That Gottlieb guy is a schedule 1 asshole. They will push people to the darkside if they ban kratom, as is happening to us chronic pain folks playing the pain management game. I've seen kratom for sale on there and used to wonder why but now know of all the state and local jurisdiction bans. This topic makes me angry

That's Twitter territory for me. I became a Libertarian after he won the R ticket. L is a better fit for me anyway. I cherish my freedom and don't really care what people do as long as they don't hurt anyone or anything. The Libertarian party introduced me to kratom! That alone is huge!

We all have our own take on current events, on history & environment. I'm old enough to remember Nixon and Watergate

Kratom HAS already broken down along political lines - Republicans in Congress tried to BAN kratom last session, Rep. Goodlatte tried & failed to get Kratom classified under the SITSA bill, as an illegal opioid.
Democrats in Congress have been pro Kratom, for example Rep. Jared Polis, who gave a speech on the floor of Congress in support of kratom. I saw it on CSPAN! Polis was just elected Governor of Colorado.
I Totally understand why they voted for Trump, that being said, Red State voters are down South, un-educated, evangelicals, are the SAME Republicans who send ppl to prison for growing pot.

Right on ballsz. The right wing is bought and paid for by big money interests. And big pharma is the industry that they spend the most on to subvert and screw the average citizen. This is one of only two countries that are allowed to openly advertise pharmecuticles and other drugs on tv commercials and in printed matter. What does that tell you? Kratom is a threat to their opioid factory and the bought and paid for American medical association that supports their policy’s.

I think anyone in prison for non-violent drug offenses should be either released or sentence drastically reduced. Our prison system is not where it should be by a long stretch.

Easy there. I'm a proud Trump Voter but I'm as liberal as they come in regard to nootropics, marijuana, and drugs in general There are things I do not agree with on the republican side, but there are many, many more I disagree on the left side.

As far as education, I have a 4 year degree in cyber security, working mainly with ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children).
