DTE Botanicals - blocked order

Hello guys. I'm hoping this post finds Andrew and a resolution happens.

I have nothing but good things to say about DTE's quality and customer service, everyone on here would say the same, so this isn't meant to call anyone out, but I have had no response from anyone from the company but I know this is a rare case. Please don't let this situation prevent you from doing business with Andrew, they are an amazing small batch vendor.

A few months ago I had voiced my concerns about a batch that I received. I've been ordering from Andrew over the past 4 or so years, never once had an issue with any order, accept this one I'm mentioning. I won't go into details as what was said, but it resulted in my order being refunded (when I hadn't even voiced that I wanted a refund) and my email address being blocked from the website from future orders (without being aware of this).

Fast forward like 2 months, I went to place an order over a week ago and I had sent money right before I placed the order. Then and only then, I found out my order didn't go through and the system told me right then and there that my email was blocked from ordering. I was surprised, really. With multiple attempts to either reconcile what happened or to refund me, to no avail. It was only around 50$, not that big of a deal, but it's the principal.

If anyone is a close friend of Andrews or can easily reach out to him, please do so. There is a high probability that my emails weren't even received and he has no idea. Thanks guys!

These vendors have got to stop taking things so personal. We are allowed to voice concerns if we feel like we have them. Glad to hear you got a resolution for it though

I find very few to actually be professional in my experience.

That is crazy I've only blocked one person and that person kept doing charge backs. The kratom powder industry is hurting. I would imagine having to refund a order right now just hurts much worse then before and thus the reaction was more extreme.

Indeed, it was during a time when the batch I had ordered from was a shipment held up in Indo for like 2 months before it actually got to the vendor for me to finally get, so they were probably hurting to refund an order. I didn't know it was sitting in containers for 2 months otherwise I wouldn't of ordered it to begin with, the refund was appreciated no doubt. Some small vendors lives were at stake and not being able to continue business unless they got there drop fast. I just strait up was not happy with the quality considering the typical quality the vendor would pump out. Shipments being held up for months in scorching heat just breeds contamination and I suspected it due to the smell and how I felt after sampling it. Some people eat really well and are in tune with their body and can correlate this or that, some don't even pay any attention to it or realize contamination is even a thing.
