First of all, a fond and happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow forum members who celebrate this holiday (I realize not all of you do). It's one of my favorites, since I LOVE turkey (this year I bought six - count 'em, six - Butterball turkeys, the smallest around 19 pounds, the largest (which we are cooking today) 25 pounds. All of them for at the most three people, but a lot of times only my dear wife and I).

As I enjoy the smell of turkey permeating the house (delicious!) I am also making up some kratom capsules from my last order from Denette, including the SK19 supplier (yum) as well as the "Grandpa" strain (could not resist well, because naturally).

This old man is thankful for a ton of things but I'd just like to point out one special one here - I'm VERY thankful to all the wonderful folks here on the forum who have befriended me, helped me tremendously in my kratom journey, and with whom I've shared a lot of stories I could not anywhere else (about kratom, mostly :>). I'm SO glad I was pointed here from Reddit because prior to that I truly had no idea what I was doing. I'm not saying I know it all now, but what I do know I've learned from all of you.

Thanks again and may your own holidays be as wonderful (and as filling - my wife also makes homemade rolls from scratch and they literally melt in your mouth. That, some turkey, and a cold bottle of Prosecco and there's nothing else I could want. Well, perhaps a great dose of kratom beforehand, which I *will* enjoy).

I think I can speak for most people here that we thank YOU for your kindness, contributions and for just generally being a pleasant comrade in the kratom community. Happy Thanksgiving!

I had some family over and then took a long nap after everyone left.

I really love seeing posts like this. It makes me happy when people are finding this forum helpful. It’s a great little community we’ve all built!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! That's a lot of turkey Kelley, enough till next year! I made a very small 7.77 lb turkey for my 89-year-old mom and younger sister and son. Along with green bean casserole, sweet potatoes (plain, no marshmallows or sweetener) and stuffing. Cheated on mashed potatoes and bought premade. Cranberry sauce. Pumpkin and apple pies. Always feel like I'm forgetting something.

I shopped, cooked, schlepped, served and cleaned up. My sister asked where did I get so much energy, I'm sure kratom had something to do with it

And, yes, it WAS a lot of turkey and we have enough to last... through the weekend. Essentially it will be all I will eat from now until Sunday evening (and it WILL be gone by then. As I said, I love turkey).

And then my poor dear wife has a bit of a respite until Christmas day, when we cook ANOTHER large one (but only around 22 pounds this time). And I haven't even told her about the two others I bought (she thinks I only got four on sale, when I got six). So - turkey all the way up to my shoulder replacement in May!
