e_poison will have to confirm but I believe there are some IP ranges banned to keep out bad players.

Also no problem with ExpressVPN, paid version.
I suspect that Hippie is right, about a range of IPs.

Re: VPN bans
There is no VPN ban. I have the site set up with Cloudflare's firewall so your VPN could be tripping the firewall by using an IP associated with malicious traffic, blocked ASN, or blocked country. I do have some custom rule sets of course, but nothing that would specifically block an entire VPN.

Re: VPN bans
I use Adguard (adblocking VPN) but I've used other regular VPNs here, without any problem.
I can't remember which regular one I use -- it wasn't the most expensive ... I got a lifetime subscription at a deep discount on stacksocial -- I mostly only wanted it to use BBC iplayer and it worked for that, but now I just watch BBC shows on pirate sites.
Cloudflare behaves weirdly for me sometimes but only on mobile. I virtually never have any cloudflare issues on a windows laptop.
