarts will be closed down because selfish jerks will be assassinating each other over a whole chicken the way they bludgeoned each other over a wide-screen TV during Black Friday. What have we come to

We are shopping the same way. We go when they open and hit as many stores as we need to to get what we need. Beyond that and work we aren't going anywhere. I got a negative result on the COVID-19 test I took and thought that meant I was good to go back to work. But got called today saying I need to stay isolated because there is a 30-40% chance that it is a false negative.

Grey I understand your concern not to go out, we also keep an eye on mom and strongly advice her not to leave any where except friends big property where she can breath all the fresh air and lots of tree's and camp fires, she says that helps improve her health so much each visit, thats why i said air is important, on sunny good days open windows or if got forest , get a book and sit under the tree and read or eat out in backyard where lots tree's are. . If she needs any food, items, she tells us. We go buy. I think anyone over 50 and have some health issues should not leave the house to meet people, flu's are real and they been taking older people away year after year, why focus on it only right now is beyond me. What makes me mad is people focus on all the negatives instead why not focus on all the good, all the stuff they still have, call a friend you use not like and still hate, tell them how sorry you are and make up, there should be lots on your list to do to improve all area's of your mind , spirit and of course your temple, make herbal tea's , sip and talk all the things you can help someone who is in need. I am going to ask around family memebr's and see who is struggling most with bills or food, i plan to do my duty and drive and buy what they have on the list and deliver. Imagine if everyone cared, it would be so much better instead on focusing how much people died, we dont know how many died from covid 19, after all it could be same story as kratom, when they tried to ban and pushed it all over news that kratom is bad and it kills people. How sure are we it was covid 19? how legit those tests? is there a video step by step shows how they do tests and how it works'? anyone seen one? Also since you first one asked where i work, i work at BMW plant, we last year started making GO7 new cars. They are not cheap and every car is an customer order. They even in south carolina they will be closing for two weeks on the news, my x girlfriend called me and told me before they even told me at work. I really hope everything goes well for you Grey you are a very nice caring person. Eat good, take good vitamins, boost your immune, stay safe and hope for the best. I think each time we talk negatively about this and that, we affect others are lot and they continue to spread the message, lets give family and friends ideas of all the cool things they can do at home or if got property to go out and enjoy some tasks while getting some fresh air.

Herbalhippie the stores are also very stocked up here, i mean FULL.. its maybe in some area's somehow the truck didnt make it to store? like i said as long as trucks drive your store will have food, always ask around to manager or who ever how often they get a truck delivery. i worked for 8 years at Fred Mayers in portland OREGON, thats where i am from, i was assistant manager and the only Spanish speaker to translate people who didnt know how to read WIC for kids. I know every 3 days days most stores should have a truck or if smaller store at least once a week.

I just watched

I think everyone will like it.

Brave, you're very sweet to be taking care of your mom like that. Our mom is 81 and we won't let her go any place either. She has 3 kids and 6 grandkids so there is no reason she should have to leave for anything. It's hard on her though, she's very independent.

You have always been one of my very favorite commenters here, brave :)

Your are original, thoughtful and I love the way you look past the obvious where so many of us just stop thinking. And even though I worry about everyone here, I truly believe that you are going to be just fine.

Your attitude is 'contagious' too  . When I read your posts I feel much more calm, and you are right; it doesn't do any good to focus on the negative constantly. I have to own up to doing that. It's so difficult when it feels as though all of your choices are disappearing.
Stay well, friend.

Hey y’all.

So interesting to hear your thoughts and experiences in the “real world”. Santa Cruz (CA) is fairly isolated. 2 roads in and out are always jammed, so if fire occurs, we will burn. Tsunami, we will drown. Covid19 is a cruel death. Not enough air.
I think I already told you all this stuff before. But for context, Mom is 77 with respiratory issues and I’m just compromised immune (undetermined cause besides anemia but it is what it is). We are “stay at home” chicks, so we have already had fights about the bathroom n stuff, talking in tones for when I was 15..... Oddly, I have spent ALL SPARE TIME contacting anyone and eve
Thanks for being a part of today's solution!
