Need help if you wear makeup, please help.

OK so, thank you for reading and hopefully I come away with some practical knowlede.

My mom is 60. She's very beautiful, petite and slender, maybe a tad too skinny. She has short, deep black hair with a little body, cut halfway down her neck with a small taper.

She doesn't wear much makeup, foundation and a little powder. I ordered her some Il makiage foundation, but she said it was equivalent to her current, which is half the price.

She looks great, naturally fair skin that is sun kissed (her ancestry is Chinese Cantonese) but has some darker spots on her cheeks. She has unshakable confidence and it doesn't bother her, but I want to do something nice for her, not expensive but effective.

Any suggestions? Back in the day i used to dabble in special effects makeup, but I don't need to turn her into a creature out of Rocky Horror.

That said, I haven't worn makeup since I was about 17 probably.

Yeah, we had major issues before, but she's a strong Christian, and it gave her the faith to keep keeping on until I got on board with reality. I am able to say I love my mom and dad without being all messed up inside, and see how much of a dummy I was.
