Hello everybody! I just learned the sad news that Eric has closed up shop, which I was so sorry to hear. I wrote to him saying I hope he gives us updates on whatever his new endeavor is so maybe we can support him with his next business.
I only tried him this year and was thrilled -- thought I had tolerance but I reduced my dosage with his leaf!
Anyhow, I saw the thread posted by another Denette refugee asking for tips on vendors and EntheoFarm and NodFather came up repeatedly. I downloaded MeWe to get Nodfather's permission to order but I haven't figured it out yet (I'm old as dirt and love tech but hate Social Media). So I better order from EntheoFarm today.
Is there a new customer code for Double M Herbal members? Can you recommend strains or should I just order the sample packs? If so, should I order all four types of Samples? Which are best?
I am having a health crisis right now (genetic kidney disease) concurrent to dealing with a severely mentally ill family member's issues so I am mostly looking for strains that are uplifting rather than sedating. Even if the pain relief isn't quite as good, I need to be on my toes. (but I still order a small stock of red strains for occasional insomnia).
Thanks and best wishes, guys!
UPDATE: Just noticed I am also seeing a lot of recommendations for DTE so please also include any tips you may have about that vendor
Hi, I'm a pretty huge Entheofarm fan. Admittedly, I am red strain leaning but here are some things I love--and many of them defy color categorization--
Excellent new ones? Super RMD. It's not on the menu yet, I don't think? When you order, do RMD and in the comments request Super. Another must-have is Sun Bali. It is exactly that. Sun. I recently tried his Red Bali after spending time trying more exotic strains and it was absolutely glorious.
Favorites? As I said, Super RMD, Sun Bali, Red Bali. Definitely CL 5431. Orange MD. Haystack. Red Thai. Divine Indo. Merah Malay. Haystack! Also, I like Farmers Blend, Super White Bali, Royal Indo, Redemption. You can ask me more, or about profiles and stuff. I have tried more strains than what I haven't tried and I rather like it *too* much. Oh, I also liked/loved his Green Thai and Green Malay #6 (the latter is on sale). I even liked a faster white, White 2.1! And he includes lots of strains to sample and so I have a backlog of green strains to assess. Mostly though, my pain keeps me reaching for the reds, orange, CL 5431, etc...I will say my first reaction was, that I hadn't had anything quite like it before. It can be pricey but the code Reddit20 makes a marked difference.
If you want to know anything about either Entheo and Nodfather...when in doubt, get the Red Nod or Green Nod #______. He makes me happy. I am just an idiot that misses drops because of email stuff. I would like to flirt with Soultanic more, but I miss the drops!
My favorites are TFH, Entheofarm, and Nodfather. I am sad sad sad about Denette. The Trading Post is good, but I'm not on it...as I used to be, it is a gold mine. If you would like more specific details about Entheo and the strains I mentioned, I got you. Jon is also really nice and shoots you an email when something new and awesome emerges. I got the chance to have the Sun Bali as soon as it came out, and now it is indispensable for me. I don't know the color but I know that the name is a precise description--it is like swallowing the sunshine. I have been playing around with what my 10 way split would look like now, or a 5 way, and I actually like so many things I become frozen with indecision and guilt (my spouse has cancer, I'm disabled and I feel guilty about buying ANYTHING for myself, so the struggle is real real. But when she was in the hospital and I had a rucksack of my favorites with me, I was very happy to count Entheo as part of that traveling small and purposeful speciosa stash of goodness.
I remembered him from a long time ago and went to order Redemption. He worked it out with me that since I was new, I got a mega-sampler. I tried so many reds, greens, whites, and everything in between.
