Sorry, TLDR (or just not enough time in my life) but I'd guess they raise the same concerns there always is, which is that any sort of organized effort on kratom is a two-edged sword.
Which OF COURSE it is - it's kind of the same thing about government. In the old days you didn't have to go to school, you could gather rainwater and grow whatever the hell you wanted to grow on your property and dress and act anyway you'd like. Except, of course, that so could your neighbors and to prevent THEM (and outsiders like, well, indians) from raping and pillaging you you had a set of laws and government which worked to the general good (but losing the specific freedoms). Another way of looking at it is "the greater the government, the smaller the citizen".
Keeping kratom unregulated also means unprotected, and eventually SOMEONE will step in and "protect" us. The only question is choosing your poison. Right now the AKA is about the only "good" choice but it doesn't mean it's a perfect choice, not by a long shot. Again, as I wrote elsewhere here, gather ye acorns while ye may (IOW, buy as much kratom from your private vendors as possible. This time won't last and it won't be long before we look back on these as "the good old days". And don't say I didn't warn you).

Hold on hold on hold on - Are you F ing Kidding me?
You ARE, You ARE kidding Me.
I think I heard Reddit calling you home for lunch.
I have some pretty serious accusations of my own to make - about you. It's insulting and probably against site policy to post archived web pages
from several years past - in attempt to start negative discourse and emotional, knee jerk BS or to load your out of date
malware you got on the cheap that only loads from servers as old as this one - Way Back Machine / internet archives
Don't click the link if you are on an outdated version (or any version of) of MS Windows
(avoid malware)
When someone posts some - apparently 7 year old gossipy smear piece that has long since been removed
from it's orignal web server, .. fun as it may to indulge, it'd be a better idea to oust anyone that would
come here to punk you or any other Mm member like that.
Something more is going on here... or it's so dumb that it might lower your own intelligence if you over indulge.
Anyone can find some smear piece on any subject that was published this year or last week or just write better slander yourself.
-there's no legitimate reason or excuse for baiting ppl with archives

well, generally my attitude is - while in life there are some conspiracies, generally when you encounter a site that has totally out there conspiracy theories on it, it is generally just bullshit.
i glanced at some of this, and while I really don't like this haddow guy (have posted about that), the notion that he was somehow working with Gaddafi (sp?) and some of the other stuff? just had the air of a hysterical out there conspiracy site, and i would want to see much more credible stories, in a more objective style. And the point of course that this is years old is absolutely relevant.
this kind of thing is relevant only as amusement (some conspiracy theories are hilarious until you know that some people take them seriously)...Adrenochrome anyone?

I had no malicious intent or secret motive. I came here seeking informed opinions of more experienced community members. Your rabid response took me completely by surprise. Makes me wonder if you don't have an agenda of your own.Transformato wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 2:11 pm Hold on hold on hold on - Are you F ing Kidding me?
