Small change increased my life satisfaction, partial game changer

I got a pack of five handkerchiefs from Amazon several years ago. I take one in my pocket if I have congestion and keep one on my nightstand for maximum blowing satisfaction and clearing of nasal passages. Kleenex or tp is saved for swabbing my nostrils after if there is mucous up in there. I guess it sounds way grosser than it actually is, but I get nice, clean blows instead of shreds of weak tissue, and before Kleenex it was the only way to go.
Ah, Google says there is record of their supposed use in 1000 BC China and use of them as fashion in 17th century Europe. And a hankie is integral to the plot of Othello. Blow on.

Most definitely... Buy those 5-packs, some like Van Heusen, Dockers, Polo...

all cotton. Wash em and Iron em even! ~ For us guys who get allergies, hay fever, histamine, or just all this goddamn DUST in the freakin' City!!! Always have one in pocket.
Always have on night-stand, WITH a bottle of "Saline Nasal Spray"... that also helps. For the Ultimate clear sinus ~ get a
Neti Pot.
, I actually did fire-up the Neti Pot a couple weeks ago, its Spring time allergy season!

We always had Kleenex in the house but my father would never use anything but a cotton handkerchief. One of my jobs was ironing handkerchiefs and pillowcases.

My sisters and I learned embroidery using my Father’s white handkerchiefs as the white ones were all he would use. Once us girls learned how everything he blew his nose on was monogrammed lol

This is so very COOL. I have always thought about trying embroidery. I love to sew (though I haven't in an age). The thought of decorating my own things is lighting me up. Is it an expensive craft? Can you make your own designs?
Also: so great to see you Mycat. I hope you and yours are doing OK?

Hey Greyfeather good to hear from you. I’ve been missing your posts and wondering how your doing ? Okay I hope.
Embroidery is not expensive at all and some of the stitches are relatively simple, especially cross stitch. You can do your own design or use one of the handy iron on transfers that they make. If I can help shoot me a PM. I think it’s your turn anyway lol

I use my Neti Pot every night after a hot shower. It's a game changer for allergy season. Like a relaxing shower for your sinuses.
