The first bag of Red Borneo I got was slightly fermented- sort of a light brown. After trying it a couple times I bought another. Curiosity got the better of me and I opened that second bag to see if it was the greener colored one I had heard about. My second quarter is brown as well. I didn’t ask them for a specific batch or anything when I ordered. I wonder if she just got confused on which was the older batch? I have been happy with everything I got from them, but the Borneos have been outstanding to me.

I just talked to Julia and she's going to ship out that replacement today. I actually ordered some more because this is the best strain I've ever had for anxiety along with that Royal bent from 2017 from RVA.

She also said that this yellow Borneo was a new batch they opened up two or three weeks ago so what I get will be the same. It looks like they have a lot left too if anybody else wants to snatch some of this up.

Just received my Yellow Borneo in the mail. Unfortunately it was only one quarter kilo instead of the two I ordered and paid for -- Guitar Todd quote: "Same exact thing happened to me."

• Trigger promotes his buddy, an old, over-priced vendor from many years ago.
• Website is outdated. Half their strains are Out Of Stock! Reviews from 4+ years ago.
• One strain is hyped. Red Borneo samples mailed. Bait And Switch, totally different leaf!!
• 2nd strain is pushed. Vendor claims the Yellow is made from White leaves lol
• Two out of Two orders, get shorted HALF their paid purchase.

At this point, seems like a WARNING! is definitely in order ??

This vendor was never on the Reddit Vendor List, for good reason - their prices were un-reasonable. Appears these folks started their business 5+ years ago.. And then didn't keep current, when prices dropped in early 2017 - Out of 200+ active vendors this Summer, there is NO reason to buy from sketchy ones right now, it's a Buyers Market out there! Good Luck to Kratom Trading Co. and.. those who are waiting...

Funny how you shit on every vendor I recommend that isn’t on your list without even trying them. Mitra Man, Benni’s, Lucky, Otie’s, Maluku, and now this. It was just a matter of time until you inserted yourself into this thread. Not even just me - you insert yourself and take fat thread dumps any time a new vendor appears that you haven’t heard of. It’s pathetic and transparent. I’ve wasted probably at least a grand on sub-par to bunk leaf buying from your “approved” vendor list or over-hyped recommendations. Might as well have lit that money on fire. You act like you’re an authority and like you know what you’re talking about, but you’re entirely full of crap.

When asked when you were going to share your special master list of 350 vendors, you said you needed to get paid for it. Such a joke. Not sure why I (or anyone else) thought someone (an adult) named “ballz deep 9” would have any sort of credibility or deserved to be taken seriously. In Gumby’s incredible and informative thread, you even try to make him wrong by posting a video of an indo farm “washing” their leaf by dragging branches in a filthy river.

Here’s some facts.

• This vendor isn’t my buddy - just my first online vendor from years ago before I found reddit.
• My buddy was a girl I’ve known since HS who I introduced to kratom. She never stopped ordering from KTC and told me of the strength of the recent batches. That’s why I ordered.
• The two orders they were short on are being made whole.
• Everyone who has ordered has had nothing bad to say about service.
• Only two people didn’t absolutely love the leaf - most of the rest seem to think it’s fire.
• They dropped their prices because of this thread.
• They also provided a coupon just for this forum.
• They didn’t bait and switch strains. They ran out of first batch and started sending a second - which was still also very good.
• Their strains go in and out of stock frequently like many other vendors
• Their knowledge of strains is the same as every other vendor - relying on what their supplier tells them. You should know this is how it works.

Just keep not ordering from any vendor I recommend, and keep them all off your cool list. A lot of people here have been enjoying the shit out of the vendors I’ve recommended.

Update.... received the remainder of my order today. All is in order.

I gotta admit.... Julia taking the time to reach out by phone and apologize did alot to make me feel ok with the oversight. They made it right and did it fast. Can't ask for much more than that.

This doesn't change the fact that my favorite vendors are Smiley Time Herbals and Soultanic. These two vendors will get 80%+ of my spend. However, I like to try new things and was curious about the leaf at KTC. It's great and im happy i tried it. The strains I love from STH and Soultanic are better in my opinion so I will not be changing vendors anytime in the foreseeable future.

With that said.. I'm also trying out Okie, Otie's and Sacred Son this week. I enjoy the variety and who knows, one of them may suprised the hell out of me. If so, good on them. I'll happily send them more money.

I like trying a lot of different vendors as well. Variety is the spice of life, after all. Also, everyone is different. So what works for some might not work for others. It’s a good idea to find people who seem to like the same things as you and give more weight to their suggestions and less to those who tend to like different things.

Most of my money was going to BB and DGs and KOG until finding Mitra Man and rediscovering KTC. For me, they are currently most reliable. Smiley has been great as well. I spent a lot on RVA and Soul because it was so cheap, but wasn’t as wowed as others seem to have been. It’s whoever has the best batches that work best for you.

Way to go, trigger! I'm one of those people who appreciates the vendors you have recommended. What you like usually lines up with what I like. I just sampled the Red Borneo and literally just now finished the Gold Borneo from the sample pack I got from FireK. Both fire strains at less than 3 grams. I'm going to be placing that order again and in bigger amounts than the last order (I got cancellations on both orders via email today). They are back at their office so I will be placing the call. No worries about screening calls, voicemail, etc.

I'm personally sick and tired of the snark and while I keep on scrolling, it really rubs me the wrong way when it's directed at new people. Most of them just blow it off but, seriously, I quit Twitter for almost a month to get away from that kind of shit. I can be pretty damn snarky but am trying to just Not.Do.That.Shit. It's a lot easier to be nice to people or keep scrolling. OK, off soapbox.

Also, Julia said they were going to start labeling batches so customers can differentiate between them on reviews. Not sure when that’s gonna start though. I recommended using BBs method of month and year.

Nice! I look forward to your review, trigger as they have almost always led me right to the fire! My order is out for delivery so I should have it in a few hours. My mail usually comes early. I tried 4 samples that I got from FireK and I really liked their Green MD. Those usually hit me pretty hard. If I remember right, KTCs Green MD costs a little more.

I loved the Green Borneo. Kinda tied with Malay for their best green IMO. The Red Horned MD is solid as well- a little faster than the Borneo and not quite as potent- but definitely enjoyable.

After all the flap about the Red Borneo, I bit...got a half kilo...it's more of a light greenish color...It's OK, but nothing special by a long shot. I was a bit disappointed, but mostly in myself (nobody held a gun to my head and made me order a half key of leaf WITHOUT testing it first) ...cause I KNOW BETTER...ain't the first time this happened, likely won't be the last...it's a LEAF, shit happens...

I keep seeing that picture in my head of the herd of Buffalo blindly following each other off the cliff, falling to their death ...YUP, I KNOW better, but dang that cliff came out of nowhere, hahaha...

Don't feel bad, buddy. I never get the same effect as everyone else on those super hyped strains either.

I recommend Yellow Borneo, green horned leaf md, and red Borneo. But its been awhile since I ordered. The red Borneo they got in last is still quite good, but not as good as the original that prompted this thread. The yellow was amazing. I’m thinking about ordering more with this sale.
