LOLOLOL! I don't know if any of you watched the webinar but Mac stated that if anyone takes kratom and feels euphoria then it has been adulterated. Either Mac's full of shit, or he's been using some seriously shitty leaf, probably both. He mentioned this while referencing our beloved small batch vendors and how they're being irresponsible by the way. I'm guessing a lot of the AKA cheerleaders are starting to discover the difference in quality between bulk and small batch so the AKA needed to discredit the competition somehow. I remember the conversation about quality and bulk vs small batch started picking up steam in the AKA chat a couple of years ago, then shortly after the chat was taken down . I wish we had a better organization to fight for us but for now it appears that they are a necessary evil. I'm not totally anti AKA or anything either, but it's clear that they are not on the level with everything, their agenda obviously consists of more than just protecting kratom consumers.

Note: By the way I'm not suggesting that kratom creates a euphoria like opioids or other illicit substances, it's not even in the same ballpark, but to say that there is none at all is absurd.

seems like there is a core hypocrisy here.

i'm mapping to the old 'lesser of two evils' choice, which i've never been into. the 2 evils seem to be basically - ban all kratom, or make it all boring. I suppose i'm remiss in not folloiwng the AKA enough, but if THIS is an official position, i can't support them.

I'm going to email all of my favorite vendors and tell them that i'm going to stop buying from them if i keep on enjoying their product so much.

You should tell ALL of the vendors, whether they are shitty or not. Keep em confused!

yeah Mac Haddow, is an amazing guy - has been involved in the FDA fight w/ DSHEA for over 30 years. Hard to imagine ANY better person to be leading AKA... but Legal fights cost $ Money OK well, the big commercial vendors DO make lots of money! So same as every other industry, product, service, whatever... under Capitalism. Those with the most Money, control everything - AND try to setup the game to their advantage. No surprise there!!

I thought it was interesting he referenced Indo's deliberately harvesting of BUNK plant material, shipping Lower Quality - A direct response to Lower Prices they are getting paid by USA "Big Kratom" companies... So he's finally admitting this ? Briefly LOL. Mac is an absolute master of politics - See how he plays both sides ? He calls out FDA's False claims about kratom... But then HE claims there's Fentanyl being adulterated and USA kratom is "unsafe" ? Any proof ? Sounds a bit like AKA and FDA are doing the same thing... spreading FUD about kratom.
