What separates oxidized from fermented?

I know they are very different, so is it just the bag to capture the moisture and promote the fermentation? They are both sun-dried, right? Bents are just in a bag...
Also, to me, it's like the smell of oxidized seems like it's a smell that is leading to that shoe polish fermented smell. ..I don't know, as usual I could be way off. I'm curious either way.

Good question. I think fermented implies the instituting of biological activity having been applied.

Only us non-chemists and crickets on this end. I have to go grab it tonight or tomorrow, but I came across what I believe to be a hilarious gift to you. I can't remember EXACTLY where I saw it, but somewhere between the landlord and my apartment. I'll find it. More found art coming your way, and some rocks and a coffee mug. Your pile is stacking up, but this will be moderately heavy, so it comes alone probably. I need to get some gold spray paint though...or it may come as is, you'll know what to do with it. Hopefully there's mention of Richmond in there too....
Seriously, if it comes out like I imagine, it's going to be really funny.

Smell really. Fermented has that smell and oxidized typically doesn't have much smell. Almost like a stale smell. Most fermented kratom is finished off sun dried because it helps them kill off growth during the drying process. I wouldn't want a fermented kratom that wasn't sun dried, that would be sketchy.
Fermented kratom should smell more regularly all the same, oxidized kratom you can have a range of smells that's not defined to one smell. The longer its left out in the sun the less potent of a smell you will get as it will get stale and lose alot of smell.
