Need a powder replacement

I will be having surgery on my stomach in a couple weeks. I have been taking kratom for 5 years about 5-7 g every 4 hours or so during the day for chronic pain. I was wondering if you guys can recommend some good extract or some other kind of replacement. After surgery I will be on a liquid diet for about a month and be limited to 3-4 oz of liquid at a time drank over 30 minutes. So as you can see regular powder isn't going to be a good option. I'm pretty worried. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance.

I'm actually having stomach surgery tomorrow to repair a hiatal hernia and perforated diaphragm. I've been taking kratom for 8 years and have tapered down considerably the last couple of years.
I'll be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks and a soft diet for another month. I'm going to take a kratom break these first 2 weeks for a couple of reasons, mainly because I'm worried about it interfering with the opiate pain medication I'll be taking. After that I'm going to go with an extract, probably Liza's.
Good luck on your surgery!

DTE has three different extract powders that you could either add to your liquid or even just let dissolve under your tongue. They’ve also got a liquid extract shot which would be another great option.

What about making red bubble teas? I've always been hesitant to dabble in extracts. I suppose I'm either being wise or too cautious. I know I just feel safer with unadulterated powder. You can search this site for tea recipes especially red bubble.
Wishing you good health and luck with the surgery.

If you go the tea route, I'd make batches now before your surgery. Freeze it and defrost as needed.

Oh man, I know about the opiate pain medicine problem. I have been prescribed perks and hydro since I've been on kratom and let me tell you I felt absolutely nothing from them, kratom blocked it totally. I'm feeling like being in kratom withdrawal would not be great for healing. Idk. I wish I trusted my drs that I could explain to them what's going on and I could tell them about the kratom and they could help me but I'm scared they would judge me and cancel my surgery that I've been working on getting for like 5 years now. I know everything is going to work out. It's just fear of the unknown I guess. I have been cutting down too. I think I'm definitely going to get some extract and I got an herba pump spray ordered. Good luck on your surgery friend. Thanks for your support.

Even on a liquid diet does that mean you couldn't take capsules?
I'd be skeptical if you couldn't, because you are obviously going to be taking pills of some sorts (many of which WILL be capsules). But - you do what your doctor tells you (I take three of four capsules at a time and I would doubt that would change even if I was on a liquid diet, unless they took me COMPLETELY off meds of all sorts).

Hey I just posted on another thread, about How To make your own Extract Tea - in the kitchen using an Aeropress XL. Use half n half powder w/ Crushed Leaf.
AKA "Red Bubble" Tea the Aeropress works & you can also add alkaloids, as other mentioned... DTE sells Bulk powder Extract. This is the "Best Bang for your Buck".
As far as that Herba Pump website, it's just another Extract Shot product:
150 mg of mitragynine per 15 ml bottle, ~ Same as many other Shots on the market. Check out Deals on
Pure Leaf Kratom website // there are literally 100's of products now... even Gummies... Just make sure to confirm MIT content. It's all about the MIT!

So yeah I was super pissed when I got the pumps and realized they have about as much mit as a shot but the shit was 50+$ with a discount...damn man...idk how the hell I got that shit twisted, I thought it was per pump not per whole bottle...anywho, you live and learn aye. So I will check out everything you said. Thanks for looking out.

I think we have some confusion here, the product you bought Kratomluvnmomma is
https://herbapumps.com/product/mit-quick-pump/
If you got the big size it has 1400mg of a 70% Mit extract per container, with 80 servings per container each squirt contains 17mg of alkaloids/12mg of Mitragynine. I'm pretty sure my math is right on that. this pump is designed to be taken under the tongue for maximum absorption, I can usually feel a pump within a minute or 2. Sometimes I add a pump after my plain leaf dose for extra pain relief. The large tube lasts a long time. All you have to do is hold your head back and tilt the pump and the entire squeeze ends up under the tongue. Painless and tasty imo.
The product that Ballz is referring to is
https://herbapumps.com/product/15ml-golden-standard/
This is just a 150mg Mit Shot. It's a decent one and I can get 4ish servings out of each shot.

Ahhh thanks for the heads up. I did get the mit quick and I was confused I did just read the bottle of s**** really tiny but they sent me two 5 ml spray bottles and they both have 700 mg per 5ml so yes your math is matching. Thank you so much for telling me your experience and how you use it. I have been doing so much research and reading so much about kratom and different extracts and my brain is f****** fried. I just literally went to an actual shop yesterday and accidentally bought regular kratom capsules thinking they were extract capsules so I'm going to go see if they let me trade them today I feel like such a dingbat. I'm just scared man and freaking out. Tomorrow is surgery at 3pm. I'm supposed to be on a clear liquid diet till midnight and then nothing after midnight so I'm going to use this herbal pump thing after midnight.

I've used the herba pumps in place of powder they worked great for me and the big pump last me about 4 days but they are spendy I stock up when they have sale s then have them on hand because I m constantly changing the way and kinds of powder or crushed leaf tea s just here to say that making a few redbubble teas then thawing and straining the powder using the recipe here I use a cold coffee filter from Amazon they are about 5 dollars and Apple cider vinegar for the acid because lemon juice tends to hurt my stomach while acv heals it I'd also make a gallon of tea and refrigerate it waiting to strain as needed because the plant material will settle and it gets all the good ness from the leaf I can not take capsules as they don't digest for some reason you can find some great instruction s here for making redbubble tea and tea tea Amazon also sell slarge tea bags that you can fill and use to make tea just like liptons the one shot extract s don't work great for me so I stay away from them I also worry about my tolerance when using any extract but have found the herbal pumps work for me using 3 pumps in place of 5 to 7 g of powder and didn't have any problem with tolerance after using them alone for a month I was able to go back to my normal servings Sorry you are going through this hope you find a solution I also love everything Liza carry s and her Diamond extract is very good although you want to be careful about your tolerance in any case and start a bit lower than needed

Herba reLeafs golden standard. I have known a few people that had surgery and used either the golden standard or the mit quick pump for post surgery and didn't have any issues. I hope you're surgery went well!

Has anyone here having stomach issues or surgery confirmed what the cause of your problem is? Been taking kratom for 5 years and lately my digestive system is haywire/not working. I went to doctor who wants colonoscppy and I didn’t tell them I take kratom because I don't want it to automatically get the blame. I have turned to extracts that I've had for a long time but didn't use, trying to find online most of what looks good is sold out!

The older I get, something new goes haywire. Most of my blowouts are confined to joints and veins, though. My stomach is still made of steel and I choke my Kratom down multiple times a day with Grapefruit juice. Acids don't bother me. My stomach is perhaps the only non-traitorous part of my body. But my spouse has Celiac Disease and over time, Gluten has absolutely ruined her. I have friends with Crohn's and Jesus H, they've never kratomed and surely would like. My partner with Celiac's also has Ehlers Danlos and with that comes a crapload of digestive shit. I'm not trying to pun, here, I swear. I don't know any other way to say it. I don't know if you have any other issues medically where this could be a comorbidity. One time, my partner went through a spell where there was no pooping. It resolved itself. Then we got the luxury of finding out that chemotherapy is the most constipating experience on the planet and can lead to obstruction and megacolon...they kept prescribing Senna and it didn't...do shit. She is on some cancer pills that can make your system all cracked up and now she just takes these amazing gummies from I think Hum...I don't know what your issue is, but my partner actually can't go regularly without these things. Nothing else has worked. Nothing. So much of her oncology treatment left her bound for weeks at a time, and then suddenly she had a blowout on a paper bag in the backyard after the Uber driver started to pull away. She was doing everything in her power not to shit the Uber. She shit the bag instead. Now, things are really fucking good with these green gummies...she thinks they taste terrible but I think it's nice. Again, I don't know what you can or cannot take, and I know what it's like to get weary when people suggest a supplement or a gummy no less that they swear will fix everything. And I'm not sure what your everything is, but I hope you are okay. Not okay, but good. Very good. And my partner's health has always been shaky but nothing like cancer. Nothing on earth has ever been like cancer, and I have a great faith in science more than ever. That said, the GI issues from treatment are gory as crapping on a bag or not going for weeks and weeks and getting hemmies. It's not pretty. Survival isn't pretty. But the docs offered effective pills and yet were obsessed with Senna. Again, it didn't do crap (okay, I saw that pun coming) but these Hum green fiber gummies have been the only thing that has worked over the course of two years and the only thing that keeps her regular--no constipation or as we dubbed it, explosive shit syndrome. All this said, I'm due for my first colonoscopy. I have learned to never be overly confident that I'm 'just fine' because my partner thought that. I got my first mammogram and apparently my small tits are so dense they need to do a totally different test. I've been blowing it off, but my partner is there to warn me--she had no symptoms. She went in with supreme confidence in her 'fine'-ness and so I'm superstitious about saying things like what I said above about my great stomach and GI. I take it back. I know nothing. No hubris here, universe. The only thing I do know is that these supplements are the only thing that has helped a cancer patient who also happens to have Celiac's, EDS and a history of peptic ulcers. If this could help you in any way, that would be awesome...I am afraid to mention Kratom to my docs but if you have to, do it. Don't sacrifice yourself to protect the Kratom industry. Xoxo

Thank you so much, yes have same problem as your partner but have never had chemo, figured it's from kratom. For a long time took magnesium citrate but stopped, lots of stressful things happened that affected it and made it worse. Started taking psyllium and senna tea every night that worked but have to take it every night. Doc wanted me to substitute miralax for the senna, which I've tried, it helps but still feel messed up. Have had only extract for a few days and feel like it doesn't work as good so hopefully the herbapump and full spectrum will be better. Thank you again for detailed response and well wishes.
