I have a question for you.
I recently had a friend go to indonesia and he stated there is no strains. He provided video and picture evidence. He and all the natives said no strains just kra-tom. They showed him that the trees have Red, White and Green Veins during it's growth on the same tree. When the leafs are young the veins are red and when fully matured they become Green. They take all leafs no matter the vein color and throw them in baskets to out on a truck and later crush it and blend without sorting the colors.
They states Red, and other colors are the product of fermentation and drying and blending percentages of Red/Green. They also said White is the bones mixed with Red and Green. They said bones are the skeletons or left over old veins that turn white almost powder white. They add the white bones to red/green mix and this helps it turn to white color.
I'm not saying different blends or colors don't feel different. They do. But I've noticed all Kratom has a stimulant effect in smaller doses and a opiate like(sedating) effect in higher doses. But different batches and different blends and drying processes change the effects.
What do you think about this? When you get your different types are you aware of how they become whatever exotic name? Do you blend some to make your favorites?
When i find a type i like for example Green Zombie, i log down the batch number and lot. This allows me to know which to order every month.
