Awesome post and thorough as always. Funny, I discovered Alliant about 24 hours via Reddit before I saw this post. I am absolutely blown away by their prices. I got 6 20:1 tinctures for under $50!!! Yo Ballz! Good stuff here. Hey, can we do something or offer some incentives for folx to participate here? I felt like the community was much busier and livelier and I'm not sure what happened. I do know some are here straight up for the Trading Post, but this has been my Kratom hub for years and all the names I recognize and people...I haven't seen them at all. Lonely for the days when it was a little more active. My spouse has cancer so I come in just looking for connection and reviews or general Speciosa chatter and it's just so quiet! I am assuming if I farted in the trading post though I could get an immediate response and someone would get a great deal on my bottled fart but that is just transactional, you know?

Admittedly, I was away for nearly a year because life blew into flames. I guess that makes me realize the stark difference. I feel bad for that because I was a ghost, by force, and I understand it anyone else's life has blown up into flames. But man, people are talking about pumps and tabs and all sorts of weird stuff...I seem to have lost my Botanical Bunny and I lost my Denette, too. Where did my Bunny go? I would do a giveaway on DoubleM for a review or comment challenge but despite several cancer related lawsuits my partner is waging, who knows if anything will ever come out of these. In the meantime, I just keep giving United Health Care their pound of flesh! Just kidding. She doesn't have UHC, thank God. I do. Her insurance has only denied one thing over the course of a million dollars in treatment and though we are broke as a joke, I still keep Kratom in my life and like usual, she is getting me some Kratom for Christmas. And I'm still here! Just without pumps and shots and tabs because I'm old skool

Hey WA, good to see you back! Fear not - we will be doing some more contests in the coming year and I also have something exciting to announce soon! Sorry to hear about your partner. I've been dealing with some health issues myself and that may be part of the reason why it seems the site has slowed down a bit.

We actually get a lot of traffic from google searches, social media posts about us, etc. The issue is turning these lurkers into new users. It seems many people come here, get the info they wanted (be it a specific review they searched for or whatever) and then bounce without registering or posting. I feel that people simply want more features in this day and age. I'm actually torn. I want to update the site to more modern software to encourage more of these people to use the site, but I'm also wary to do so in case it alienates the current userbase who may prefer a more minimalist forum. From my experience running various websites over the years, people generally hate large sudden changes. I've been going back and forth on this issue for over a year now and can't make a decision.

If anyone has any ideas for things they'd like to see or input on my current conundrum, I'm all for it!

If you believe in 'the change', then go for it. Even us long-timers come and go, maybe change is what's needed in almost-2025. Luckily, kratom is still not illegal in the U.S. (and most countries) so no need to downplay what the site is about. Just regulate it, keep it free of shills please. No Kratom-coin scams etc.

Maybe consult some folks about your ideas, other webmasters, or at least some olllldddd-timers here (older than me please, I already gave my mediocre advice). Make a pros/cons list ? I dunno. But it sounds like you want to change something.
