For those of you who are unaware, there are forest fires burning in Borneo, approximately 350, that's creating havoc for Indonesia & Malaysia. The smoke is so thick over 400 schools have closed, airplanes aren't flying, & citizens are being told to evacuate. If you have an outstanding order directly from a supplier in Indonesia & it seems to be taking longer than it should, that's why. There's a lot of news stories & photos on the web about it if you want to learn more.

Yes, this is very much a real issue. Forest fires are an annual occurrence during the dry season, but this years are especially bad.

Be aware that early in my days of importing, an unscrupulous Indonesian supplier used the fires as an excuse for my order being "lost". If anyone is getting jerked around by a supplier and needs help, shoot me a PM.

Yea, heard from one of my suppliers how bad it is.

They're mostly due to the palm oil plantations clearing their land. :x

Palm oil plantations, in other words, make a wasteland out of paradise.
