21 days!! with frans & dhl?? Beware! (Resolved)

There's got to be a better way.
When you are told 10 days to 2 weeks and its 18 days to find out if it even shows....there's got to be a better way.
You know selling kratom - I am now a monkey. Shelf bare.

DHL, not ups but if it takes nearly a week to leave after you pay, you are somebodys little monkey.

From the time I asked for a quote, I got email "you buy now?" " you buy now?" - i thought they were in a hurry and would ship in a hurry too.

WHO marks it right and gets it there on time?

Mine says "tea" and made it so far.....but i had read it should be marked non consummable or get taken?

If and when I get this one, i am going with somebody charging less and getting the shipment there faster.

But I will come back "day 18?" or whenever and let you know if I got good kratom......wondering now.....

International shipments are always a crap shoot. And not just for kratom. A few years ago someone sent me some Dutch candy. She sent it two weeks before Christmas. It didn't get here until the second week of January. At least I got it before Valentine's day.

Well, paid the 5th

BECAUSE FRANS COULDN'T EVEN ADDRESS IT RIGHT!

ALL FRANS IS IS HIGH PRICED, ONE MONTH SHIPPING IDIOTS WHO COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Thats the actual facts. Go Borneo Supply or someone besides frans herbs. You will be out of business!

You will wait a month to see if thier kratom is as crappy as thier service.

I have never had that before? I must be extrordinarily lucky??

Frans says "you go get it" too.....on the weekend when you CAN'T.

People need to know frans is utter bullshit and lousy excuses for HIGH PRICE PLUS SHIPPING.

I am not sure they know how to use computer either?
If you complain, they try to send your "where is it?" email back as your order email. Lots of confusion? LOUSY service.

I know frans herb supplies at least one of the bigger vendors, maybe more.

Buying from Indo right now with shipping the way it is is pretty much a crapshoot. I wouldn't even try myself.

I told frans they owe me shipping and $8 a high priced kilo back, but if they didn't at least have my shipping after that total abortion, not to keep bothering me.

gotta agree w/ herbalhippie - All Indo suppliers are having problems shipping direct to USA, right now.... This buyer didn't do his homework ? Of course the Seller still wants to sell his kratom. It's up to the Buyer to accept the RISK / rather than buy from a US vendor no problem... Need your kratom in 10 days? DO NOT order from Indonesia!

Maybe what I have read is less than accurate?

Dhl took like four of the days and this weekend extra -
It took frans the time for it to get to jakarta, not the flight or our customs?
I did ask frans first and it was them that said 10-14 days.

I will ask borneo that you mention it.....but I think several are doing ok somehow?

I am at least glad to see by your post that it is probably not head shop drech. I kinda wondered when someone mentioned the mega bizz.

Update: frans wrote and instructed me to contact dhl and give the same address i gave them, that they did not put on my package.
I had already done this for him yesterday?
Dhl said they had it coming monday?

Now, I am waiting for dhl to write back and confirm they in fact do have the address.....so hopefully sometime on DAY 21 I will finally get our sample 10ki order.

This is the worst customer treatment, denial and service of any seller I have known since 2011. Just factually, before you give these clowns hundreds of bucks to wreck yourself.

Be back monday unless I have to more of thier job again? Will post?

Frans Herb has some of the best kratom I've tried recently. I have an order coming from him right now, but since China Post and POS Indonesia aren't accepting kratom shipments, he has to use an alternate route. For me my order was shipped through Singapore and will be sent to the US by DHL eventually. Shipping kratom overseas is kinda tough right now, so I think that mainly explains the long wait. If my package arrives as late as yours it will be because DHL is slow, not Frans. I think the long wait is just a product of the shitty shipping situation right now.

Well frans totally botched mine, in no way backs up thier botches and deflects bravely. Never again and all my friends know too.

But today its just dhl, who said friday that it would be here today and today says it will be here tomorrow.
(Haha the saga continues....)

(Lot of people have "the best" kratom and a number of them can even copy a label over and get it to you in 10 days or so instead of 23 or 24 days. They also make good on thier deals. Frans didn't and wanted a handicap pass. No.)

No shipment over 3 weeks after shelling close to 5 bills

Ridiculously labeled package

Complete run around. Every exciuse to deflect and dump all the straightening out on the customer

When last delivery date expired, after the botch and silly head games....greedy lil leaf pirate says "I send to right address"....22 days later

I have to have inventory. Nobody would buy a clown act off of me, they would just hit the next button.

I was really weary of every childish game and delay tactic.

Give-me-my-money-back
Borneo Supply will make me a better deal anyway and people claim they can ship a box!

I have a serious question... have you not seen people having issues with getting orders from Indonesia? I've been on the fence for over a month, trying to decide if I want to make another order. If you don't know that you're taking a huge chance any time that you order from anyone from Indonesia, you're in the wrong business. It's just like how I like to go charter fishing on the lake. I call the captain of the boat and ask him how the fish are biting, and he says, "Great! The other day almost everyone got their limit!" So, I give him my money, we go out with a bunch of people... not one bite. You don't think that he would really tell me that the fish aren't biting when I ask him, do you?

I've made a deal with my farmer if/when I make an order. I have trust in him that he'll do the right thing, but whatever happens, I have to assume risk that I may lose money, period. I understand that my farmer doesn't control shipping and/or customs.

Alright, now I'm seeing it. I looked up the tracking number on DHL and it looks like Fransherb had the package physically in DHL's hands on November 19.

But you're saying you paid him on November 5, which means he waited two whole weeks to send it, and that the reason you haven't gotten it yet is -- at least in part -- because he labeled it incorrectly. This is also confirmed by the tracking history.

Yeah, I can see why you're pissed off. But at least it's stateside now, which is more than can be said for a lot of other shipments folks are waiting on. NOT that that makes it better for you personally, of course.

Keep us posted, Kunlong. I hope you get it soon.

No. No shipment. Frans refusing any refund. Have to escalate claim at paypal or nothing.

In this 3 weeks i have had to buy twice and have to order again today from a reliable and still no shipment from paying frans on the 5th when he botched it up.

1-10 kilo buyers are not prepared for that and will get a whirlwind of palm offs and evasions.

I HAVE contacted DHL 4 times. Every time he said "YOU fix!"

DHL is now quite sure package will come tomorrow.

Because on my last call.......I got that one person you sometimes get that knows and can work everything?

He found it, flagged it, CORRECTED LABEL AGAIN (wth?) and sent me copy AND....actually put-it-on-a-truck!! (That button too) BONUS!

So it was not the shipper or dhl that got anything right out of 6 people and over 3 weeks.
It was that one person you sometimes get

Again I gotta agree with Arctic_Martian - Frans Herb has been shipping some fine kratom! After your hassle, I hope it's the quality I got from him, Dayak strains a couple months ago.

Frans is associated with a group of Indo suppliers in Ponti. Some of his friends are much "bigger" in they supply to many US vendors.. There is always a language barrier, & we have to remember, Indo's get scammed by US buyers, too, unfortunately .. $50 bucks is a lot more, to them. I did order from Ace Botanicals and it's also in DHL hands. Knock on wood

It doesn't matter if it's labeled with that, DHL has been seizing kratom for awhile. It used to be outside of California most DHL shipments would make it, looks like they (DHL) are wising up to it. It takes 1-2 months to get a shipment when we order usually. All that processing time harvesting and grinding the leaves. Is it possible he had to wait to ship it because of the situation with POS Indonesia, which around the time you ordered it was easy to send kratom to the USA, but it has become very difficult. It looks like your package will not make it. When I used DHL/UPS 2 years ago, a package would always repeat shipment on hold before it showed an agricultural or FDA hold. Same thing with UPS, but it could have changed. Maybe ask someone for tracking who has a shipment under a hold.

I alerted on the term, but there was an accompanying detail ie the address. Now it says delivery tomorrow. (Again. 4th time.

)

I had read about ups grabbing someones in kentucky and was leery of them.....thanks for the info about dhl.

Oh if only USPS had thier own x-men jets....

I will post tomorrow evening and I will say Frans was ready to resend when he thought customs was the problem.
It took him a minute to get what it was and then he balled up.

Came here looking for an update. CHecked your tracking and I'm sorry to see it. This is the stuff vendors have had to deal with these last few years. If the delivery date is unavailable, that usually means you're not getting it.

A KEY date is the "Clearance Event", which happens at the DHL HUB - Clearance is where FDA does their Inspection - In this case, HUB is located at Cincinnati, OH. Clearance was on the 15th.

Passed FDA Clearance. Took another 4 days for delivery to final destination city. What I don't understand, is why FDA is holding the package AT the destination? Seems a bit odd.

The HOLD has been 10+ days already....

So kratom is being held, at DHL warehouses in cities across the USA? Before Delivery? Why wasn't HOLD placed, at the point of Inspection?

Kunlong - Just a suggestion. Tracking SAYS your shipment IS at your city... Right? Print the damn Tracking, drive over to the DHL Warehouse, SHOW them the print-out and ask for your package. That's what I would do.

This wouldn't be the shippers fault. Send your complaint to DHL & the FDA. I stopped using DHL entirely 2 years ago because they would never deliver anything. BTW I have no business relationship with Frans and don't love him, I don't know him. Edit: I didn't realize the delivery address is incorrect, that would be someone's fault.

@Ballz, glad to be here and that is just how the tracking shows up, same thing with UPS. I assume there is an agreement in place between couriers and the US government in exchange for faster customs clearance, they can recall packages that weren't held by ICE while they were in transit to expedite customs clearance for all their packs.

To OP, Ballz had good advice. I would go to the DHL office or call that particular location and ask to pickup your package from there in person. I could be wrong and DHL is just sucking.
