Re: Exclusive Double M Event - Now Live! Texas Family Harve
My two cents - Red Horn Reserve is incredible. Red Sumatra Select is incredible. Both are nice and slow, super pleasant and I forget about my disc problems. Red Riau is probably great too but it's really strong and my normal dose was too much so I can't judge it properly yet.
Does anyone have feedback on the Choc Bent, Sun-Dried Relaxing Red, Wild Red TFH, and Wild Red Vietnam? Maybe throw in the yellows too if you've got em.
Also if you had to pick one green for the daytime what's your pick?

I really like the Jade Hulu SSV and Classic Green MD. For me the Hulu is a little more relaxing, while the Classic MD is more productive feeling but by no means over-stimulating.hohoclintondix wrote: Also if you had to pick one green for the daytime what's your pick?
Heard good things about the Old School Bali but haven't had a chance to try it yet (I have a sample)

Old School Bali is OK. I'm more into the Classic Green Bali which is a bit more upfront.TheStanman wrote:I really like the Jade Hulu SSV and Classic Green MD. with you on the old school bali being just OK burnmaster. my sample i tried yesterday was the first time ive ever really felt that total 'dud' feeling. im sure there are folks who will in turn LOVE this. gave me 0 mental effect at all which feels so weird when the pain relief is really crazy. its like smoking CBD buds or something akin to that.
congrats 2 all the winners! hopefully everyone claims theirs! my ticket was 1 number off from a winner. fingers crossed next time.

The Chocolate Bent and Sun Dried Relaxing Red are similar but the SDRR is more uplifting and less sedating, whereas I find the Choco Bent to be quite slower. Both are cocoa-powder-color fermented and what I find to be the best go-to's for blending. That is, they effectively impart there characteristics when I mix with other strains.
Wild Red TFH on the other hand is a tried and true heavy red MD'ish strain that is very "green". A potent red, but on the more couch-lock-muscular-relaxation whilst remaining alert side of the coin. Still not something I'd call "daytime" at all though.
I've got the Red Vietnam and Samarinda on the way!!
Wild Premium Kali SG: SB13 would be my number one green pick if I had to choose only one. By extension that might be my absolute very favorite green period ATM. Well rounded but distinctive profile with potency that words don't do justice for me. If you are looking for a selection that can be part of kg. split right now though I'd say the Green Maeng Da: A2-SD is a must. Another well rounded green that hits predictably, upper-mid, and is extremely motivating.

Finally some love for the Wild Premium Kali SG. It’s seemed to go under the radar, but it is one of the greatest strains I’ve ever had.
Just curious, has anyone tried the Sunset Bali yet? If so, what’s it like?

I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about the 30 Year Wild Super Green IR3. I have to say I have really been enjoying that one. It helps knock out the pain while giving me a nice energy boost. It also seems to last a bit longer than a lot of my red strains. And it’s got a nice mood boost without jitters. I take about 0.5-1.0 grams less than my normal dose and I’m good to go for the better part of a day

I finally sampled my 30 Year Wild Super Green today and I’m going to need to mess around with the dosage because it was the first time TFH leaf has given me that ball of nervous tension in my stomach Kratom at times creates.MycatTimmy wrote:I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about the 30 Year Wild Super Green IR3. 30 Year Wild Super Green IR3 <----Hey ! I got that one too. Haven't opened it yet though, tried the Emerald Elephant green one and wasn't super thrilled with it, but I only had it once so far. Hopefully the IR3 is a bit more like a usual green.

Yeah, I would agree with that assessment. Very minimal headiness and more of a medicinal feel to it. If you get a chance the Classic Green Bali is amazing. Its sedating,anti-anxiety and euphoric. Probably my favorite out of all the ones I've sampled from TFH.the_spookiest wrote:with you on the old school bali being just OK burnmaster. my sample i tried yesterday was the first time ive ever really felt that total 'dud' feeling. im sure there are folks who will in turn LOVE this. gave me 0 mental effect at all which feels so weird when the pain relief is really crazy. its like smoking CBD buds or something akin to that.

I agreee, 30yr Wild super green is solid! That and the wild harvest yellow Maeng da are my two favorites so far. I have a second order coming soon. Got more greens than others but two of each color still. The traditional wild green indo is relaxing too, I did that after work today and was feeling relaxed of course!

I put it in rotation, figure i'll give it at least 3-5 chances to impress me, one time isn't enough to really measure how it works - it just wasn't that great the first time is all. Seems like that has happened at least once before (and has probably happened to every one) where a new batch seems weak or strange at first, but after a few uses it becomes perfectly normal and maybe even one of your favs. So I'm uhh, 'cautiously optimistic' as the saying goes ha-ha.DennisHopper wrote: Keep trying the Emerald Elephant. Oh, I am, too, but I guess it was pretty fair. Once I realized how many people were coming out of the woodwork, I went a little crazy with the stocking up. I figured the raffle wouldn't yield any membership. At least I'll be good for a while, and we've got a bunch of other great vendors here. I can't wait to start submitting reviews for them all!KBull wrote: Yeah I think they did a very fair way to add more members, I’m just jealous I guess. Chris addressed this in a previous post. He said there were a couple early orders that got processed like regular members so there might be a couple people who didn't get tickets. He said to write to them and they'll generate some digital numbers for you and get you in the mix for the next drawing. I would suggest shooting them an email and letting them know your situation. Maybe you'll be a winner!psychonaut wrote:Just went to look for my raffle ticket and lo and behold there wasn't one. Chris and Angie,
Thank you for all you do. This is great news. I got a couple orders in and was disappointed to see the early closing of the sale event. There were several strains I still wanted to grab but my budget didn’t permit. The August re-Open is perfect timing. Thanks again! You guys are the best.

i think the august redux is a wonderful way to keep and maintain the image cultivated by the TFH name and quality. not only is it 'only fair' to keep their word about the length of time people have to order here, its actually better for us since they can restock as they need to and we have a bit more time to learn what we like and dont like. very glad to see this being done. i will likely be placing a 3rd order in august

I don't know, I think it was understood that there was a limited supply. It was pointed out within the instructions they requested we actually read, right? We had a lot of warning. I don't feel like it's "only fair," I feel like it's above and beyond. It should be considered an opportunity, not a right.
That being said, I'm still excited about another chance, and I'll probably break down and put in another order.

So happy you're coming back in August barely had any money to spend this time for a small order, hoping I'll at least be able to get a kilo next time. Definitely one of the best vendors out there.

Seriously. This Leaf is by Connoisseurs for Connoisseurs, not Walmart or a government program. TFH is an established small vendor with a clear mission for quality (with amazing prices AND a big heart!). We are beyond fortunate that they have begun dispensing for non-members. Of course there will always be those who feel entitled
