Just got a couple samples to try out starting in the morning...If you see this post MM, I'm looking for a really energetic green...like a Green MD on steroids...You currently have anything like that?

Here's what he told me about greens when I asked him how his whites & greens are.

For greens, the Green Thai is my fastest. That and my Green MD are my most popular greens for people who like fast greens. The Kapas is also amazing and is mid-fast spec. The Bali is a very popular mid-spec and the Borneo is my most popular slow-mid green.

Hi, thanks for your question. I was working on a site, secured the domain name and got most of it built, but I decided against launching for various reasons. I know there's kind of a stigma about email only vendors but that's just where I'm keeping it right now and probably won't be launching a site within the near future. A lot of the work is already done though and I own the domain for another year (and will probably renew just in case) so we'll see in the future and I'll be sure to post here if the site ever happens. Also, thanks to everyone for the warm welcome to Double M

In my opinion, MitraMan has INCREDIBLE leaf. I’ve tried 6 strains so far and all 6 are amazing! Seriously! On top of my usual ailments, I’ve been pushing through some serious hip and thigh pain from injuring myself last week. Mitra’s stuff is providing the needed relief and sooo much more. And y’all know how elusive that “sooo much more” can be for some of us.
It’s all HOT! 3/3 flames for sure! Definitely give him a go!
For anyone interested, here’s what I got:

Red Borneo *recommend for pain
Red Maeng Da
Red Kapuas
White Kapuas
Green Kapuas
Gold Maeng Da

I honestly feel like Mitra Man has incredibly amazing leaf as well! It is wonderfully potent and special! I got the Gold Borneo, Gold MD, White Kapuas, Green Thai, and he threw in a sample of the red Sumatra. He even emailed to confirm delivery and to let me know that he would send a replacement of the white kapuas. Apparently, a couple people felt it was not as fast as usual. I was fine with it, but thought that was incredibly kind! All the vendors I have tried have had great customer service, but this really above and beyond! I can’t imagine anyone not being impressed! (And if you are, I’m sure he will change that!)
The red Sumatra is super slow, and the others are faster. They all seem very multidimensional. I bet they would also be great in blends.

He made me the same offer on the White Kapuas. It's definitely not fast or even his best fire kratom but I just increased the dose back up to 3 grams and am having better results. I have found the less is more rule definitley applies to his kratom. It's good stuff!

I bought every strain he sells, and by this time next week, I will have tried all of it. I’ve sampled most, and only one was below average (and for all I know it was because of something wonky I did that day). One other one was a 3/5, but I’ve ranked the rest 3.5/5 or better. Never had this much success across the board with another vendor. And I’ve bought from over a dozen vendors. He’s officially my favorite now. You can’t go wrong with anything he has.

Sampled Gold, Red, and White Sumatra over the last few days - all three are pretty potent and good. All three had good euphoria and pain relief. Going to try the green tonight. This morning I had white Kapuas, and enjoyed it quite a bit. I’m going to have to lower my dose for MM’s leaf because it’s spoiling me for other vendors. Just placed an order for 2 more split kilos.

Definitely lower your dose for his stuff! I bumped White Kapuas back up to 3 grams but that is the strain that may have had a mixup with the labeling. He said a lot of his customers complained about it being slower than previous batches. To me, it's not not super fast. I didn't get much out of it with my 'less is more' dose, but bumped up to 3 grams, it was fine, but still not fast. I'm wondering if a red got mixed in there.

The 6 I’ve tried are all very blendable. I find that they enhance each other rather than competing with or negating the individual effects.

This is not scientific in any way and does not account for variables. I just gave a score (mainly based on potency) to tell myself whether or not to order a larger amount. I didn’t note day or night. I took everything on an empty stomach and tried not to eat for at least 45 min. For scale, a 2.5 would be completely average - satisfactory kratom experience. A 1 would be barely feeling it and a 5 would be most potent I’ve ever had. My notes about fast or slow or euphoria or pain relief or mood aren’t included, but this is my overall score for each as I was testing everything. Since this, I gave white kapuas a 4/5. Also missing is Gold Borneo 5/5 and Green Kapuas 4.5/5 and a few others. Some of these deserved re-testing.

I have not had much success blending these. Even with leaf from other vendors. These for me work best on their own. I would like to know what blends you tried and liked.

I used to offer free 4-way splits on the 100g size, and he just got a bunch of those to cover the whole menu, then we pro-rated out the last two strains since 26 strains isn't divisible by 4. I only offer 2-way on that size for free now, and 4-way on 250g and up, then $2 per additional split. So now people usually do a 5-way split 250g for $32 shipped as a sampler. I do offer a smaller off-menu sampler, 5 strains - 30g each - $26 shipped. Been meaning to add it to the menu.

I really appreciate your split options and prices! And especially the ability to add extra splits to a quantity for $2 each. There are so many times I want to try a bunch of things and but am limited by split amounts. Plus I really like knowing how much it will cost shipped from the beginning. Thanks for being so awesome!

Truthfully, your scoring of the strains, with the exception of Red Borneo, is pretty dang close to where I’d rank them myself. That Red Borneo is up there in the 4-5 range for me. I’m placing an order for 6 new strains and I’m really excited to try the Red Sumatra now.

I found that MM’s Red Maeng, Red Borneo, and White Kapuas are good mixers for me-All 3 together or any combination thereof. I’m a fan of Liza’s Red Dayak and Kats’s White Elephant and have had success combining both of those with the 3 above in various ways.

All the Sumas are fire. Seriously. Didn’t expect that. I abandoned Sumatra a couple years ago because I had never had a suma that did anything for me. These blew me away.

For anyone curious, I give white Borneo a 3/5 - slightly above average for a white.

I tried the red Sumatra and love it! I was thinking about getting more of it and trying the other colors. How would you describe their speeds? Are they all really slow or does the green or white have more of a “daytime slow” or moderate feel to it? Also how is the gold in comparison to red? Sorry if that’s a lot of questions! I am so curious. Also, did you try the white Bali?

All the sumas were kinda slow to mid tbh. But I take 6g, so it could be that I take too much. Haven’t tried the white Bali yet. Maybe tomorrow. Depends on if I get a package today.

Y'know what, I'd bet these are REAL sumatra strains, from a real Suma supplier.

Look at all these W. Kalimantan suppliers, selling Bali, Thai, Vietnam, etc.. and Sumatra. Any Indo based in Pontianak, who gets his leaf from (Kapuas, Jong Kong, Ketapang, etc.) is NOT selling real Sumatra!! Its fake sumatra just like the fake Bali, vietnam and cambodian

BUT!! Big difference.. there ARE real harvesters/ exporters/ Indo suppliers, most working out of Medan (major city in Sumatra.) And... I'll bet the leaf is MORE wild harvested, not the Plantation stuff coming out of Ponti. There are huge jungle forests in Sumatra.. especially far North Sumatra near... Aceh!

So you reckon I’ve just been having bullshit Sumatra? My very first vendor - Kratom Trading Company - is where I got Sumatra White Vein a few years ago. it was the only strain that was bunk. Their prices were high as well anyway, so I haven’t gone back after finding Reddit. I turned what I had left into extract.

The second vendor I tried was Gaia Ethnobotanical (before the name change and before the salmonella incident) - didn’t like theirs either. I would have to go look at my collection to see where else I got some if any. I think I just stopped buying it.

Any feedback on his new batch of Gold Borneo? I saw he had a recent restock and since he had been low on it (according to his post here) I am assuming it was part of his restock. I just ordered a split Kilo from him:

Gold Borneo 200g
Red Bali 200g
Red MD 200g
Red Sumatra 100g
Green Sumatra 100g
White Sumatra 100g
Green Thai 100g

Super easy to work with. Says will ship Tuesday due to holiday weekend. Looking forward to trying his leaf. Have been dealing with frozen shoulder this past 6 months and there are days when nothing seems to break through this pain!

I haven’t done my own “blend” in awhile, and my larger MM order of 2+ split kilos just arrived, so on the menu tonight is:

I’ll let you know how it goes.

My man also included some extra samples and ginger chews, so I’m stoked. Get it while it’s hot, I’m telling you now. MM is one of those fire boutique small batch vendors that people usually keep a secret.
