Double M Herbals | Kratom Forum

Hey peeps,

I'm new to this forum. I just found out about kratom from a friend of mine and decided to give it a try. I had no idea there are so many decisions to make colors, speeds, geographics, and all the fancy names . So I've been reading in this forum every night trying to learn a little and figure out what to purchase and try first. I just figured I'd introduce myself and see if you could help me understand a little better. I keep seeing comments referring to "A suppliers", "E suppliers" and other letter designations. Would someone kindly explain what they mean. I've tried searching and I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance, your help is very appreciated.

Vendors often get their products from a few different sources or farmers/suppliers and give them letter designations. Customers remember their favorite batches come from a certain supplier and look to buy from that one.

Oh..one more thing...forget about the fancy names. They're just names. I used to work in a clothing manufacturing factory and had to color name all the fabrics..things like "Tennessee sunset" or "eggplant moon" because purple was already taken. And forget about geographics too. For your purposes, irrelevant.
You're doing the right thing in doing a lot of reading here. It'll all come together and though plenty of mysteries will remain, they're inherent in this plant!

I came here a couple of years ago when I first started with kratom, and I don't know where I'd be without Double M Herbals - many great and helpful people, with a TON of information It'll all come together for you, just takes a while.

One thing that'll be helpful to know is what quality vendors you can buy from that aren't private memberships. You'll eventually get memberships, but the vendors mentioned here are typically fairly small, with high quality leaf, and just can't sell to the world.

Finally, don't hesitate to ask questions - you're already doing the right thing by reading and reading!

Search BallzDeep9 and JFish030 post. Both of them are very knowledgeable and really know their stuff. JFish030 is also a long time vendor. His www.herbal-rva.com put speciosa in the search bar to bring up what he has to offer. There are a lot a great vendors and you can look at under announcements for Ballz 2023 vendor list. I'd add Fused Flora to SeventhHeaven's starter list of good public vendors. Shaun is a great guy. But really, there are so many!
It's great if you can get in on ordering from the private suppliers such as TFH, Denette, etc., but don't get hung up on it. There is also something to be said for the simplicity of just loading up your cart, checking out and getting decent kratom at your door three days later.
I've used Kratom daily for four years and have dropped by Double M a lot because I love the members and you learn a ton of interesting stuff, but truth be told, I don't always take what I learn into consideration when I am ordering.
The vendor recommendations are invaluable, no question -- but in terms of people raving their heads off about a particular strain? Even if you manage to order from the exact same batch, it may not hit you the way it did them. All of my peak kratom strains were sampled serendipitously.

Good advice with one caveat (or added possibility) - you MAY find someone with very similar tastes (or body reactions, or whatever the heck it is that makes this stuff work) as yours. If you do, then their reviews are golden.

But, yes, kratom is SUCH an individual experience that even many reviews that are glowing could be about a batch that leaves you cold (or vice versa). I DO think there is something to be said for the TFH testing process, where they take into account dozens (hundreds?) of testers opinions, but when even they shared some of their stats there definitely was an outlier or two, a batch that someone thought was wonderful that most did not, or vice versa.
